I love the mighty boosh its hilarious, anyone else like it?
I think its on BBC America in the USA or something im not sure though.

    Fav episodes? Fav characters etc?

My fav episodes so far are "old gregg the funky merman" and "party"
"Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage; and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny"

It's gotta be the one with Milky Joe! So hilarious, Howard killing his 'wife' and trying to hide the evidence, the bamboo car, the ridiculous song, Howard trying to discuss Sartre and Camus with Milky Joe, Vince's drainpipe trousers, an all round brilliant episode! And more generally, I really laugh whenever Vince and Howard break the 4th wall, for instance, when Howard is a ghost and Vince tries to put his arm through him, but Howard reminds him he couldn't do it because they spent the episode's budget on his hair! Has anyone seen any of the live shows, and what do they think of them?

The Boosh is brill and Howard Moon Rules! As mad as python as cool as jazz/funk and with some real pearls of comedic lines.

My Fave ep is probably nanageddon or possibly Charlie.

        Fave line:

Naboo: This is black magic. This is hardcore. Don't mess with the occult.
Vince Noir: I thought it was good for you.
        Naboo: What?
Vince Noir: Well, you know, good for your digestive system.
        Naboo: That's Yakult!
        Vince Noir: Oh, yeah

I like the one with Nanageddon... but I like all of them. Haven't seen all of series three yet though so looking forward to even more.

Is it wrong to like Vince's clothes? And to occasionally, say, perhaps ever so slightly, attempt to emulate him, sartorially speaking...?

I love the Boosh! My favorite episode is Charlie. The poncho dance in the end always cracks me up.

The first live show is out on DVD, it basically reuses everything from the first two series with a few new bits thrown in. it's hi-larious. Funniest thing is the game Vince has developed. It's set up near the beginning when Vince explains it and then the payoff comes later on, when you've forgotten about it. I wont say too much as I dont want to spoil anyone but it was the first time in my life I actually feared wetting myself from laughing so much.

Series 3 was still undeniably Boosh but not a patch on the first two. That said I really really hope they make a fourth.

And not to overstate or anything but The Hitcher is the greatest character in the history of the world ever.

No overstatement whatsoever Though I do love Naboo. And Charlie the big bubblegum...thing. I still haven't seen all of series three so dunno about it not being as good, but love the first two. I love the episode with the coconuts...and the spirit of jazz one...oh, all of them.

Noel fielding remains my favourite celeb spot. Had to restrain self from going over and...god knows what I would've said. Probably along the lines of I love you I'm your greatest fan can we be friends? You know, something cool along those lines.

                    Spoiler:

“That's not a game. That’s just a sequence of events. A sequence of terrifying events, culminating in a rape.”

                    LMAO.

"Yeah but it's not an ordinary rape, it's a rabbit rape. It's a terrific bunny bumming!"

Gotta love and fear a mind that comes up with that kind of material.

                              YES HE IS.

I've spoildered this paragraph because it's about series 3 and also it's so ridiculously pretentious I can't quite believe I wrote it about the Boosh.

                              Spoiler:
I've heard a lot of people say that about series 3, although I utterly do not agree in any way. (Not to sit on the fence or anything...) 2 is definitely my least favourite season, because I think it feels a little stilted compared to the first one (although Vince's hair is practically the definition of Good Hair) whereas in their third they're getting back into their stride again. The first series feels very loose, because as they've said, they weren't entirely sure what they were doing, whereas the second doesn't have the same experimental quality. (I think Noel and Julian are at their best when they're experimenting / loose...) They go to new places in the third, and I thought a lot of episodes were brave and very interesting for their imagery, references and black humour, especially "The Strange Tale of the Crack Fox" and "Eels". I think it's brilliant that they made an episode as unflinchingly horrific as "Crack Fox" while retaining a sense of light heartedness. I love that they got away with that. 3 also just had some episodes full of great gags, like "The Power of the Crimp" and "Party". I have mixed feelings about "Journey to the Centre of the Punk" because I think it really just recycles the same material over and over. That said, I adore Vince's punk band. I think "The Chokes" is a dreadful episode, but you can't get it right all the time. I still think the first series is the Boosh at its Booshiest, but 3 really works for me. 2 just wasn't of the same quality, IMO.

He makes me very happy too. It's the hair, mainly. Even with the new 1970s lesbian haircut, it's irresistible.

Why does weeing NEVER STOP BEING FUNNY?

It's like...if humour had pillars (following the structure of Islam, because...well just because I happened to be reading about religion in the context of PSHE the other day, and PSHE sounds rather like pish to me so....) wee would be pillar number one. And poo would be, obviously, number two.

But I think Vince Noir might just be pillar number three. How many pillars in total? Hmm...must leave a special pillar for Vince's hair.

*wees in terror, and it comes out like a cable*(

*Goes to club where everyone wees on each other*

                                    *Comes home*
