"So, you can go back in time?" asked Veronica. Her mind flicked inevitably to Lilly.
Hiro nodded. He seemed to understand. "But I can't alter events. So?your friend will still be dead. Sorry."
"There's always a pesky catch," said Veronica.
"But?I can help you. Find out who did it?"
Veronica smiled. "Sassy teen girl with a time travelling sidekick? It's like Doctor Who, backwards."
"You know Doctor Who?" Hiro beamed in delight. "Oooh! This could be beginning of beautiful friendship!"
