ACT I

INT - EAST WICK MORGUE - DAY

Steven is shaking a man’s hand and holding a folder. The camera pans in on them.

STEVEN: (excited) Thanks so much for this opportunity Mr. Collingsworth. I can’t wait till I start.

MR. COLLINGSWORTH: Steven, it’s my pleasure. So I’ll see you Monday?

STEVEN: (smiling) Bright and early, sir.

MR. COLLINGSWORTH: Well I have to get back to work so; Monday it is?

STEVEN: Monday.

Steven turns and exit’s the morgue with a smile on his face

CUT:

INT - STEVEN’S HOUSE/ LIVING ROOM - DAY

Steven enters the house humming a tune until something catches his site. He glares into the living room to see a shadow standing in the middle of the floor. It appears to be a female’s figure. Steven slowly inches in and turns the corner to see Stacie standing there with her back facing him and her hands on her hips. Steven expression grows cold with a hint of annoyance.

STEVEN: Stacie, why are you here?

Stacie turns and faces him.

STACIE: (yelling) Where the hell have you been!?

STEVEN: Gone, actually I got a job.

STACIE: Where?

STEVEN: The City Morgue.

STACIE: (disgusted) Ewe, your gross.

STEVEN: (annoyed) Why are you here?

STACIE: (sighs) Fredeth sent me to fetch you. Some slayer crap he wanted to talk to you about.

STEVEN: Why didn’t he call me.

STACIE: (annoyed) I don’t know. Do I look like Miss. Cleo to you? (pause) Come on lets go.

STEVEN: Go where?

STACIE: To Fredeth’s, god you’re a idiot, but I have to stop some where first.

She turns around and exits the house as Steven follows.

CUT TO:

INT - WATCHER’S COUNCIL/ FOURTH FLOOR - NIGHT

Minxie is storming through the open office area as she holds a key in her right hand. She is wearing a pink sweater and a grey skirt, with black stiletto boots. Minxie reaches outside a officer door. The sign on the door reads; Willow Rosenberg. She looks around then sticks the key into the doorknob and opens it. Minxie slowly enters the office and shuts the door behind her.

Cut to:

INT - WATCHER’S COUNCIL/ WILLOW’S OFFICE - NIGHT

Minxie is sitting at Willow’s desk looking through files franticly. She then moves on to Willow’s laptop.

MINXIE: (to self) Come on Willow, what did you find?

Then a knock on the door breaks Minxie away from her work. She looks up to see a tall thin, man with a brown suit on standing in the threshold of the door.

MINXIE: Milton.

MILTON: (British accent) Someone named Rupert Giles is on his way to pick up Miss. Rosenberg’s belongings.

MINXIE: No, he can’t I’m not done yet.

MILTON: Why are you fretting over this? There’s no answer to what your looking for. Miss. Rosenberg went a little over board on the magic’s and put her self in a coma. She has a history of abusing magic.

MINXIE: No! Milton you didn’t see her, you didn’t see what I saw. That wasn’t just a overdose on magic. What I saw was pure evil, I mean I felt it. It ran through my body and that feeling hasn’t left me since that night. Something about this Demon Slayer line isn’t right and I’m gonna find out. Besides Willow disserves that.

MILTON: Minxie this is all ludicrous. What’s coming out of your mouth makes no since what so ever. I mean…

Milton continues to talk as something catches Minxie’s eyes. She looks down and discovers a plane ticket stub. Minxie picks it up and reads it. It’s a ticket to East Wick, Ohio. Minxie’s eyes lighten up.

MINXIE: Milton, shut up!

Milton stops with a angered look on his face.

MILTON: Excuse me?

MINXIE: Get the jet ready to a flight to East Wick, Ohio.

MILTON: Why?

MINXIE: Because I’m gonna find out what happened to Willow. The best place to go is where it happened. Call the Watcher their, Fredeth Jackson and tell him I’m coming in. Also get me a hotel.

MITLTON: Bu----

MINXIE: (yells) Just do it!

MILTON: OKAY!

Milton exit’s the office and shuts the door behind him. Minxie stands to her feet and closes Willow’s lap - top. She unhooks the cords and picks it up, placing it under her arm. Minxie quickly leaves the office.

CUT TO:

EXT - HELLMOUTH - DAY

We see a gang of bringers sitting in a circle chanting, The First who is in the figure of Alicia and is standing next to Alicia.

