[spoilers for Season 1 and 2]

Hello, I just finished watching Prison Break Season 2 on DVD today, and I plan on seeing Season 3 online sometime very soon. But...I need to talk Prison Break. I heard someone talking about how it went downhill after Season 1. It sure as hell didn't, IMO. I think that Season 2 was, in fact, better. More places to go, more romance, more action, more characters, more...well....everything. I absolutely LOVE Kellerman, and I was extremely (and I mean extremely) pissed when he died. But that's another thing. I really got to compliment Prison Break on it's character deaths. It sure as hell killed a lot of them in Season 2, but the deaths were brilliantly done. Some of the ones I really loved:

Abruzzi - "I only kneel to god. I don't see him here."
Tweener - "And I lied to you, all right? My name's not Scott. It's Dave. David Apolskis. I'm gonna be writing to you, and I sure as hell hope you write back."
Haywire - "I don't want to go back to prison. I just want to go to Holland."
Kellermanr - "Took you long enough." [smiles]

Okay, I think I've named enough. All fantastic characters, that got the great exit they deserved. And my favorite episodes so far: (favs underlined)

"Riots, Drills, and the Devil" (Part 1) - action!
    "The Rat" - fantastic drama
"Go" - the suspense, the characters, the everything! Top 3....
"Buried"- everything about this awesome! Brilliantly written scenes with Mahone, Tweener, Sucre, etc. Again, top 3....
"The Killing Box" - again, action, which Prison Break does fantastically
"Sweet Caroline" - Another top 3 here, because Reynolds is amazing, the twists, Mahone and Sara, Kim, Kellerman, and everything that happens here!

    You guys? Anyone? Please?

It's one of those I watch but it's not a fave one. I like it well enough to watch though.

And I agree that s2 is pretty good. But I would be prepared tp be a little let down by s3. It's not completely bad, it's just...different. And slower. BUt the last few eps were pretty good though.

I am actually excited for s4 because I have heard some good spoilers.

And about Kellerman. I'm with you on that. I loved him too. I am pretty much sold on any character that Paul Adelstein plays. Some random trivia: in real life he is married to Liza Weil, who played Paris on Gilmore Girls.

OT: Seriously!? That's so weird, they don't really look the same age. Has he played a side character ever on GG? I thought he did, but I'm prob wrong

Yeah, I heard that Season 3 was a letdown by some, but that's what I heard about Season 2 I thought it was really intense, and I really love William Fitchner (sp?) as Mahone. He plays it great.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure Kellerman's my fav character, even though he's dead. In Season 1 he was just a normal lackey, but Season 2 he was great. Especially his line at the end of "The Killing Box". "The President ruined your life. She ruined my life, too. You just found your inside man to take her down, but it has to be right now!"

        Nope. Wasn't on GG.

Well, 2 is better than 3, imo. A lot better. 3 has quite a lot of new characters, most of which aren't very interesting. And you lose a lot of the regular characters you have come to know over the first two seasons. The first few eps bored me. But I really stick with shows that I start watching and it takes a lot for me to abandon them. In fact, I don't think I have ever abandoned a show (except for Alias in s4/5, which I came back to when the DVDs came out.) Add to that an entirely different locale and new mission impossible....there was just a lot of change for s3.

Oh, that sucks PLEASE tell me they don't take out Sucre. PLEASE. They already killed Kellerman, Abruzzi, and Tweener! DON'T take out Sucre! T-Bag's getting really annoying and flat-out creepy.

I'm kinda turned off by the fact that Season 3 is break out of prison....again. It's looking more like every odd season is prison, every even season is on the run

I used to be a big Prison Break fan during seasons 1 and 2 but then season 3 happened and for me it was just one huge disappointment. I don’t want to spoil Ben here so I’m not gonna say more, I just hope that the show will get back to its old quality in season 4.

My favourite season is definitely season 1, IMO it’s the most original and most thrilling. I loved Michael’s plan, that he had tattooed on his body, that Michael was so smart, the deep connection between Michael and Linc, that Michael fell in love with Sara, the excitement of the break-out etc. etc. I did like season 2 as well, the whole being on the lam thing was quite gripping and I absolutely loved Kellerman’s character development in that season, from the moment he started helping the brothers until his death and the way he dealt with it. I’m with Jenni Lou, Paul Adelstein rocks! And I never knew that he was married to Lisa Weil, that's so cool. Thanks for the info, Jenni Lou.

The only thing that I did not like in season 2 was the ending. IMO (and many fans’ opinions) the show should have ended with season 2 and it should have had a happy ending, with the brothers and Sara being able to sail away on that boat and not to start the whole prison thing up again. Yes I get it that Fox wanted to keep a show that has good ratings but given the fact that the ratings were quite poor in season 3 (no surprise here!), maybe they really should have ended the show with the season 2 finale. Oh well.

I’ve heard some spoilers about season 4 that make me feel slightly more optimistic but I doubt that the high quality and thrill of season 1 can be recreated.

See, I like Season 2 more because it's more intense, more suspense, better character moments (IMO), and they took many, MANY risks, which all payed off. And I love Michael's genius in Season 1, but in Season 2, you got Michael's genius and his intellectual match: Mahone, who just kicks major ass. And you get Michael falling in love with Sara in Season 1, but in Season 2, you have them (sort of) together. "She's pretty." "Will she get us where we want to go?" "I didn't mean the boat."

Seriously? IMO, this show should go on for three years. (but, they took the wrong road with Season 3 again). I thought it would be Season 1 - Break Out, Season 2 - On The Run, Season 3 - Kill The Company. Or, at least have Season 3 be the end of Season 2, not the dumb T-Bag thing. (I really disliked that. Belick, Sucre, and Michael? No. Plus, Sucre got stabbed  ) Was there anything about the Season Finale of Season 2 you disliked, or just the fact they went back to prison? I loved it all, except for the Sona thing. That made me mad, but I think it'll be interesting to see the difference between Sona and Fox River, cause there's definitely a difference

And, I agree, if the show doesn't end with Lincoln, Michael, and Sara being together...
