Hey has any one ever watched this? As i'm debating wheter or not to buy the first season. Can people tell me the outline for the programe and if it's any good please, Thanks.

I've seen a lot of Farscape, although I haven't seen every season through in order, and I've always loved it. If my recommendation is worth anything

Outline of the show? How spoiled do you want to be if you don't know anything? Basically, it's about a scientist who takes a small space shuttle out on an experimental mission and ends up being sucked through a wormhole into a distant galaxy, where he teams up with a bunch of misfits on the run, and spends all his time a) trying to find a way home and b) trying to survive a series of wacky adventures.

The show is pretty trippy, but tremendous fun, and has some brilliant characters

Ahhh man I love this show! Chiana is such a character plus I'm pretty sure that Aeryn is the strongest female character I've ever seen on the tellybox.

Does anyone else have an unexplainable crush on Crichton? I don't know what it is...

So i watched the first two seasons of farscape and it started of...........weird to say the least, but then just after mid way through the first season We meet Scorpius and it gets good. Scratch that AMAZING!

This show has the little quirks like firefly, the character devoplment that would put buffy and angel to shame, a budding romace in the same vein as Bones and Booth and its all in space!

This is the best Tv Series i've ever watched, by alot and i like every show on these forums (except gilmore girls ) so i think alot of you will like it, so please can some people watch it!

Really U think its better than BTVS, ATS and others. Sidenote: I love gilmore Girls, it so GD funny. and I would love to watch farscape and see if it really lives up to the hype that youre giving it.

Yeah i do think its better than both of them, which is weird as i never thought i would like another show better, but i would deffinatly give it a go!

I just recently started watching Farscape as well and am now in the middle of S1 and it really started to grow on me after a rocky start. It surely needs a bit of time to get used to the puppet characters, but once you're past that, you even become attached to them. The show has a somewhat trippy and weird atmosphere but the characters are intriguing and their dynamics are fun to watch. It's a very reluctant bond that develops between the very different personalities on board and it's interesting to see which alliances and close friendships emerge.

I highly enjoy the snarky tone between the characters and Crichton's habit to constantly use popculture references that nobody else understands amuses me to no end. At the moment it's mostly stand-alone episodes with some losely connected story elements and I hope it develops more of an arc later on in the show, but at the moment I really love to see how the characters evolve.

I totally agree, but trust me stick with it, just started season 3 and it's alot better than the other 2, it seems to have found out what it's about and where to go with it. Any one else started it yet or planning to?

Aeryn is one of my favorite characters like ever. She is so kickass. And Scorpius is one of the coolest bad guys ever. When he comes on is when I really started loving it.

Exactly how i feel. Now i wonder why more people on these forums haven't watched it, as it's quite popular. Does anyone know if the members on these forums are more American or English as that may explain it if it's mostly english.