ALICIA: Are you sure this will work?

THE FIRST: Did you just ask me will it work. Hun, you make me laugh.

Alicia rolls her eyes.

ALICIA: It better! It will make my job a lot easier and can you please change your look?

THE FIRST: Nope. I like it.

cuts back to the ritual.

A bringers get up and walk into the middle of the circle. He takes out his knife and cuts his wrist then lets the blood drip. The droplets off the blood stops in mid air and opens a portal. The bringer steps back into the circle as two figures come shooting from the portal. The portal closes and we see two large demons who have mid -evil warrior armor on. The color of their skin is dark- orange, their eyes are red and horns are coming from their forehead. long black, ratty hair falls to the middle of their backs.

THE FIRST: (evil grin) Anymore questions?

CUT TO:

INT - MEG’S CLOTHING - DAY

We see Stacie looking through clothes racks while Steven stands beside her with his arms tight across his chest.

STEVEN: (angered) Stacie, why are we here? You were suppose to take me to Fredeth’s.

STACIE: Quit wining you baby, I’m almost done.

STEVEN: We’ve been here for an hour.

STACIE: Well I have to get these jeans.

STEVEN: It doesn’t take a damn hour to get jeans.

STACIE: They have to be the right ones. (pause) Like these.

Stacie pulls a pare of black jeans off the rack and spins around to Steven and hold them up.

STACIE: Are these cute?

STEVEN: (annoyed) They look like all your other jeans. Tight and slutty.

Stacie snarls at him.

STACIE: Just for that I’m trying them on.

STEVEN: (quickly reacts) No! I’m sorry.

Steven grabs her upper arm.

STEVEN: (begging) Please don’t. I’ve suffered enough.

STACIE: I don’t care!

Stacie pulls away from him and heads over to the dressing room. Steven lets out a loud sigh as he turns and heads over to one of the chairs by the dressing rooms. He flops into the chair as he buries his face in his hand. Couple of moments later Stacie exit’s the dressing room with a red two piece bathing suit, that shows all of her assets. Steven’s mouth drops, as he looks her up and down with pleasure.

STACIE: (adjusting her strap) How does this look?

STEVEN: (gulp) Good, but it’s in the middle of October and we are in Ohio. It’s cold out side. And I thought you were trying on jeans?

STACIE: I know that you big loser. Someone left it in the dressing room. It looks so damn cute on my nice body, right?

STEVEN: (clearing throat) Yes.

STACIE: I ’m getting it for this summer.

Suddenly a vibration sound breaks through their conversation. Steven looks down at his feet to see Stacie’s purse vibrating.

STEVEN: Stacie, your cell phone.

STACIE: (sighs) Must be Fredeth.

She makes her way over to her purse. As she does she slips and falls on to Steven’s lap.

STACIE: I’m sorry.

STEVEN: It’s fine.

The camera pans back to see Steven’s face inches from Stacie’s breast.

WOAMN’S VOICE O/S: Steven?

Steven turns as the camera whorls around to see Rebecca standing a few feet away.

STEVEN: (shocked) Rebecca!

CUT TO:

EXT - EAST WICK PARK - DAY

Noah and Casey are sprinting on a bike trail, they are racing each other. Their feet pound against the pavement as they rip through the fall wind. Noah begins to move ahead of Casey.

NOAH: (cocky smirk) You’re slow! You don’t have these strong and powerful legs!

CASEY: (smirk) No you don’t have these legs.

Casey then leaps up in the air extending her arm grabbing a tree branch above. She swings her body branch to branch. She looks down to see that she has passed Noah. Casey swings on the last branch and goes into several flips. She lands back on the path, now several feet a head of Noah. Casey continues to run.

NOAH: (yells) Hey, not fare! You used your slayer strength!

CUT TO:

EXT - EAST WICK PARK/ PARKING LOT - NIGHT

Casey and Noah are sitting on the hood of Noah’s jeep drinking bottled water and talking.

NOAH: That wasn’t fair you totally cheated.

CASEY: No, not really. I was just….

NOAH: Cheated.

CASEY: (laughs) I guess. (pause) So…. Noah King, tell me something about your self.

NOAH: (smile) Like what?

CASEY: I don’t know. Family, friends, favorite color, or favorite ice cream. Ya’ know.

NOAH: Well my favorite ice cream is Moose Track and color is black. (joking) There you go, that’s all you need to now.

