  • Season 2 - Spoilers, Speculations and Hot Robots

Soo season 2 is gearing up! Currently Fox is airing Season 1 almost every day to get people excited. Plush the DVD hits later this month. So... lets talk season 2.

So we know season 2 will star:

    Lena Headey as Sarah Connor
    Thomas Dekker as John Connor
    Summer Glau as Cameron
Richard T. Jones as James Ellison
Brian Austin Green as Derrek Reese
    Garret Dillahunt as Cromartie

Garbage singer Shirley Manson (playing Catherine Weaver) and soap star Leven Rambin (playing Riley) will also be either recurring or regular characters... different sites say different things.

We will offically get 13 episodes (unoffically 22).

    So far we know:

    2.01 Samson & Delilah:
As the Connors deal with the aftermath of Sarkissian's attack, Agent Ellison finds an ally in Charley Dixon. Meanwhile, Cameron emerges from an explosion apparently unscathed, but will she ever be the same again? Allies become enemies. A boy becomes a man. And a new threat is revealed.

I`m really excited! The new promo shots look really promising, as does the trailer. I think watching Cameron stape-gun her skin shut will be a highlight to the series!

I'm very excited about Shirley Manson joining. Particularly hoping the show plays up her usual edgy look. I love when a show can create an ambiance and immerse you in the world they have constructed.

Ha! I haven't seen this promo, but wow, that does sound intense!

    When is the premiere date?

    Lydia made the punch!

The one promo image she is in she has orange slicked back hair and looks pretty badass. Jenni Lou posted it in the other thread and she looks cool - though promo images can be misleading... but I have faith her character will be a lot of fun!

The series returns pretty early! Sept. 8th. Thats not far off and means it'll be one of the first new things back on TV! Which means it has a lot to deliver and if it is so amazing then all following returning shows will have a lot to live up to.

I have just watched the season 2 trailer and it looks awesome! I can't wait for the show to come back!

        Spoilers for the s2 trailer:

        Spoiler:
It's gonna be very interesting to see how John will deal with his conflicting emotions towards Cameron in season 2. According to the trailer, it seems she came back a bit wrong after the explosion and Sarah thinks it's necessary to kill her. I love how John says that he needs her, that she saved his life. There is some great potential for John/Cameron drama and angst right there! I cannot wait!!!

Ooh, I'm glad her hair appears fiery rather than muted. With everyone having such dark or neutral colors, it's nice for a splash of color. And maybe symbolic that she stands out boldly. Thank you so much JL for the promos!

Anyway, the reason I'm so excited that she's been cast is that I always loved Garbage's The World is Not Enough music video, in which

          Spoiler:

Spoilered in case Terminator found the same irony and wanted to homage it.
          Spoiler:
Shirley is cloned and then her android version is programmed as an assassin and carries inside her a time bomb.

In a world like Terminator, I cannot help but find this casting very amusing. Yes, I'm geeky.

I just added 2 more promo pics, this time of Cromartie.

Yeah, I think Shirley Manson is an interesting choice. I've never seen her act before but I've always liked her style and presence so I hope she will be a good fit into the show.

I never really noticed the hair, but yeah everyone does have dark hair. And the two new characters both have brighter hair, so for sure they'll stand out.

I am really excited and I hope we get some great fight scenes with her and Cameron (I don't recall her fighting any girls in season 1) cause she so looks like she would kick ass in a fight scene.

I haven't read all these spoilers you all have, but I can't wait for Season 2 because Season 1 was just sooo amazing.

And, apparently, [email protected]!Online was trying to give some T:SCC scoop, but she gave it very strange, so all I got from it was....

                Spoiler:
that Cameron is missing, or something.

                  That is... random...

Here are more spoilers that have been spread over the web.

                  2X01 "Samson & Delilah"
                  Spoiler:

                  - Many of the characters will undergo major changes and John will have a new look by episode's end.

                  - Josh Friedman describes the Season 2 premiere as "a very big, ambitious episode," adding that "almost every character goes through a major change unexpectedly." A theme for Season 2 will be "evolution," and we may see that some of John's innocence "dies this season." Also, expect new challenges for the title character of Sarah. "Sarah's war is a lot grander and more complicated than she thought it was," Friedman teases.

                  2X02 "No Good Deed"
                  Spoiler:

                  - Leven Rambin makes her first appearance on the series as "Riley," a love interest for John. it is still unclear on her statues of being a regular or a recurring character. my bets on recurring with either 6-9 episodes or 13-15 (if we get a 22 episode season)

                  2X03 "The Mousetrap"

                  2X04 "Untitled"
                  Spoiler:
-The fourth episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Season Two will revisit the future and explores the origin of Cameron.

                  So far sounds good!

I can't wait for it to start again!

                    Spoiler:
No! I don't want a bad Cameron! And I definitely don't want a different loveinterest for John.

Season 1 was decent and I enjoyed it a lot, but I really think they need to take the show up notch for Season 2 for it to rise above average, here's hoping.

Hm, so I just rewatched T3 and was wondering if they were going to bring Kate Brewster into the series? I know John and her don't get together until they are older, but I mean they kinda skipped over alot of things by time travel so it may make sense that John and Kate bump into each other sooner then later.

                        Any thoughts?

Well, I read several interviews where the showrunner has said that the series is really meant to stand on its own and have its own mythology. He attributes any deviation in the conventional mythology on the time travel aspects of the narrative.

If this is something they would consider doing, I imagine it would much further down the road. But I still doubt it because in the series, the time travel and skip like 8 years and that's already a deviation from the T3 mythology.

Although, it is interesting that they did address Sarah's cancer in the series since it is what killed her in the T3 narrative (prior to the film starting, that is.)

Well, she'd be in her twenties, so my first choice? Sophia Bush, who originally had the role in T3, but was then too young, so Claire Dane was given the role last minute.. Now that she's older, I think it'd be a great fit. She deserve better than "One Tree Hill."
