Heroes In Plastic

For anyone who is interested, Michael Crawford has a review of series 1 of the Heroes action figures.

The first set incluides Peter, Mohinder, Sylar, Hiro and Claire. The figures are not actually bad and I wouldn't mind picking up Peter and Claire. I am hoping for HRG and Elle for the next wave, even Charlie would be cool - though I doubt we'll see her, but it would be cool to get her with a swapable head that is being sliced into.

There are actually action figures out of them. I didnt know that, I want to find a Claire one as she's my favorite heroes. as for people I would like to see in future sets... Matt Parkman and Ellie and DL would be ones that I would like to see.

Mezco seems to have series 2 AND 3 already planned. Here are images of the inwork characters for the future: Elle, Nathan, Niki/Jessica, The Haitian, Matt w/Molly, Adam, Linderman, Future Peter, HRG and Samuri Hiro

I'm so going for Elle! I wana collect em all, but I think I'll just stick to a few.

The release will break down:

Series 2 - HRG, Niki/Jessica, Matt, Future Peter, Linderman

Series 3 - Elle, Samuri Hiro, The Haitian, Nathan, Adam

That means we gotta wait a bit for Elle, but I guess just 1 girl a series makes sense since there is only so many to go around. I'm guessing Maya? Not really alot of others we could get, though Mrs. Peterelli would be more interesting. Oh, or even Monica!

Wow, these are pretty cool.
Although I saw the Hiro one and laughed, not because it was funny, but it just reminded me of the Eurovision entry that won last year, the woman kind of looked like this, although if you didn't see it you wouldn't get it.

But they are pretty cool, I'd probably buy the Claire, Sylar and Peter ones if I didn't buy them all.

The other ones look great too, I'm randomly guessing that with Matt you get a little Molly too 'cause it looked like they came together...

Does this confirm that Elle is going to be back in season 3 'cause we didn't see enough of her?

I believe Kristen Bell (Elle) will be back for a handful of episodes, but not as a series regular. Though I hope we get alot more story line cause at the moment she is holding the show.


Okay so I caved and saw these at ToysRUs and bought Peter and Claire. I wanted Hiro but he wasn't there, Mohinder was there - lots of Mohinder but no one else. I bought the last Claire and Peter and they look REALLY good in person. I love the alternate body parts, and they look great on the shelf.

I hope to get Niki/Jessica, Matt, Elle and MAYBE HRG.