CASEY: (laughs) Tell me something serious like you and Fredeth’s relationship?

NOAH: There’s really nothing to talk about.

CASEY: Okay… then what about your father or mother. You never talk about them.

NOAH: (defensive) What about them?

The vibe turns cold.

CASEY: Noah your not really giving me anything to run off of. I’m trying to get to know you and your kinda shutting me down.

NOAH: (raised voice) Theirs nothing to know!

Noah slides off the hood of he’s jeep.

NOAH: Casey, lets go.

CASEY: What?! I was just trying to get to know you better. You never tell me anything. Your so secretive.

NOAH: (yells) C’mon were leaving!

CASEY: (snaps) I’ll walk!

Casey slides off the hood and storms off leaving Noah standing their alone.

CUT TO:

INT - MEG’S CLOTHING - DAY

Steven quickly jumps to his feet as Stacie falls to the floor with a thump.

STEVEN: Rebecca, hi.

STACIE: (angry) Ouch! That hurt!

Stacie stands to her feet as she pulls a weggy out.

STACIE: You made me get a weggy. (points to Rebecca) Who is she?

STEVEN: (uneasy) This is Rebecca.

Rebecca gives Stacie a brief wave.

STACIE: Oh! This is the girl you’ve been talking about all the time….. Aw, she’s cute.

REBECCA: Talking about me all the time?

STACIE: Yeah, he really likes you.

Steven shoots Stacie a dirty look.

REBECCA: (catty) And you are?

Stacie realizes what just accord.

STACIE: (embarrassed) Oh no! Not me and him if that’s what your thinking. First off (looks at Steven) Yuck, and second off, that was a trip. I wasn’t sitting on his lap for pleasure.

STEVEN: (grind teeth) Stacie, shut up.

STACIE: Okay! I’m done.

She runs into the dressing room. Steven looks over Rebecca who is standing there with a smile.

STEVEN: (confused) Why are you laughing aren’t you mad?

REBECCA: (laughing) No. Just looking at you two…. I know there is no attraction there what so ever.

STEVEN: (lightens up) Oh.

He makes his way over to her and gives her a warm hug. They break apart and stare into each others eyes for a moment.

STEVEN: So… how was your day?

REBECCA: Fine, I just came from Grinds my mom let me off early.

STEVEN: Cool.(pause; nerves) I was thinking maybe later on tonight we can grab a bite to eat.

REBECCA: (smirk) Did you just ask me out on a date?

STEVEN: I guess if you put it that way.

REBECCA: Then yes I will go.

STEVEN: (smile) Good.

Suddenly screams from the front of the store break out. Steven looks over Rebecca’s shoulder to see two demons (the demons that The First and Bringers just conjured) entering.

Rebecca turns around to see them also.

REBECCA: What are those?

STEVEN: (worried) Demons!

One of the demons spots Steven and anger grows across the demons features.

DEMON#1: The Camarin is ours!

STEVEN: What?

It charges through the store knocking over anything it comes in contact with. Demon #2 follows behind Demon#1. Demon#1 leaps at Steven. Steven moves out of the way as Demon#1 crashes into a wrack of shoes. Demon#2 looks over at Rebecca who looks terrified. She opens her hand and generates a fire ball in her palm. The demon charges and Rebecca throws the fire ball. The fire ball whizzes pass Demon#2’s head and smashes into a wrack of clothes. Demon#2 reaches Rebecca and grabs her by her neck. She gasps for air as she gets lifted off the ground.

REBECCA: (muffled; gasp) Steven!

Steven kicks Demon#1 back onto the ground. He looks back at Rebecca who is struggling to breath.

FLASHBACK

EXT - GRAVE YARD - NIGHT

The vampire grabs Fredeth by the neck violently and lifts him off the ground.

FREDETH: (choking) HELP! Stev--

END OF FLASHBACK

INT - MEG’S CLOTHING - DAY

Steven picks up a shoe that is lying on the floor and throws it at Demon#2’s head who has Rebecca by the throat. Demon#2 drops Rebecca to the floor.

STEVEN: (to Rebecca; yells) Rebecca, run!

Rebecca stands to her feet as she gasp for air. Demon#1 gets up to it’s feet, he’s revealed behind Steven.

REBECCA: (out of breath) Steven, behind you!

