Uhm my thoughts:

Serioulsy Joss? Must you shove the fact that Fray is canon down our throats more? I mean I don't hate Fray, I really like it, but this is Buffy time. Not Fray time. Sure the whole end of magick thing is like the Big Bad o' the season, but that doesn't mean that she needs to meet Fray.

Looks like Buffy's wearing this season's fashions (ie 2008), with the ruffles. So perhaps she's slightly from the future Buffy Unless she's from the 70s

What's the matter? That's probably the coolest cover they've had so far.. Not the most beautiful, but definitely an awesome cover.. Buffy is once again done amazingly (thanks to Jo Chen).

As much as the overkill with Fray, it's obvious that he is going to be tying it into this season as long with "After the Fall" (the Spike portal panel).. I think we all have to face this and accept it.. I personally accept it with love... I love the idea of it all being combined together.

Yeah I was confused too! Sorry Joe, but you were beaten to the punch. but in other news, amazing! HEY! Don't be a hater, Fray is AWESOME. and now is the time to bring things together a bit more. It doesn't have to be shoved down our throats that it's canon. Joss just knows the response to Fray was huge, and people really wanted to see her back. It's not like it's completely out of context either, because as you said, end of magic and all. You're so lucky I love you. *shakes fist.

Have you read Fray yet Ender's? It's a great story! Hopefully, Joss will fill in the Buffy blanks and move into a new series with Fray. I enjoy Fray as the Slayer!

I think it's a good move to do this cover. I'm interested in the what the story will be.

Because we've also been seeing "flash forwards" into the future with Angel as well...

I agree. I mean including Fray into season 8 isn't anymore Joss "shoving canon down our throats" as it would be if he did a crossover with Angel.

Fray's a canonical character, by using her Joss isn't shoving this down our throats, he's just using her.

I think it would be awesome to mush everything together. I love cross overs and when things tie in, it upsets me to think of all the comics and stories as seperate from one another, especially when as far as beginnings go they all started at the same place. Fray is totally apart of the slayer cannon so why can't she (or her setting) be involved somehow?
