Yay!!! I think Chuck was my favorite show this evening. (Though wasn't it nice of NBC to make an evening of all similar related action/scifi shows?)

So Chuck was pretty much what I expected by making me think of the OC several times. And I about died when Chuck's ringtone for Morgan was Journey's Anyway You Want It. I loved that gag with Atwood. I could have totally seen Adam Brodie/Seth Cohen here, so it was a little odd yet intriguing to have someone else. Can't wait to see how Levi grows into the character.

The introduction of such a wild premise took away from getting to know the characters. So I'm looking forward to that in the episodes to come. Adam Baldwin was hilarious as ever! And I even thought the CIA girl was likeable. Nothing makes for a good show like an enjoyable cast.

The real weakness of the show was that it wasn't as tightly structured as it could have been. By the end of the show, I wasn't sure if we had moved very far in plot (which could be because the show is also being billed as a comedy). The subliminal image flashes were always distracting and I hope they move away from that since we comprehend the concept and don't need to see it each time.

Next week looked like it could be flat out hilarious with the new trainee!

BWAhahaha... Adam Baldwin as a retail monkey! awesome.

I liked this show a lot more than I thought I would -- it was really fun, Chuck was very much the "cool" dork in the tradition of Lloyd Dobbler. I loved the little twists like the one near the end about his nominal love interest/protector... and oh man is that a beautiful woman. Sarah Lancaster?

I really hope it benefits from the slot before Heroes and stays around.

Also, loved the Bryce action sequence -- home boy could scoot.

I really liked this one, too!

Adam Baldwin is pretty amazing! I love him! Can't wait to see more of him!

Some pretty stupid jokes, but it was very funny, nonetheless!

I loved the whole, "You geeks are good" gag, a lot.

And I really like the mix between comedy and action! The beginning was hilarious, imo! When they were talking about Byron (or something) and how he was an accountant. Cut to Byron (or something). Subtitles: "Not an accountant"!

The end was a great twist! I can't wait to see how it turns out! It seems like it will be a good show.

His name was Bryce... or Bruce, if you're telling unsubtle stories about past boyfriends.

Two scenes convinced me that this was great comedy -- slacker dorks vs. ninja, and Chuck's "Journey" ringtone in the middle of the bomb scene.

Ah... internet porn. Is there nothing it can't do?

I just watched it. I like it! It was a little loose in places and felt a little rushed but overall it is a fun new show! And how I adore Adam Baldwin so! Let's hope the show sticks around because Adam is almost as cursed as Eric Balfour is when it comes to show cancellations!

Right! That was some straight up Alias sh*t...but somehow smoother and faster. That guy was like jumping off buildings!

Like KoC - I liked this show more than I thought I would as well! I love seeing Adam Baldwin again!! He makes a great addition to the cast - which is so great!

Love the "Geek Squad" reference in "Nerd Herd"!! And the "Buy More" to "Best Buy".

Storylines have been entertaining - equal action/serious/comic.

Also, loved the Bryce action sequence -- home boy could scoot.
            SERIOUS Scooting!!!

This is going to be a fun show to watch!

I really enjoyed the second episode! I liked it much more than the first.

I thought it was much funnier and held my interest the whole way through. I really loved the opening with the Large Mart, Casey attacking a shoplifter, and Winiebarn or something?

One of my favorite parts was the dinner party! I really, really liked Casey and Chuck delaying Sarah's food! I loved the bit where he tried to rip the food off the table, but the magic trick worked! Also, the whole thing when Casey came over with keesh!

But, my favorite part was definitely the very end! I loved how we keep our three main characters and I loved the conversation over the song! The whole thing about going to his old friend's funeral! I absolutely adored Casey's conversation!

Casey: What happens to Chuck after all of this is over?

Government Girl: You'll do what you do best.

              Woah!

But, I have one big problem! They NEVER explained why Sarah killed those three people and then shot the camera! I hope they'll explain it later

Anyways, I loved it! Can't wait for next week!

I think the first one was funnier, but this one was a lot smoother and more cohesive. Yes the opening scene was hilarious with Casey chasing down the shoplifter. Good for Casey! Adam Baldwin is so great at comedic delivery.

Casey and Sarah's showdown in the hotdog place was great! I loved all the plastic cutlery and other makeshift weaponry they used!

Morgan's love for Chuck's sister kills me. I can't wait to see him start to grow on her. And I especially loved when he said he had his own special entryway, "the morgandoor!"

I really enjoyed how a lot of trust issues were dealt with so we can see where Casey and Sarah stand regarding Chuck and the mission. And I enjoyed the last scene with them all going to the the hotdog place.

                Lydia made the punch!

Oh, I totally forgot about that! That was really amazing! Not only was it a really great fight scene, but it was just hilarious! I really loved that!

                  How could you forget that!?

Morgan: I think it went well. Not great, but well. Now I'm gonna get myself a plastic baggy and go out my morgandoor.

                  Love it!

I'm definitely enjoying Chuck so far. I agree Ehlywen, Chuck should be Adam Brodie-he would have brought just a touch of sex appeal along with the likable goofiness.
It is definitely full of funnies and surprises though. The boys coming into the hotdog shop just to check out Sarah killed me. Especially the one that announced that he loved her-and the picture for the internet.
And Adam Baldwin taking done the shoplifter was priceless.
I think that Casey and Sarah have interesting chemistry and would kind of like to see something there-though I know I'm supposed to be routing for Chuck to get the girl. Guess BTVS has really messed me up I see a hot fight scene-I expect smoochies to follow.

I love Chuck's VO at the beginning of 1.02, when introduces Sarah. He just said "Oh yeah... I know". I love that.