Steven turns around to catch Demon#1’s punch then head butting Demon#1. It stumbles back holding is head in pain. Steven leaps in the air tornado kicking Demon#1 to the ground, knocking it out cold. Rebecca takes off running out the store and down the street. Stacie comes rushing out of the dressing room looking confused. She looks around.

STACIE: What the hell happened?!

STEVEN: Demons, lets go!

Steven and Stacie head for the stores emergency exit. As they reach the door, Demon#2 grabs Steven by the shoulder spinning him around. Demon#2 raises his hand and punches Steven across the face, sending him flying across the store. Demon#1 snatches Stacie by her jacket and throws her across the store and crashing on top of the check out counter.

END OF ACT I

ACT II

INT - FREDETH'S APARTMENT/ TRAINING ROOM - NIGHT

Casey is sitting on the mats stretching her legs. She is wearing black sweat pant, and a gray fitted sports braw. The door opens and Noah enters the room. They both look at each other but Casey rolls her eyes in annoyance and looks away.

NOAH: Casey, can I talk to you?

Casey gets up and begins to stretch her arms.

CASEY: (cert) I don't know, can you?

NOAH: Yeah, I can and I want to.

CASEY: Fine. Shoot.

NOAH: (sighs) The reason why I didn't tell you about my parents is because they're dead.

Casey stops stretching and looks up at Noah with a sympathetic face.

NOAH: They were murdered. My father was a Watcher. Him and Fredeth worked together. They were really close and then my dad was shipped to New York City where he had to watch over a potential slayer. Who was my mother, they fell in love and my dad quit the Watcher's Council to raise Stacie and I and take care of our mother. When Stacie and I were freshmen in high school our house was ransacked by demons who killed our parents. Stacie and I were left for dead but we made it.

Cut to Casey eyes are teary and mouth quivering.

NOAH: Fredeth came to the states and took us in as his own. Through out high school I rebelled a lot and was kicked out of seven schools. Then Fredeth figured where I can channel my anger. Fighting, so that's what I did. He trained me as a slayer and we've been with him ever since. I love him for that, he's like a father to me. (correction) He is my father and I love him. The reason why I didn't want to tell you because I didn't want to seem weak and I --

CASEY: (cut Noah off) Noah, you're far from weak. You don't have to explain anything and I'm extremely sorry for acting prude.

NOAH: Casey, you weren't being a prude. I just went all defensive mode and over board with it.

Casey gives Noah a soft smile.

NOAH: Now, you know a lot about me that I would never tell anyone.

CASEY: That makes me feel special.

NOAH: Good, because you are special. Now what about your past?

Casey sits down on the mat India style. Noah walks over to Casey and sits down across from her.

CASEY: Well I from Albany, New York, my dad is a priest -------

Her voice trails off as the camera move back out of the room, leaving the two alone talking.

FADE OUT:

INT - FREDETH'S APARTMENT/ DINING ROOM TABLE - NIGHT

Fredeth is sitting at the table looking through a book. The front door opens, Steven and Stacie enters. They are battered and bruised.

Fredeth looks up from the book then quickly stands to his feet at the sight of them.

FREDETH: (shocked) What happened!

Fredeth quickly exit's the dining room and enters the living room. He helps Stacie to the couch.

FREDETH: What happened!?

STEVEN: (sitting to the couch) We were attacked at the store by two demons.

CUT TO:

INT - DINING ROOM - NIGHT

Steven, Fredeth, Stacie, Noah and Casey are sitting around the table.

FREDETH: What did the demon say?

STEVEN: Something about Camarin. What is that?

FREDETH: Sounds very familiar.

STACIE: Yeah, it does.

FREDETH: Camarin?. Camarin? damn! I know what that is.

STACIE: Hmmm (unsure) It means something with the balance between good and evil, I think. Last time we did research I saw something in one of the books.

Books are scattered over the dining room table. Stacie moves them around looking for the book.

STACIE: This one.

She pulls a large brown book out from under a pile of stakes and weapons. She hands it to Fredeth.

STACIE: You need to clean this table off.

FREDETH: This apartment is getting to small for all these damn weapons and books.

Fredeth begins to flip through the pages. Moments later he then stops at a page.

FREDETH: Got it. Stace, your right. Camarin is a book of good and evil.

STEVEN: Good and Evil?

FREDETH: The book is good and evil. It was conjured with both magic?s.

CASEY: (confused) What? I don't get it, both magic's?

STACIE: It means that good or evil can use the book. The book isn't prejudice to good or the evil magic's.

