Here's a list of the fics I've got on here so far...will edit as I add new ones. Can't seem to add links properly so will just paste 'em for the moment:
The Client Meeting: a Lilah-centric fic for fic challenge number one:
There are a few currently-abandoned WIPs too, will post links if I add more to them, otherwise that's just frustrating for y'all And hopefully all the above links are correct.
Impossible things: a season 3 Doctor Who fic, set during the finale
Spoiler:
(after all the manic running around, after the Master dies, after time turns back, when they're back in Cardiff...they meet an old Who face...no, not Boe)
A collection of drabbles about how the Scoobies finally meet their makers...how they feel about it...and who they're thinking of as they make their final exits. Inspired by the last ep of Six Feet Under:
Just wanted to pop my head round the door and say a few words about city boy.
Love it.
What you want more? o.k then. What i really love about this peice is Xander espeially this:
"He gave you a TARDIS? That is so...and now I'm suddenly realising you meant something from Tiffany's." Xander shook his head. "And now I'm realising that the fact that I know that means I clearly spend too much time with women."
I can actually hear Xander talking when i read that . You've absolutely nailed his character and voice.

The ending is priceless as well.
Glad you enjoyed it. Xander, he's so much fun to write. Might do another Xander-centric one soon, just looking for my muse. It's funny really, he's not one of my favourite characters when I'm watching the show, but i love writing him.
Liked "Grit" a lot. I think you captured Rose's voice very well.

Ta mate! Been watching rather too many Rose/Ten fanvids lately. Am a sap. So I thought I'd try a Rose piece where she was aware of being a sap too, and trying to escape it. But, not so easy to escape the slough of schmoopangsty (much like despond, only with more emo).
That is without a doubt one of the finest fics i have ever read. The characters are down pat, House has never been Housier and the choice of bad guy is inspired.
Quick, funny, imaginative, well plotted, written with keen observation and a great ear for language... i'm just blown away.

Aww, thanks! I started it ages ago while having a House binge, got suddenly inspired to finish it (perhaps, having been ill, made me think of hospitals??). Thanks for the kind words, made my day
Ameer, thanks for the feedback in your PM...and have made the correction you suggested.
I don't know anything about "House" but what I've been able to glean from fans of the show and commercials, but that is a pretty dang good fic. Definitely seems to have what I assume to be his voice, pretty seamlessly blended with the Buffyverse.

You know, I think they - the two universes - have a lot in common. Especially in terms of the dialogue: the snarky/snappy/quick-fire/mocking thing that House has going on would fit nicely in the buffyverse (though he's perhaps a little harsher than they'd ever be). Plus, both universes centre around solving mysteries/scoobying...there's a detective show feel to both even though neither are detective shows per se.

And for my next fic...actually, not sure what situation I'd want to write Jack and Spike in. Probably some kind of mortal peril/snarky bonding thing. Interesting pairing, cos they're both the not-the-main-hero guys.
Maybe they could meet during WWII? Though I think post-chip/post-soul Spike might work better. Not sure why. Hmm...
Ooh please do, I had to google Jack-no Torchwood for us on this side of pond. I have got some Dr Who on the DVR but haven't started watching yet. Anyway-the whole thing gave me a good giggle. I especially loved the ...other nemesis bit. Poor thing, always second place.
But Jack sounds like interesting and flirty fun.

Get watching lady. Lots of silly fun (and pretty boys). I was in a really foul mood earlier, then watched Doctor Who, and the world was shiny like Christmas
But Captain Jack, in brief, is a time traveller who has lots of sex with more or less anyone. Then goes through an emo phase. Then sort of gets over it but sort of doesn't. And is immortal, obv.

