Buffy Season 8 Action Figures

Even though it would be cool to have action figures I seriously doubt that there will be any.

That would be cool but I highly doubt it. I don't know if they would be allowed to model the figures like Sarah Michelle Gellar as she hasn't actually played the character "Buffy Summers" for an 8th Season. Same goes for the other actors. And personally, seeing a "Buffy" action figure that doesn't resembel SMG would just be second class in my eyes.

Action figures, like other art, would all have to satisfy Sarah's likeness right approval over the Buffy character.

While I highly doubt that we will see a wide commercial release of Buffy action figures for Season 8, we'll probably see statuettes and so on like we have for earlier seasons of Buffy, or the lovely statue of Buffy based on the Animated Series that got stopped. I could see a statuette of Buffy and Satsu as they looked in 8.04 for the "No. Panic.", or a Xander statue of him standing on the command center dais, and so on.

Since DST has ditched the Buffy Line (they've done some great work... And alot of bad work) I doubt there is a great chance for these, unless they go completly comic style and maybe we'll see something from Mezco, but I highly doubt it.

It'd be cool to get statues based off Jo Chen's cover art though.

Holy shit. You know what that would mean if they did: 3-D, real life, naked Eliza Dushku! That would be a gift from baby Jesus himself!

Does anyone even collect these statues? For me, I wouldn't even know where to get them. But even if I knew where, they wouldn't appeal to me. Not because it's "Buffy" (obviously)-- but because it's a statue. Where would I put it? In my garden? I don't know; different strokes for different folks.

XD I never even thought of it that way. But yes, yes we would get a real life naked Eliza (though tastefully covered of course).

Umm, alot of online stores, comic shops (I know the one buy me has the "Buffy vs Dracula" Statue still and the "Villians" Willow. I use to collect the figures, and I just display em in my room. Though I could imagin putting it in your garden... If you lived somewhere sunny. And had a low crime-rate.