NOAH: So?. where is this book?

Fredeth reads on.

FREDETH: It's in a different dimension called? Htob. It's a dimension that's neutral with good and evil. The book was placed there by gods to prevent fighting over it. For ages creatures of all kind have attempted to get their hands on the book.

STEVEN: Both! It's both spelled backwards.

FREDETH: (confused) What is?

STEVEN: Htob!

STACIE: (under breath) Scramble freak.

FREDETH: We need to get that book.

CASEY: How? Open the dimension?

FREDETH: Exactly. We're going to open a portal, one leading directly into Htob. We need that book before someone who is evil gets their hands on it. (to Stacie) What did the demon look like?

STACIE: They were ugly, big, orange, red eyes, long black hair and horns from the forehead.

STEVEN: And I took this from one of them when Stacie and I escape.

Steven pulls out a necklace that has a medallion hanging from it. Fredeth picks it up and studies it closely.

FREDETH: This symbol on here dates back to the dark ages. This demon is extinct. They're Calarkins

NOAH: Then why in the hell are they walking around in 2003?

FREDETH: The only thing that could have the power to resurrect them would be The First.

STEVEN: And he's using them to get the book.

CASEY: If the book isn't evil or good, why can't The First just get the book it?s self. Why does he have to use ancient demons to do it?

Fredeth shrugs.

FREDETH: I have no clue. But we need that book.

CASEY: How are we going to open the portal to the dimension? And who's going in? We really don't know what's on the other side.

FREDETH: That's why Stacie is going to do some research on Htob and make sure its safe for humans to enter. Meanwhile?.. I have two people willing to do it.

Fredeth looks over to Steven and Noah with a smirk.

FREDETH: You two.

Steven's mouth drops.

STEVEN: (annoyed) With him?

FREDETH: Yup.

NOAH: Hell no!

Noah stands up to his feet.

NOAH: Fredeth, I'm not doing this!

FREDETH: Yes, you are.

NOAH: (yells) No, I'm not!

FREDETH: Noah, it's not that serious.

Noah storms off. The room is silent and awkward for a moment.

FREDETH: (breaks silent) Since Mr. cry baby doesn't want to do it. Casey, will you be willing to do it?

CASEY: Yeah, no problem.

FREDETH: Good, I want you and Steven in the training room before you two go.

STEVEN: Okay.

FREDETH: I have to go to the airport. We have a guest coming in.

STACIE: (intrigued) Who? Is it a boy!?

FREDETH: (giggles) No, It's Minxie Reuben. Remember Willow's intern?

STACIE: (disappointed) Oh.

STEVEN: Yeah, the hot one.

FREDETH: (snickers at Steven's comment) She's coming for a couple weeks to follow up on how the Demon Slayer is developing. So just let her do her job and stay out the way.

CASEY: You got it.

FREDETH: All of you get to work.

Fredeth exit's the apartment.

CUT TO:

INT - FREDETH'S APARTMENT/ TRAINING ROOM - DAY

Steven is now dressed in sweat pants and shirt. He is on the floor stretching his quadriceps as Casey is standing across the room, stretching her calves. She is know dressed in gray sweat pants and a white tank top.

CASEY: This will be our first time training together?

STEVEN: Yeah I know. I can't wait until Fredeth lets me handle the Sickle.

CASEY: Doubt that.

STEVEN: Why?

CASEY: It's too powerful. Also I'm pretty sure he's going to look into the sickle's history before he lets you handle it.

STEVEN: Well, that sucks. I felt powerful and tough with that petal in my hands.

CASEY: (giggles) I'm sure you did.

Then the door opens and Noah enters with his game face on. Casey stares as he makes his way over to Steven, she knows something is up.

NOAH: Hey, Steven.

STEVEN: Yeah?

NOAH: (grin) Well I was figuring maybe I'd changed my mind about not going with you in Htob. I was acting foolish. Maybe we can be cool?

STEVEN: (confused) Sure.

NOAH: Hey maybe for us to get to know each other better we should spar?

STEVEN: Uhh.. I don't know, man.

A confusing look grows over Steven's face as he stands to his feet.

NOAH: (extends hand for hand shake) C'mon, we're cool.

Steven shakes Noah's hand.

STEVEN: (unsure) Sure.

NOAH: Okay.

Noah punches Steven square in the face.