Yes he is. Second-place characters....often the most interesting imo.
Hmm, wrote feedback for "Impossible Things" last night but the net seems to have swallowed it.
...hands touching, casually?a sandy-blonde-haired young man with a cheeky smile. A wicked smile, you might've said?he a wild, mean streak?but there was still something good there. Something so alive, so present. He made you feel the whole universe was right there with you, spread out on the grass around them.
Love that description. The past you've created between the Master and the Doctor works very well, it's really interesting, you're given their relationship more than the jokes and banter it seemed to deserve on the screen, there's a real sense of loss in this fic and a creation of the fragility and intensity between M and D. I love the writing too, particularly the bit about the universe spread out on the grass so evocative I can just see it, and it makes M all the more interesting.
I liked how this fic was written too with all this emotion spread between the witty dialouge and jokes; it made it seem more fragile and more hopeful somehow. I love how you wrote Jack too

Very glad you enjoyed it. I'd love to write some more Master/Doctor, in their past...though I'm intimidated by my lack of knowledge of former incarnations so worried I'd break with canon...wonder how much is known of their history on Gallifrey?
The vibe I was going for was kinda Brideshead (thinking of the timelord college thingie as another sort of Oxford) picnic...the sort of idyll that always goes sour in the end.
But now, thinking about the possibilities for the Master and the Doctor, I'm all pissed off again about the finale. But I suppose that's one of the boons of fanfic...getting to write what you wish you'd seen
I'd love to see Susan back, too...I'm trying to work out what the Doc thinks happened to her, when he's talking about being the last of the timelords...and what susan was, exactly. Internet research didn't give me anything much conclusive. I went with assuming he thought she was dead, to avoid all the complications

I've been intimidated by that too: the dynamic between them is so inspiring, but I really hardly know anything about Who canon. Maybe don't worry? It'll be fun anyway!

I was actually thinking Waugh when I was reading it. You definately got that vibe across. The Master makes a good Sebastian! The Whole doomed idyll feel of Brideshead works well with the Gallifrey myth

I was so pissed off! They have such an amazing dynamic, I wish he'd replaced Martha.
Still, with fanfic we get to slash it up even more...

I didn't even know who Susan was, sadly, I'm really lacking in Who knowledge. BBC showed it at such an awkward time! I'm now saving up for the DVDs I liked Susan as you wrote her tho!
Just realised, I think that's my first mpreg fic!
That's not something to be proud! Mpreg is one of the many Roots of all Evil

Dear me... Lou, just read your fic challenge piece and it blew me away- I was expecting a Doctor Who crossover, and when I saw Harry standing in Lilah's office I was pretty suprised!
I do adore Lilah, and I think you write her beautifully

Yeah, I'm tempted to say sod continuity for anything before these seasons...most people reading the fic would probably only have seen the new Who anyway, or at least, only care about that.

I wonder who's going to be the Doctor's Julia, then? Maybe the Master has a fit sister

I'm hoping to find some good Master-as-companion fics. I'd actually like to read some that's not slash, but just has slashy overtones...sometimes I like a little left to the imagination.

She's the Doc's granddaughter, she was in the very first series. I don't remember what she was like really, so I just made up what I thought she should be like (a little cold and weird, with a bit of an old fashioned prim vibe).
That's not something to be proud! Mpreg is one of the many Roots of all Evil
I don't think I'll be expanding my horizons on that front, don't worry!

Glad that it did give a genuine surprise. Lilah's such a fun one to write, I don't know why I haven't done her more before. And dark!Harry was lots of fun...I want him to go evil plz, Ms Rowling! Dark!Harry was rather strongly influenced by Doctor Who mind you...thinking of the Doctor being the only Gallifrey survivor (or so he thought...).
Love your rhymey Who poem. The words are beautiful, very haunting, lines like "played cat and cat" and "The world is dying in my lap" aren't easy to forget. I love the sounds of it, I don't always like rhyme, but the sounds you create make this poem so striking. You've created so many emotions in the poem, creates a sense of the time and space surrounding the Doctor as well as the horror and immediacy of the moment.
You say so much about the Timelords, with lines like "But I can love you as you are", making me feel the senselessness and sadness of the death. I love the anger and passion there is ("You stubborn bastard, change your face"), as well as a creating a sense of who the Doctor is, "They loved me with their foreign eyes" shows us again how important the Master is, and draws it all up to a staggering finish with the fading of the drums.
Don't think I'm being very coherent, but have to say how much I love this poem. So immediate, so moving, such beautiful language, I just want to keep reading it and reading it.
