Ok, I'll get the ball rolling for tomorrow night's eppy...which according to Titan TV's synopsis:

    Spoiler:
Chloe runs afoul of the Black Canary (Alaina Huffman) when she procures one of Lex's project files for Oliver. Lex suspects the Green Arrow and retaliates, while Lois discovers Oliver's secret.

I'm soooo super excited for this eppy! I've been waiting for Ollie's return for, well ever, and I'm super pumped at the idea of
    Spoiler:
Lois finding out that Oliver is the Green Arrow - if that is indeed the secret that they're referring to, and not that perhaps Ollie & Black Canary have hooked up. (This source is from King Of Kretins who informed me tonight that in the comics they're like married or something....boo hiss )

I am so excited for this episode.

    Spoiler:
I love the idea of bringing in more Justice League characters. I do hope Black Canary and Arrow have hooked up, and maybe bringing BC onto the show will open up the chance for even more characters such as The Huntress or even a version of Wonder Woman to pop up.

Wow, never have all my couple preferences been so torn, yet completely intact at the same time. I mean, first and foremost, I'm a Clark/Chloe girl. And the way he got so protective of her...I was just...flying Also, there was that comment about him not letting Oliver steal the best sidekick, like, evaaaarrrr! And then the beginning where Chloe was all cool and secret-agenty, and the Green Arrow came to rescue her. Man, I just had so many strange fanart possibilities in my head! And ha! at Lois punching Ollie. Because I'm sick like that, and love that kind of violence. How precious is Lois, trying to hide Ollie's secret from Clark and Chloe? The Lois/Oliver-ness just made me sad in the end though. I did think the scene with Lois and Clark was kinda sweet, though. Yet, I'm still not a Lois/Clark fan on the show. Not that I dislike their relationship, I just prefer their sorta-friends-but-we-really-annoy-each-other thing. And yeah, I just giggled remembering Clark yelling at Oliver over the whole Chloe thing. I was waiting for them to hug it out. Dude, give me Ollie and I'll go into squeals and giggles mode. Throw in Kay Bennett, and I could just die right then and there. [/mindless babble...]

Now that I've gotten that out of the way...Clark and Lana in the beginning. Totally cold. I was half-afraid that they would have somehow magically patched up their relationship between the end of last episode and the beginning of this one. But of course, Lana must be the good guy again. She'll stand up to Lionel and ultimately do the right thing. Not saying that she IS evil, but I would enjoy it much more if that were the case.

I'll always admit that I don't really know anything about the whole Superman...thing. So I don't know anything about the Justice League characters. I mean, really, the first thing I thought of Black Canary was something to the effect of not completely digging the outfit. Also, "Oh hell, no. You did NOT just knock over Chloe like that." Um, I guess I would have been more into her appearance if I knew what I was watching. I did laugh a little bit when she tried the spinny-kicky move on Clark and bounced right off of him. Anyway...so Lex. I have to admit, I really liked the days, some were not so long ago, when I allowed myself to think (although I knew it was not the case) that there was a twisted kind of sweetness to him. Wanting a brother, trying to turn a new leaf of non-evil, the always fun reminiscence of the Clark/Lex friendship...*sigh*
would you do anything for me

I enjoyed this episode- mostly because of Oliver coming back. I was disappointed that the Black Canary had short hair- cuz in the comic books, her hair is long. Ah well, I guess I can dismiss that. I like the reference in the end that Dinah made to Oliver about him having bad taste in women. It was clearly a hint to their relationship in the comic books.

I was crying my eyes out during the scene where Oliver and Lois broke up. I wasn't 'that' into their relationship but oohhh the water works just kept pouring. And the scene between Lois and Clark was sweet even though I can't picture 'em together partly because of Lois' personality. She just annoys me. I may just be rooting for Clark and Chole after all. Who knew?

I wasn't too thrilled as to how they ended the episode between Lana and Clark. Its so strange though ever since I watched this show- I have been a Clana shipper to the core and when she went off and married Lex, I just hated her for hurting Clark so bad like that. But something she said to Clark helped ease my pain- that Clark knows in his heart that Lana isn't the one. I can move on now.

I saw promo images of her and thought the same thing. But it made sense with the brown wig (though I would have liked the idea like in the older comics with the brown hair and blonde wig...)

Black Canary was done justice in this episode and I was shocked at how much I liked this version. I was a bit worried from early images, but they really played her out. Her apperance is very Comic Book (minus the hair) and she just has that bad ass personality. I also liked the mask, at first I didn't, but it grew on me. The one other thing that bugged me (again a nerdy thing) her canary-cry had no sound! The promo had this sweet sonic high pitch thing... I felt let down that in the episode it was just muffled and things broke...

Now to the other stuff. Oliver and Lois was so sad, and Lois' heart breaking speach just had me gasp. And I think this will be the point in her life that will allow her to eventually be with Clark. But Lois in general was great with the entire Oliver/Arrow thing, just some great humor.

Chloe was also great and with all her techno-stuff, I think they should make her Oracle (sadly replacing Barbara Gordon) and have her start the Birds of Prey. Coommee Onn! All the comic fans will agree.

Oh... I've missed the last couple of eps, can someone fill me in on the where abouts of lil miss Supergirl?

Yah I didn't like the mask right away but as the minutes past it started to grow on me as well. And I agree with you about Chole- she'd make a great Oracle.

As for Supergirl- I believe she was transported to Chicago with no memory as to who she is? Am I correct?

She was transported to Detroit, from the Fortress, with complete amnesia at the end of 7.08 "Blue." We're not 100% why this happened or what's happened since because none of the characters know where she is. Next week, however, in 7.12 "Fracture," we'll find out what she's been up to and all that jazz. So don't worry - she'll be back.

As for 7.11 "Siren?" I thought it was freakin' awesome and probably my favorite "Intro-to-a-new-superhero" episode so far. Really emotional, full of action, and I think they did a great job with the Black Canary. I, personally, loved that they kept so true to her outfit and I grew to like the mask a lot (it was a nice, unique touch to the character) and I think that the short haircut was just a nifty way to really modernize a character that we haven't seen since "Birds of Prey" (in which, a teenage girl was Dinah Lance and her mother was Lori Loughlin of "Full House" fame). But, yes: great episode. One of my favorites of this season.

I gotta say I loved Lori Loughlin as Black Canary on BOP, she was a nice refreshing character and kinda one of the only high lights (sadly her daughter didn't live up to the name and fell flat FAST.)

I dunno about anyone else, but when ever I pictued Black Canary I pictured Amanda Seyfried... She kinda has the comic book look that would work (if she were a bit older).

I loved the episode but didn't like how Black Canary looked. She seriously should have looked more like the comics with the hair...

Now for the nerdy part of me!

How is it at all possible that this Black Canary (Dinah) exists within the smallville universe... I would have thought the first Canary would have obviously come first. The original BC doesn't have the canary cry...

I've been trying to figure out what earth this is and i've come to the conclusion Earth 2 but i'm still shaky on that! It irratates me so much and all my friends can say is smallville has it's own continuity and I can't accept that in my mind >_<

Well I think the point of Smallville is its own world and not part of the comic. Thats why we have Jonathan Kent die, and Lois Lane and Clark meet while he's still in college and the reason why Lana and Lex have/had a relationship.

You need to look at it as a fresh start (much like Birds of Prey did with having the original Black Canary have the canary cry and her daughter not have it.)

I've been trying to look at it from a new start but it's so hard =/ I'm so used to the comics and I know Jonathan kent died on one of the alt earths.