BLACK OUT

END OF ACT II

ACT III

CASEY: (yells) NOAH!

Steven staggers back holding his nose. He shakes the pain away and looks up at Noah who has a devious grin on his face.

STEVEN: (angered) What the hell?!

Steven throws a punch but Noah ducks as Steven fist goes over his head.

NOAH: You worthless piece of shit your supposed to be a Demon Slayer? Yeah right!

Steven throws another punch but Noah dodges it then punches Steven across the face.

NOAH: (taunting) Come on bitch!

Noah throws another punch and Steven catches his fist.

STEVEN: What the hell?..

Steven punches Noah in the ribs.

STEVEN: Is wrong??

Punches Noah across the face.

STEVEN: With you!

Steven upper cuts Noah sending him across the room hitting the padded wall.

CASEY: (yells) Guys Stop!

Steven storms over to Noah and pulls him to his feet.

STEVEN: (yells; furious) Mistake fighting a Demon Slayer, huh?

Steven throws Noah across the room, Noah hit's the padded floor.

STEVEN: You can't last with me Noah! You don't have my strength you're a pathetic wanna be.

Steven makes his way over to Noah who is on all fours trying to stand to his feet. Steven gives Noah a good kick to the ribs, sending across the room, crashing into the weapons closet.

CASEY: (yells) Stop!

Casey runs over and stops Steven before he reaches Noah again.

CASEY: Steven, calm down! Back up!

Casey has her hands on Steven's chest pushing him away from Noah who is moaning in pain on the floor. Steven is breathing heavily and his jaw is clinched with anger.

CASEY: Calm!

Stacie burst in the room franticly looking around. She runs over to Noah's aid.

STACIE: What the happened to him!?

Casey turns away from Steven:

CASEY: (pointing at Noah: angered) Something is wrong with your brother!

Casey turns back to Steven and escorts him out the room. Stacie looks down at Noah who is moaning in pain, holding his nose.

STACIE: (whispers to self; sympathetic) Noah, what's wrong with you?

FADE TO:

EXT - AIR PORT - NIGHT

Minxie exit's the airport and onto the side walk. She is pulling along a pink, roller suitcase. A black van pulls up to the curb, Fredeth climbs out. He approaches Minxie as he sticks out his hand out.

FREDETH: How are you Miss Reuben, it's nice to have you back.

Minxie shakes his hand.

MINXIE: (smile) You can call me Minxie and it's good to be back.

Fredeth takes her suitcase and places it into the back of the van. Then he opens the passenger door for her, she climbs in. Fredeth runs around to the driver side and climbs in, they pull off.

CUT TO:

INT - FREDETH'S APARTMENT/ LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Fredeth enters to see Stacie balled up on the love seat with her feet tucked under her body. She looks up at Fredeth as she is nervously bites her finger nails. Fredeth looks to the left to see Noah leaned up against the wall holding a ice pack to his face. Then Steven and Casey who are sitting on the couch. The room is silent and filled with tension.

FREDETH: What happened?

They don't say anything. Minxie enters from behind Fredeth, she stops.

FREDETH: (yells) WHAT HAPPENED!?

Everyone in the room jumps from the power of Fredeth's yell!

CASEY: (to Fredeth) Noah went all nuts on Steven. Steven defended him self.

Fredeth looks over to Noah.

FREDETH: Is this true?

Noah looks up at Fredeth with no words.

FREDETH: (holding back anger) Noah answer me, NOW!

NOAH: (stands to his feet; to Fredeth; yells) What the hell do you think!

FREDETH: (sighs; angered) Everyone leave the room. Casey can you feel in our guest on what's going on as I talk to these two idiots.

CASEY: Yeah, no problem.

Minxie walks past Fredeth and over to Stacie and Casey. They exit the room and head into the back of the apartment.

CUT:

INT - FREDETH'S APARTMENT/ FREDETH'S OFFICE - NIGHT

Casey, Minxie, then Stacie enters.

CASEY: Sorry about that.

MINXIE: It's fine I grew up with four brothers. It's just male testosterone. (giggles) They'll get over it.

Stacie makes her way over to Fredeth's desk and plops down in his seat.

STACIE: I second that.

MINIXIE: So how are you two ladies doing?

CASEY: Good.

STACIE: (joking) Sexy like always.

MINXIE: (laughing) Confidence, I like that.

CASEY: More like big headed.

STACIE: (fake smile) Very funny.

