  • Which do you buy??

I buy both. I actually use the comic issues to read and the TPBs just to have and put at the end of my Buffy DVDs.

Buy the comic as soon as it comes out. Get the TBP to keep for posterity, in case the comics get crumply and worn. Also download scans so I can make icons from them. Don't tell anyone.

I buy the trades, though I download the monthlies to keep up-to-date.

I buy the individual issues and the TPB's.

Onec I read the issues they go in their bag n' boards and into a box for safe-keeping. The Trades I have on my bookshelf to read and refer too.

I buy the individual issues, but I may by the TPB's later on, just in case something tragic happens to one of the individuals, like if it gets torn or something.

I buy the issues, cause I need to read them as soon as they hit the stands. I don't buy the trade paperbacks because by the time of their release, I've read the issues 50 times by then and don't really see the necessity in buying them. Although, they are pretty good-looking, so I'm considering otherwise. I like the idea of not reading ads every other page....

I didn't even realise the TPB's were commercial-less, I think I may be needing to buy them even more than I originally thought..

Although I think the commercials add some kind of cliffhanger because usually before them something fairly large sized occurs, but it's only temporary, not like end-of-issue-cliffhangery.

Yes, it is VERY nice to not have the commercials.

Not to mention the not so flimsy cover.

Also, in the TPB of 'The Long Way Home' they corrected Willow's eye colour to greeny-brown instead of blue.

Well as of today I've finally decided to knock these on the head, and not buy them anymore.

I'll probaly keep tabs on how the story goes via the net and places such as these, but apart from that I'm done.

Really? I even heard from someone else on this board that the trade paperback also has Dark Willow's hair black instead of the incorrect red in the flashback scene of #4. I'm really considering buying them now!

UPDATE: Totally just did. Both of 'em.

I get both. The comics i have to get to know whats going on and the TPB's are just good to have. The TPB's are way better cuz they don't have all the crappy advertisements and look fantastic, but the individual comics are good to have as a keepsake once they're in plastic covers (which you can get for dirt cheap at most comics stores). But i will still get both! It's Buffy, and that says it all!