I'm also a big Captain Awesome fan... Morgan has NO chance.

This third episode ruled 10 kinds of Awesome. Which was great considering that Episode 2 seemed to misfire.

Loved the stylish new credit scene, I only caught part of it since I was out of the room. Very skater meets Bond! Who knew that could be a style?!

Adam Baldwin rules. He was basically the reason I managed to watch all of Firefly and to see him on a show that I love is all the more rewarding. That's what I call movin' some merchandise!!!! Best line ever! The entire Buy More battle was awesome but the random microwave and subsequent Ding! was an unexpected delight!

LOL, Ryan McPartlin's flat acting about drove me insane when he was on Passions. But as Captain Awesome, well he fits the character so perfectly and to hilarious result. Tango?!!! (jj!!! are you thinking what I'm thinking?!!!)

The politics of the Asst Mgr storyline was also hilarious with the team pulling the late nighter to save their two hour lunch break and Morgan's fear of old computers. Can't say I blame him!

It was great to see Chuck, Sarah, and Casey all working together as a team rather than each faction working on their own separate agenda. I hope for more episodes like this before the NSA and CIA start interfering! *pouts* Can't the government just leave people alone?!

And I love how exposition doesn't require any drawn out set up to make it seem natural to storyline. Alias about put me to sleep with the conference table briefings...except for Marshall. Anyway I love how Chuck just sees a random thing and BAM instant exposition and we can move to more interesting plots and jokes.

I really love all these characters. Morgan's allegiance to Chuck and obliviousness to the fact that Chuck's life has changed. His sister who cares so much about him but is extremely chill about his inadequacies. The pompous and ineffectual Tang pulling out all these lame tricks to further his own career. And the Manager who obviously wants Chuck to have the job, but is just using Tang to motivate him.

                        Can't wait until next week!

                        Lydia made the punch!

LMAO Oh my god, I love you.

...but Awesome only taught me the girl part...

Oh dear, I completely loved that Buy More battle scene. I almost threw my computer off of me when I was freaking out about how hilariously awesome that microwave flying across the room was

I love Morgan. Not in a secret boyfriend kind of way, but he steals my heart. I love the end where he just kind of pops into the scene when Sarah leaves.

Did anyone catch the name of that gorgeous actress I've been staring at in previews for two weeks who played La Ciudad? To quote Chuck: "oh yeah... I know".

I love that Sarah is actually starting to like him, too

Chuck and Elie are the best brother-sister team on TV right now, to me. I wonder how much older she is? Or even if she's older?

I've been watching Chuck for the past few weeks, and gotta say I think it's my favourite of the new series that have just started, I found the second episode better than the first - it was just hilarious, and the third was pretty cool too. But I love the mixture between Chuck's life at the Buy More with Morgan etc. and then the spy stuff, it's a great combination,

Although what I really would like to see more of... Bryce! I sort of figured that we might get some flash-backs or something with him and Sarah or something, I don't know. But I would love to see more of him. In the pilot episode when I saw his kick-ass fight scenes I basically fell in love with his character and was like OMG I can't wait to see what he does next..... and then he died. So, I was a little bummed out. But I do hope we get to see him again.

I can't wait for episode 4, although I have no idea what this one is going to be about, given I don't get to see the previews or anything, I'm really looking forward to it. This is actually my priority of what to watch rather than Heroes now! Which is annoying since I really loved Heroes before, *sighs*

I am right there with you! Along with 'Pushing Daisies' Chuck is my favourite of all the new shows that started. They really find the right balance between comedy and drama, the characters are all funny and likeable and treated with a lot of care in characterisation. Buy More vs FBI/NSA is an absolutely hilarious contrast and makes for some really good comedy and the action sequences are simply marvellous. Plus, all the nerdy references are very delightful! I am really looking forward to how the show develops!

LMAO that's funny, I was thinking the exact same thing! I've never fallen in love with a character before just because of a 1 minute fighting action sequence that kicked all kinds of movie asses and was really disappointed that he died like 5 minutes into the Pilot! Plus, the guy was really cute wouldn't mind seeing him again, even maybe in a flashback with Sarah!

I just wanted to post to say...I love you Morgan.

He's wearing Ellie down! She spent $700 for him. How much has she ever spent on Awesome? She's weakening.

The Chuck/Ellie story made me kind of sad. But it's the first time I ever REALLY loved their dynamic. I mean, they were entertaining before, but I actually felt it this time

This show continues to just be hysterical and brilliant and dramatic. I thought this sounded like a ridiculously dumb premise, and it sorta is, but it's a great *show*.

This show is so ridiculously cheezy.

                                      I like ti though.

But sometimes I think it is trying to be too Alias and gets a little too serious. It's so wacky in tone that when it goes real serious, it kind of throws me off.

That said, I still like it. And Adam Baldwin rules!

I love how each episode is as magically delicious as the week before.

I loved the final segment when Chuck realizes that even if he is now actually saving the world, he has always been saving the world in Morgan's eyes. The reuniting was extremely powerful. It could have just been cheesy or cringeworthy. But I loved how it exhibited how strong and important their friendship was to them. Just unspoken respect and admiration.

I also really loved the moment where we see Ellie looking so distraught at Morgan. I don't believe it's really because she likes Morgan. Instead it's because she knows Chuck always has. Ellie's rightfully concerned with how Chuck is changing and neglecting all the things that he used to love or matter to him.

Is it just me or was this song also in the OC when Ryan similarly was racing to reunite with Marissa at the New Years Eve party in S1? Gorgeous song.

And YES! for next week! I knew backstory had to be on its way. They've taken such care at nonchalantly giving us hints and details and leaving me drooling for more.
