I started watching this show for A.J. Cook (Tru Calling) and Mandy Patinkin (Dead Like Me). I caught a few off episodes and I really started to enjoy like the show. After I stopped watching CSI (I was no longer interested in the characters) watching Criminal Minds was a nice fresh change.

I bought Season 1 and have been watching it almost done stop. The storylines are fresh and really open up some great criminals. Almost all their killers have me shocked and I'm always surprised at how all the criminals are fleshed out and not just "killers" but people.

My favorite episode so far has been Season 2's "Open Season". Which is one of the most twisted episodes of ANY crime drama. It really got me hooked on the show, and I hope the series gets a fourth season.

Though all I gotta do now is catch up the series. Any other fans?

I?m also a big fan. I think how they approach each case, they just don?t analyse the case, they also analyse the suspects. The treatment towards the detectives is very fresh and depicts some of the consequences the job has on their personal lives, especially Hotch. Season 1 is very good, so is season 2. Right now I?m in the middle of season 3.
I loved what they did to Elle. What happened to her stayed with her and got her fired. I liked that change.
My favourite characters are Reid, Elle, J.J. and Hotch.

This show is perhaps one of the most interesting shows I've watching a long time. Not only are the plots awesome, but the characters are definitely worth watching. There are not really any shows about serial killers, so this show is unique in that matter. I like how the show breaks the misconception that serial killers are all weird freaks that stand out in a crowd. They show the truth...that serial killers are out there among the normal decent folks, and unless you are looking for a serial killer you would probably never notice them at all. Its a scary thought, but man it makes for awesome television.

Most of the characters on this show are very likeable and they are enjoyable to watch. Reid is one of my favorites. Intelligent beyond what most of us could comprehend, but yet he knows so little about many things. He is fun to watch. I am also very invested in the nonrelationship of Morgan and Garcia. Their flirting is so cute. I've been wanting them to move to more than friendship, but that would spell out trouble for them. First, it is absolutely against the rules in the BAU and second it could ruin their friendship.

Well that is all I will say for now because I don't know how far into the show everyone is. I've watched all the episodes online (Asian video sites are awesome...lol) so I'm all caught up for now.

Very small nerd-part though!

I've only seen two episodes (of the third season, so it must have been on tv here longer) "Lucky" and "Penelope" and it's really good!
Plus a pleasant surprise to see Nick Brendon in "Penelope". Too bad he's only in 3 eps so far, but maybe in the future

Nice show, I'll keep an eye on it!

So I caught the season 3 finale, and wow. That last 2 minutes made me scream! So what do people think...

I hope its Prentiss, I really dislike her. I enjoyed Greenaway so much more and was upset to see her leave (as I watch the season 2 DVD). I hope J.J and Garcia stay, cause they are both highlights of the series.
I think it maybe Morgan, though I like him as well. I hope its no one, and its just a random car.

Just got done watching the season finale and....OMG!!!!

I can't believe that. The moment it happened my jaw just dropped and I was speechless. I hope it is a random car, because I just love all the characters. Derek Morgan is one of my favorites, cause well he is handsome and I'm not blind...lol. I don't even want to think about who it could be. I don't want any of them to leave the show. And now I'm pissed cause we have to wait till Sept. to find out who was in the car. Which means I'll be crying again. Damned season finales....grrr.

Exactly! Hubby and I came right off the couch! We even rewound and re-watched the end scene at least 10 times trying to see if we could tell by the background and surroundings

Whose car exploded. If I recall, we decided it wasn't Garcia or Morgan, but I don't want to lose any of the cast members

- this show is very under publicized and under the radar. It's unique and I it. The charactes are quirky and lovable - especially Garcia the Geek and NB's character (can't remember his name!)

At least it wasn't cancelled like some other good shows were!

Though AJ Cook in real life is having a baby, so I can imagine her role will be downsized a bit during mid/late season to give time for her to actually have the baby and be a mother. Though I hope if the series DOES get a season 5, she will return.

I also agree that CM is more interesting than CSI, for the same reason - I am *way* more interested in Garcia & Kevin than I ever was with Sarah & Grissom! Also, some of their psychos are really *out* there....to the point that sometimes I wonder if the writers aren't a little unbalanced!

That's the same thing we thought about JJ, since they just set her up with Mr. Awesome from New Orleans. But, I don't want it to be *any* of the characters killed! How can you not love geeky Reid? Or hunky Morgan? And , NOT GARCIA! And on and on!

Hopefully this potential SAG strike won't ruin this season like the writer's strike ruines last season!
