You keep waiting for the dust to settle and then you realize it; the dust is your life going on. If happy comes along - that weird unbearable delight that's actual happy - I think you have to grab it while you can. You take what you can get, 'cause it's here, and then...gone.

Bit too highbrow for me. Seriously, yes I have seen it, it's alright.

I haven't. I watched the series when it first started and enjoyed it but it got a bit wearying.

                • 5. The Dead - John Huston’s powerful version of James Joyce’s final story in Dubliners - one of my favorite short stories ever. It’s a beautiful film - and the story is a masterpiece.

Name a movie that has been remade - not just once, but at least twice. And it can’t be based on material from another source, like a book.

                  • A movie that has been remade more than 2 times that is original - Miracle on 34th Street. I loved it as a child.

There was a novella, but it was written after the film to promote it.

The 1947 film starred Natalie Wood and Edmund Gwenn
There was a 1955 version with Thomas Mitchell
There was a 1959 version with Ed Wynn
There was a 1973 version with Sebastian Cabot
There was a 1994 version with Richard Attenborough directed by John Hughes.

                    So that makes five remakes!
