I sat down and read every last one of your Buffyverse fics, Kold...unless you count "Slayer, Killer". Maybe later. Your work is the dark essence of win. You are the Master.

I must admit I didn't quite understand what was going on in "Serpent"--I didn't get the point of Jenny's actions if she wasn't going to kill Darla.

I liked the Spuffy story, "Your Dead Lover's Arms" -- really captured the approach-avoidance of their relationship in Season 6 very well.

Ooh, thanks, not so sure what that means but I like it.
Don't worry about "Slayer, Killer" unless you watch BSG. I tried to fit in a lot of the themes Buffy and Faith face in BtVS with the BSG context and lore, dunno about that though.

It's always a worry when somebody can't make sense of something in your fic, and you yourself can't remember...

I'm going to say -- when Uncle Enyos found out that Angel was going to Sunnydale, he wanted Jenny not only to keep an eye on Angel but on the influences that might affect Angel (most obviously, Darla). Jenny was not so convinced but went along with this little mission to see for herself -- her actions with Darla/what Darla said convinced her that Darla/the Order of Aurelius was probably a threat. Also, if she was in some way forewarned that they might try to end the world, she'd always be on her toes looking for the signs of apocalypse (as she clearly was in "Prophecy Girl"). However, what she did with Darla also made her in some ways reject what her Uncle/tribe would have her do, and all their "vengeance is a living creature" shtick, because it disturbed her and made her feel like a vampire.

Thanks very much! I like to sit down and rethink my opinions on different aspects of the show sometimes, and this was a product of re-considering season 6. I hope it didn't come off as for or against Spuffy, just the way it was during the height of their sexual relationship.

It's neutrality is clear. It's just truth. You did a great job with it.
