  • Favorite Terminator

So after re-watching the T:SCC DVD, I went and watched the three Terminator movies. And well... There are so pretty cool Terminators that have poped up.

So, who has been your favorite?

I gotta go with T-1000 from Terminator 2. Being able to turn all liquid and stuff freaked me out so much and was just so cool. I thought the actor was perfect and he really just nailed the part. Now I doubt we'll see stuff like this on the series due to budgets...

yeah i know i spelled cameron's name wrong... i had alot of trouble getting that poll to work for some reason...

I agree that the T-1000 is the best of the Terminators. It just has the most diverse range of ways to destroy and infiltrate (which, afterall, is the primary function of the Terminator -- infiltration).

Cameron would probably be #2 pick. Although this is mostly based on the pilot when she was able to flawlessly simulate human interaction and even to *eat*, both of which are traits that were annoying and inexplicably dropped after that.

T-X has the widest range of toys, but I just had trouble caring because that movie was so lame compared to the others.

I don't think the distinctions between the T-800s (all Arnold) and the T-888s (Vic, Cromartie) are big enough to say one is better than the other.

Well we see her act more human when she talking to teachers. Like when her and John go on the field trip to the musuem (the season finale I think) and I think she just turns it on and off.

As for eating, she does eat pancakes later on in the season as well.

Ahaha, yeah. She was pretty cool and I would love for a T-X to come and fight Cameron sometime in the future. That would be alot of fun!

I think its interesting that Vic and Cromartie are able to fit in ALOT better then Arnold was able to. He just killed and killed, but I guess that was his mission... But I love the idea of Vic being able to have an entire life almost and it makes you think that ANYONE can be a Terminator really.

I picked the first one, Schwarzenegger, mostly because the poll asked for my 'favorite' terminator, and in the sense of he's the one I prefer to see blowing everybody away as the original, he'd be my favorite.

If I had to choose which was the 'best' I'd go with the T-1000, because that was just wicked-cool.

Though, I Cameron the most due to the fact that she seems to be developing a 'personality' of sorts and we're getting to know her the best....

T-1000, for sure. And what adds to the coolness is Robert Patrick because he portrays the model so well. The way he moves, the way he speaks, the subtle barely-changing facial responses. So cool. Plus, the effects were killer. Even by today's standards, T2 still holds really well against a lot of CGI effects that are produced today. And a lot of movies made back around 1992 cant say them same. Well, Jurassic Park still holds up well too!

I love SUmmer Glau, but the T-1000 was just awesome. And sadly, it's just too expensive to duplicate that kind of android--what wit all the special effects--for a tv show.
