Jossverse Actors on Bones

I was just watching Angel 5.01 Conviction only to discover that Hodgins played a lawyer! He's all clean shaven and Joss on the commentary said how great he looked as a lawyer and they'd used him a few times

Who else have you noticed?

yes, t.j. thyne is in 3 episodes of angel. most famously as the leader of the conga line in "life of the party". but yes, he was also at the beginning of "conviction". he actually had several lines of dialog as well as being a background guy a few times.

Don't forget Azura Skye who was Cassie Newton. She plays that private investigator locating Angela's husband.

A lot of Jossverse folks seem to have been on Grey's Anatomy too! We were talking about that in that forum.

Yeah, I noticed that on IMDB a while back and then went back to season 5--and yes, he's the one who complained about the Halloween party being boring, asking "Where are the ritual sacrifices?", and who in YW is dragging the demon slave away when Cordy sees it, saying that it had been living on toner fluid--"can you beat that? Well, I assume [the slave's master-forget his name] will...." I didn't remember him in Conviction though, that'd be one reason to rewatch that awful epp!

And yes, other notables (besides DB himself of course! ) have been:

1) Halfrek appearing in "Girl with a Curl" as the murdered child beauty pageant star's creepy mother

2) the Mayor also appeared in "The Woman at the Airport" in season 1 (the LA epp) as a creepy plastic surgeon!

3) Adam Baldwin as the crooked FBI agent in "Two Bodies in the Lab"

4) Camille was the teacher in the beginning of the Serenity movie

And though they aren't strictly Jossverse (but almost it feels like sometimes!), the actors playing Celeste Kane and Beaver also made an appearance in Girl with a Curl!

Those are awesome observations and ones that I totally forgot about! I guess when you watch the first two seasons in a matter of days they all get sort of jumbled up. :/ Thanks for the info! I can't believe I even forgot about Adam who I absolutely adore!!

Lol, well if it makes you feel any better it took me a minute to remember AB too! And the Mayor for that matter....

Yeah, Beaver was the brother of the rival of the murder victim in Girl with a Curl whom they suspected of killing the girl, and I think his mother might have been Mrs. Kane, oddly enough...

I never knew Hodgins was in Angel, wow. Does he still have the curly hair? Hmm it's funny how when Jossverse actors go ionto a show they have a link to the other (Hodgins with David Boreanz, Jensen Ackles with Tom Welling, Alyson Hannigan with Alexis Denisof etc, and then usually after them the other connection comes like Amy Acker with Alyson Hannigan (Althought Amber Benson doesn't have a connection to Julie Benz I think, maybe Amy Acker thought).

I wonder who else will appear on Bones?, hmm I wonder if we will see Sarah Michelle Geller or Charisma Carpenter on it, it would be a little funny epsecially if their character took a liking to Booth
