Episode 2.03 - "Mousetrap"

Ah alot better then episode 2, at LESS confusing as to what was going on.

I forgot how much I like Cromartie. I just am so amazed by him and the actor who plays him, he really just plays with such pazzaz it's not even funny! He does this thing with his face where he slightly moves it and it shows such emotion. Even though I like the character, I don't think watching him every other week chasing John will be interesting. I do hope he and Weaver hook up to cause some REAL damage!

And talking about Weaver. Damn, she is just again wow. I am so interested in her character, we don't get very much, but just enough to know she is more then just a Terminator. I like how she talked about her brother and her late husband. It just keeps me wondering what is true and what is false. Did she have a husband? Has she been working for YEARS to try and bring this all together? Was she around when the first Terminator attacked Sarah? Just makes me wonder.

I felt so bad for Dixion and his wife Michelle. I was really hoping she would live and I am kinda angry she died. Sarah was such a bitch this episode, it is her fault Michelle is dead. If she had just taken a second to maybe be a person Michelle wouldn't have had to force herself to keep walking and in the end dieing... It will be interesting to see how Dixion handles all this and he kinda looks like he may just turn on John and Sarah, something that could turn into a very devious plot twist!

Question: What happend to Riley!? When Cameron confronted her I was like... damn, is Riley gunna go all terminator like everyone else on the show? I wanna know what happend!!! I want to know if her and Cameron made a deal, or something like that. I mean, it could be anything and I can't wait to see what happends.

The series really has me on the edge of my seat, so many things are going at once but it seems like everyone has such a cool storyline going on. Well I wish they would do more with Reese... At the moment I don't understand what his purpose is except to be a jerk. I say we need more flashbacks, but thats hard to do (from what the DVD has told us) but they gotta do SOMETHING with him. At the moment it just seems like they just want Brian Austin Green, I hope we get some fuller storylines.

I also wanna say I really like that they story isn't ONLY John and Sarah, and that all the supporting characters are just as interesting. That was one thing I was afraid of for season 2. There is only so much John and Sarah that can be done, so its great that the rest of the cast has been able to hold its own.

also... i miss sarah's voice over for the opening thing... that dude just does not do it for me. like ive said, it doesn't have the same chilling effect...

I only caught the last 30 minutes of the show (got into a car accident on the way home, of course, couldn't happen on a Tuesday when all I'd miss is Fringe, right?) but I really liked it. I'm looking forward to watching the whole thing online.

Also, I don't think it's Sarah's fault at all that Michelle died! I would have liked to see her not die (I was really expecting a flash to the future where it is revealed she becomes a resistance leader) but John takes precedent over her and she and Dixon should have stayed behind and waited for Sarah to send somebody, just like Sarah said.

I'll talk more when I've seen the whole episode.

I liked that the episode got back to the "oh yeah, they're trying to kill John" thing -- I mean, the one with Cameron had that, but it was mostly played for the Cameron being a villain thing. Cromartie is a great enemy. I'd really love to know whether he and Shirley Manson even know about each other.

Feel bad for Charlie, and I guess he'll maybe want to either stay involved with Sarah's people now, or join Ellison as he tries to get to the truth.

Most interesting moment for me? Shirley Manson sipping water. I guess she just... shoves it out her armpit or something discreetly?

I liked it, a lot. It had action, suspense, drama, good acting all around, and did a good job of showing that while John will one day be the future leader he still has a long ways to go before he gets there. The way the show is going right now it's pretty clear that John and Sarah need to find a middle ground on how they view him. He's not the man yet like he now wants to think, but at the same time he's not a defenseless kid like his mom wants to think. As long as the two of them continue to believe in those two complete opposites you will get scenarios like last night where there pigheadedness results in John being in danger.

Did she actually sip? I thought she was just holding the glass to her lips then putting it down again. I didn't check closely enough to see if the water level had actually dropped before and after, though...

Still, it should be simplicity itself for a T-1001 to create a hollow inside itself to store water, if it had to.

I don't think she sipped. I think that was the reason why kept showing the glass. Maybe she did drink it though, you are right that it would be easy for the T-1001 to store water.
