SO HOW OLD WERE YOU WHEN BUFFY AIRED?

Well I was 7 years old and now Im 16 so its been 9 years.

So what about you guys?

I was 19 when the show aired originally, but I didn't become a full time view of the show until I was 23, halfway through Season 5.

I was the same age. 7. I've been a fan since I was seven as well...but I was scared...but I still loved it. I watched it once, then was hooked!

I, like KoC was 19 when it first aired but did not watch it right away.

I was about 5-6. I saw the show is such young age and still managed to fall in love with the show!

I was 18 when it first aired. But I didn't get to catch every episode every week until I was 21. Before that I was too busy partying and working so I would catch reruns when I could.

I was like 8. I didn't start to watch the show until Season 7, BUT I was obsessed with the movie when I was 5. I'd watch it like 9 times a day. It's was my childhood, "watch, rewind, watch, rewind..." movie. I used to re-inact the training scene.

I've been watching it from the very beginning, The Witch was the first episode I ever saw and I watched it religiously ever since. I started watching it because I loved the movie when I saw that a few years previous

I was probably just turned 17 when it aired in Denmark... *sigh*

I was 20 when I first started watching during Season 2.

I would have probably started watching earlier, but Joss and the media buzz made such a big deal that the tv series wasn't like the movie, the movie was done wrong and if you didn't like the movie, you'd love the tv show. Well I loved the movie and figured vice versa that meant I wouldn't like the show. *smacks head* Anyway I was 14 when the movie aired and I still adore the movie in all it's teen cheesiness.

I was 18 when it first aired in the US, but here it arrived only in 2000. So, I started watching when I was 21. Good old times!

I think I was 16 It was during summer and there was reruns of the two first seasons. My sister told me I could like it, as I loved the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice (I know, quite different in the end). I watched it from the beginning and was hooked right after ! It was airing on Saturday and I was always waiting for it ! Then came season 3 in France and season 4 started airing in US next september :d

I suppose I was 11. Season one just aired in Ukraine, it was the sweet summer of '99, I was watching Buffy, covering myself with quilt, because I was scared. Hm, now where did all the fear go? The show aired on the next day after my 9th B-day. Thank you, Joss, for the gift!

I watched the show right from the first time Sky One aired Welcome to the Hellmouth which I guess would have been late '97 or early '98 making me about 22 at the time.

it was '99 i was 16 years old & the first episode i watched was Angel.

I think I was eleven years old. I remember watching the commercials for it on the WB. They never showed any scenes. Just the creepy sexy voice of the commercial guy saying "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" coming to the WB, blah blah. The way it sounded I thought it was a major adult show cause I had never watched the movie. Saw one episode and I was hooked...and I'm still hooked.
