  • Prison Break - Season 4 (spoilers!)

    SPOILERS!

Fantastic episode, the premiere, IMO. I really think we're back to the old quality.

    Things I Loved:

    - WHISTLER'S DEAD!!!! YES!!!!
    - Susan's "supposed" death was extremely well done, although I'm a bit disappointed to see her alive,
    - Mahone's family being killed and his hallucinations
    - Sara/Michael scenes were very nice
    - Sara fraking out
    - Roland is just cool
    - The whole storyline
    - The new characters: Wyatt and Donald Self are both very nice
    - I loved it when they had to "break in"
    - European gold finch.net!
    - Most of the scenes

    Things I Disliked:

    - The extremely convenient break-out of Sona.
    - How Lincoln could've run away with L.J. and Sofia, but, again, conveniently, decided to get caught after running all that time in Season 2.
    - How the cops approached and asked Michael's name and he just let himself be arrested. He's been running this whole time, and he couldn't have lied and said his name was something else? What?
    - T-Bag. Is whole storyline was a waste in this episode, IMO. Yeah, he's evil. Yeah, he's a cannibal. He's a bad guy. We get it. Did we really need all those scenes where they did nothing but walk?

    Overall, really, really good.

Well I have to say that this episode was really good.

    Spoiler:
The thing is Gretchen' fake death was planned in a great way, but it sucked because I knew she wasnt dead because I saw her in the promo pictures, this season. I really like her and I cant wait to get more of her next episode. Mahone's family dying was so disturbing and unsettling to me. I just hate when I see a mother and her child getting murder. Even though it's good TV it's just not my cup of tea.

SARA!!! I'm so happy she's back and I love how she's getting stronger off her horrid flashbacks of Gretchen whipping her. I hope Sara kicks Gretchen's ass later this season. I love the whole storyline of them bringing down the company. I love how everyone brings something useful to the table. I love the space that their in! I LOVE IT ALL!

This season opener was good! KUDOS!

I'm with you. It's definitely better than season three. And I like that there is a mission that doesn't involve breaking out of prison or running. They actually have to win their freedom. And it's cool, I think, to see Mahone and Bellick and Michael and Sucre and everyone...having to work together. Neat.

      Gretchen/Susan? Yeah, obvious that
      Spoiler:
she was still alive. The didn't actually show her being killed so I kinda figured.

Well...Whistler was in the promo pics too.

Also, I love Michael Rapaport so I was excited that he was going to be in the season. He's really cool given the right material.

Anyway, it was a fun premiere and I am happy that watching it didn't feel like a chore...like much of season two and three felt to me. I hope it keeps it up.

And also yeah...I'm sick of T-Bag. He's become a laughable villain. SO I hope he is one of the casualties in this coming season.

Well, I don't want him to be killed off, I just want him to have a good storyline. In Season 3, he had nothing and he was so dumb. Now, he's a stranded cannibal? COME ON. If they can't think of anything else for him, well yeah, then kill him. But, these writers must have something coming for us.

Personally, I want Bellick to die a slow, horrible, painful death He's sooo boring, dumb, and....dumb.

I couldn't agree more! I'm so glad that for once I was actually interested in the storyline of the show again, watching season 3 definitely felt like a chore to me, I found it so boring and unoriginal. But now that the show has a new premise, it might actually get good again. Also, I absolutely hated how they "killed off" Sara in season 3 so I'm of course overjoyed that she is back. The scene were Michael and Sara saw each other again for the first time actually made me cry and reminded me why I was a Michael/Sara shipper in the first place. I also like that Sara is so full of angst and pretty screwed up because of all the torture by the company, I think there will be some interesting drama in store for both Michael and Sara because of it.

And also yeah...I'm sick of T-Bag. He's become a laughable villain. SO I hope he is one of the casualties in this coming season.
Agreed. I was so hoping that he would get killed off in this season premiere but alas no such luck. His storyline in season 3 was ridiculous and it looks like they are going the same route with his character this season. / sigh

I was also annoyed that Gretchen wasn't killed off (although I knew that she wouldn't be) because she irritates me to no end.

I really like the idea of Michael, Linc, Sara, Sucre, Bellick and Mahone having to live together and having to plan and execute this whole steal company cards operation. That might make for some action-packed episodes in the next episodes to come.

So overall, a good start to the new season and already so much better than any season 3 episode!