(Pause)

MINXIE: So what do you guys have to fill me in on? Can I help?

CASEY: Yeah, maybe.

STACIE: Today Steven and I were attacked at a clothing store by demons. They were tall and ugly --

CUT TO:

INT - FREDETH'S APARTMENT/ LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Fredeth is standing in the middle of the room as Noah stands in the corner with his arms firmly over his chest. Across the room Steven is sitting on the couch looking down at the floor.

FREDETH: (yelling; furious) What the hell is wrong with you two!

Steven lifts his head up.

STEVEN: (points at Noah) He started it!

FREDETH: (yelling) I don't care! You two are suppose to be working together and your acting like idiots.

Fredeth turns to Noah.

FREDETH: (yell) Lay another finger on Steven and I'll break them! (still looking at Noah) Steven leave the room.

Steven gets up and exit's the room.

Fredeth storms over to Noah and snatches him up by his shirt and slams him against the wall. Noah stands there and takes it.

FREDETH: (whisper; angered) I don't know who the hell you think you are. Walking around here like your big and bad. Guess what, YOUR NOT!

Fredeth gives him one more slam against the wall. They stare at each other with anger and fury. Noah storms off. Fredeth takes in a breath to calm him self down.

CUT TO:

INT - FREDETH'S APARTMENT/LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Casey is sitting on the love seat studying the necklace that Steven took from the demon. Minxie and Steven are kneeling down setting a ritual up in the middle of the floor. Fredeth enters the room.

FREDETH: I got in contact with him.

Casey looks up at Fredeth and Minxie stands to her feet.

MINXIE : When is he coming?

CASEY: And who is this guy?

A swirl of lights begins to build up right next to Minxie. Minxie steps back as the swirls begin to mold a human figure.

MINXIE: (smile) Teleportation.

Noah enters the room as the light fades away and it reveals a tall African American, young man. He looks around the room then his eyes stop on Fredeth:

YOUNG MAN: (British accent) Hi dad.

FREDETH: (smile) Son.

NOAH: (excited) Marty what's up, man.

Noah walks up to Marty and they hug.

NOAH: (break apart) Wow.

MARTY: Nothing much.

Marty then runs over to his dad embracing Fredeth in a hug.

MARTY: Hey, dad!

FREDETH: It's been awhile.

They break apart and Fredeth takes a step back and looks his son up and down.

FREDETH: (laughing; joyfully) You've gotten tall.

Steven gets up from the couch.

STEVEN: (confused) Wait? you have a son?

CASEY: You didn't tell me about him, Fredeth.

Marty turns around towards Steven, Casey, and Minxie

FREDETH: This is my son Martel Jackson.

MARTY: (corrects Fredeth) Marty.

Marty approaches them.

MARTY: (putting hand out) Nice to meet you three.

They shake his hand. As he shakes Minxie's hand he gives her a charming smile and she gives one back.

STEVEN: ( to Fredeth) So this is the mystery man that is going to help us?

FREDETH: Yes.

CASEY: Not to be mean but why you?

MARTY: I'm a warlock, opening portals is my specialty.

CASEY: Okay, I see.

NOAH: Let's get this party started then.

Stacie enters the living room holding a bottled water in her hand. She then spots Marty, her eyes widen.

STACIE: (excited) Oh my god! Marty!

Stacie drops the bottled water and runs over to Marty, jumping in his arms, wrapping her legs around his waist.

MARTY: (laughing) Stacie!

Stacie hops back onto the floor. They step apart, Stacie gives Marty a kiss on the cheek.

STACIE: God, I missed you.

MARTY: I missed you too.

STACIE: (looks back at Fredeth) This is the guy you were getting to open the portal?

FREDETH: (smile) Yes.

Looks back at Marty.

STACIE: (excited) Yay!

ACT IV

INT - FREDETH'S APARTMENT/LIVINGROOM - NIGHT

Everyone is standing in a circle. Marty is holding a old brown book, he has it opened to a page. Beside him stands Stacie who is holding a wooden box filled with sand. Beside her stands Casey and Steven who are both holding knives. Noah and Fredeth are holding spiders in a jar and Minxie is holding a jar with a garden snake in side.

MARTY: Listen guys. After I say the spell all of you throw your trades into the circle.

NOAH: Do we just throw the whole jar in?

MARTY: Yeah. Everyone ready?

STEVEN: Yep.

