After season three, seeing how it ended..it looks like there may be some potential for that storyline. It certainly adds layer to his character, imo. He's such a tortured soul with so many inherent flaws and having to grapple with the fact that he is a father could be interesting.

I LOVED finding out that Sawyer was a Daddy!! It was probably one of my favorite Sawyer moment of LOST!

It only serve to deepen the character further - just peeling those layers back one at a time... (Hmmm... kinda like Spike!)

Presumably he went into the foster care system. It would be nice to get some clarification on that. I doubt he was adopted by another family; he was probably shuffled around from one place to another.

Could be that will be answered in a future episode. But knowing this set of writers, it is just the piece of the puzzle to leave out so that you cannot completely see the whole picture. That piece would be the one YOU the viewer provide to the story.

I thought it was touching that he has a daughter. And that he put that money in a bank for her just goes to the heart of why I love Sawyer. He's not perfect, but he has a good heart - when it counts....
