Very simple, which original Buffy music, and which "guest song" (from an artist or band) do you prefer ?

Original Buffy Music: I really love everything Christophe Beck did, but I'll have to go with Robert Duncan work in Chosen, exquisit song, epic and strong...When Buffy gets up...love it

Guest Song: I'll go with "Virgin State of Mind" by K's Choice in Doppelgangled, always loved that song, so poetic, so...vibrant...

    Your turn...

      Sarah McLachlan preform that song.

      Original:
I'll go with Chosen tune to.. "The Final Battle". I used to listen to this for hours! god it was so good!

      Guest:
Ummm i don't know.. it's a hard one. But one song that's made his mark in my mind, is the song from the episode Passion. I don't remember the name but it was when angel was talking..

        hmmm, I'm a music junkie...

2 that I love for Original: is Close Your Eyes and Anything (Surprise dream sequence) Both are awesome.

Guest: I have (and love) about all of them... One that is in my head right now is "It Doesn't Matter" by Alison Kraus. It plays When She Was Bad when Joyce is taking Buffy to school.

Another I love is "Key" by Devics...it's playing at the Bronze when Dru & Spike walk in in Crush.

"How" by Lisa Loeb plays while Willow & Xander are trying on their formal wear and they share their first kiss...I think it was in Homecoming....another great song.

A few more of my faves:
"I don't Know" by tresspassors William - song plays at the end of either Gone or Doublemeat Palace, can't remember, when Buffy & Willow are sitting on the curb talking.

"Let the Sun Fall Down" by Kim Richey - plays when Buffy breaks up with Owen in NKABOTFD.

"Pavlov's Bell" by Aimee Mann - plays in Sleeper when Spike dusts the slutty vamp at the Bronze.

"Stupid Thing" by Nickel - plays at the Bronze in School Hard when Spike watches Buffy dancing.

"Blue" by Angie Hart - the CWDP theme song.

          Hmmm...toughie!

Original Buffy Music: Well of course the best 3 pieces are Close Your Eyes, The Sacrifice (The Gift), and the piece that plays as Buffy stands up and kicks some ubervamp ass in the end of Chosen. As for my fave, it'd be a tough choice b/t the Chosen one and The Sacrifice.....right now I'll go with The Sacrifice I think, it's just so beautiful and memorable, summed up the moment so well and made Buffy's death that much more emotional and heart-breaking! I love how it starts out slowly, then builds up to a crescendo as she jumps and dies in the energy....and then the sight fo her friends, and her grave....so wonderful.

Guest Song: Hmm.....as far as songs in themselves, probably "Lucky" by Bif Naked, played during The Harsh Light of Day in season 4 when she sleeps with Parker (ugh). But other faves are "Goodbye To You" in season 6, and several songs during season 2, like "Transylvanian Concubine," the Sarah McLachlan song (forget the name) at the end of Becoming 2, and the song that plays during Buffy's dream during Surprise--"Anything," is it? It's such an amazing song, but sadly isn't widely distributed--or are you saying LRae it's original? Why, was it specifically written for BTVS? But yeah, such a haunting song...
Promise that you'll return to me.

The Sarah McLachlan song you're referring to is Full of Grace.

The song in Buffy's dream sequence is titled "Anything" by Clement & Murray...they're some type of composing group that did numerous songs specifically for Btvs. And I finally got that song this week! I did backflips when I finally found it!

Well this is "Angel waits" by Christophe Beck...it's an original song, so you still have to pick a guest song...

Original: like Sherrilina I cannot decide between Sacrifice and Chosen. They both are perpetually tied to their episodes and I can't decide between a victory of humans' defiant love in the face of death and a victory of humans' defiant strength in the face of death. Sacrifice will make me tear up, but Chosen is pregame-get-everyone-revved-up music, and they both make me shiver. They're both excellent and I just can't choose.

Guest music: "Pavlov's Bell" by Aimee Mann. I really don't remember much from the music at the Bronze, it was all very quiet and kind of blurred.
Buffy: It sounds like it's difficult for you. Maybe your sister makes it hard for you to establish your own identity. You said she's controlling, she doesn't let you make your own decisions -
Dawn: Yeah, and she borrows my clothes without asking.

I really like Pavlov's Bell and This is How It Goes by Aimee Mann. Anything is also a great song. So is Little Fury by the Breeders, which they performed in Season Seven's Him.

There are dozens more that I'll post later! :P

My favorites were definately "Lucky Ones" by Biff Naked, "Virgin State of Mind" by K's Choice, "Stupid Thing" and "1000 Cigarettes" by Nickle--I hunted down a band member and got the CD since the band's no longer together. and of course "Full of Grace" by Sarah McLachlan.

Oh man, I just ADORE Aimee Mann and it was so cool that she had a cameo on the show. I listen to all her albums. I kinda wanna get out my s7 dvds and pop in Sleeper and watch it. I love how the fight scene syncs up with the music. Too cool!