Marty closes his eyes and takes in a deep breath.

MARTY: (clears throat) Pupillus , patefacio ops plumbum nos ut balineum of Htob. Exsisto nostrum plumbum via , exsisto nostrum rector. EGO precor vestrum.

A gust of wind blows through the apartment. Marty's eyes shoot open.

MARTY: (eyes turn pitch black) Patefacio, obvius, obviam, expositus, directus, aperio!
NOW!

Stacie throws the box in the circle, Casey and Steven cut their hands with the knives then throws them in the circle. Fredeth and Noah throws the jars in, following them Minxie's jar. The items float in mid air in the middle of the circle. They begin to spin quickly. The items merge together into a bright white light. The light expands throwing everyone to the ground. The light turns into a large windy portal. Steven stands to his feet then looks over at Casey who stands to her feet.

CASEY: Ready?

Steven looks at the portal then back at Casey.

STEVEN: Not really.

The front door burst open and in comes the demons that Stacie and Steven ran into earlier. They run over to Steven, grabbing him by the shirt. Minxie stands to her feet not knowing what to do. Steven punches Demon #1 across the face Steven throws another punch but the demon catches his fist then tosses him across the room. Steven smashes into Minxie and they fall to the ground. The two demons jump into the portal. Portal closes behind them.

STACIE: What the hell!

CASEY: That wasn't supposed to happen!

Noah goes over and helps Marty to his feet. Steven and Minxie stands to theirs.

MINXIE: (mad) Damnit! If they get that book we're done.

STACIE: What's exactly is in that book that's having us so scared?

FREDETH: We don't really now but it's important and it can help us with this battle with The First.

STEVEN: Then obviously it can help them too and from the looks to it they wanted that book as badly as we did.

FREDETH: This was all a trick. The First got us to open the portal so it can use those demons to get the book of Camarin.

STACIE: (to Marty) Can't you just open the portal back up and we can go get them

MARTY: No, they have to find the book first. The book has the spell to return back.

CASEY: So if they get the book?

MARTY: The Calarkin demons will return back with the book. Giving all access to The First.

CASEY: (worried) We can't do anything?

MARTY: Just sit and wait. I can stay here a while and we can do a tracking spell. The next time they open the portal we can locate them then get the book.

STACIE: So, we just wait it out?

MARTY: Yup.

MINXIE: This is really bad.

CUT TO:

INT - GRINDS - NIGHT

Rebecca is cleaning off some tables as Steven enters. She looks up to see him as approaches her. She wipes her hands on her apron that she is wearing.

REBECCA: Hey.

STEVEN: (nerves) Hi. I came to see if your alright. I know what you saw today was?.

REBECCA: (finish sentence) Crazy, yeah. I was terrified I never really saw a demon up close like that before. My mom always kept that life away from me. That demon was so viscous and evil and I have that running through my veins. It scars me to death thinking about it.

Walks closer to Rebecca.

STEVEN: No, no you're not like them at all. Never compare your self to something that evil and degrading. Rebecca you're not like them.

REBECCA: (teary eyed) Why not? Because I don't look like them. I still have their blood within me. I can never escape that.

STEVEN: Listen, I think every one has a choice no matter what they are. You might be half demon and I still love you. I love the fact that you made the choice to fight on the good team. Just because your half demon doesn't mean you are one.

REBECCA: (crying) I don't know who I am, Steven. I'm so confused, I've lived with this all my life and it's a curse.

STEVEN: (whispering) It's okay.

The Camera moves back slowly out of Grinds

FADE TO BLACK

INT- ALICIA'S CONDO/ BALCONY - NIGHT

OPEN TO

We see Alicia standing looking over the town with her hands crossed over her chest. Alicia takes in a deep breath.

WOMAN'S VOICE: How does it feel to be human?

Alicia turns around to see The First who in the form of her.

ALICIA: It's pretty nice, I actually love-- (sighs; annoyed) Why in the hell do you look like me?

THE FIRST: I'm sorry; this body is just (it looks down at it's breast) It has great proportions.

ALICIA: Yeah, you've said that crap before. I don't like it, change it.

THE FIRST: (ignores Alicia) Guess what my butter cup? The plan worked, now it's time for you to take your place

ALICIA: (smile devious) Really? I'm excited.

THE FIRST: You should be, I've invested a lot of work in this plan. So like they say. (transforms into Willow) Let the games begin.
