Ok, Ive seen the top 20 Best episodes thread at least twice on here but havent seen one of these yet so I decided to make one. I also thought it would be easier for people to pick 10 episodes they didnt like instead of 20. So here's mine

Me neither IMHO I think that its one of the better season openers as opposed to the freshman which is in my top 20 worst.

I hate that episode, some things are really bothering me. First, Dracula isn't the great Dracula he should be, Xander is a buttmonkey, Buffy leaves Riley in the night to fight because he can't statisfy her anymore ... really what was that about? It was the start of stupid!Riley and Dawn in the end ... I'm still not over that moment.
It's not really the episode, it's what happened after that episode because of that episode ... can anyone still follow me?

After number 6, it gets to episodes I don't actively dislike...I think it's quite an accomplishment to only be able to find 6 episodes I actively dislike in a 7 season long series.

Chosen wouldn't be on my list except that it's such a disappointment as a series finale for me. Actually, I like it less and less the more I think through it, unlike the entire rest of the series.

Also, in case it's not obvious...I do NOT like season seven...

1.04 Teacher's Pet - Coincidentally, it's at the top of the list, but the bottom of my Buffy list.
1.06 The Pack - A bad Xander episode. 'Nuff said.
2.04 Inca Mummy Girl - Terrible plot. Bad acting.
2.11 Ted - Robo-boyfriend for innocent Joycie?
4.17 Superstar - Why did they even bother with this episode?
4.18 Where the Wild Things Are - I do not like Ruffy, and therefore this episode is almost unbearable.
5.10 Into the Woods - Another Riley heavy episode.. (Well, at least As You Were isn't that bad.)
6.12 Doublemeat Palace - Funny at first viewing, creepy at second viewing and eventually sucked.
7.13 The Killer In Me - Yeeesh..
7.14 First Date - A huge, sucky filler episode.

Hee! Well I do have some season seven hate going...and it's a bit stronger than it used to be because I just did a whole series rewatch and I was SO annoyed with season seven from Sleeper on that I could barely get myself to watch it all.

I do love a lot of these, but you don't have any of my VERY favorites on here...I think Doomed is the closest to a favorite (I love any kind of parody-ish episode). But if I was doing top 20 instead of top 10 worst episodes, Goodbye Iowa, IR...YJ, and teachers pet would probably all be on there. I love Beer Bad though...cave!buffy rocks! As do the fantasies that start that episode...can't say I haven't had a few of those myself post rejection..

Yeah, I hate these episodes Most are totally lacking any intelligence, others just make me go crazy for OOC, and some bore me to death. But, they're mostly just really dumb.

Wow We have a lot of season 7 hating going on in here. "1.04 Teacher's Pet" is the most hated episode in the Verse I would say

I actually don't mind BvD, but I did read a very detailed post on another website once that showed how all of the bad things in Seasons Six and Seven could be effectively seen in BvD, as you said in your post. Xander's buttmonkeyness, Buffy's turn to "darkness" away from her friends, Willow/Xander's solidification and acceptance of being the sidekicks, the pairing off of the group, Giles's absence, introduction of Dawn...yeah. But I don't think the episode itself is too horrible.

I think an obvious choice would be quite a few season 1 episodes but surprisingly not many of them actually find their way into my list. I think the reason for this is, is because I don't expect better from them. The show was just starting out and finding it's way and the characters were still enjoyable. I have far more patience for those episodes then I do really bad episodes in later seasons when I know that the show could be better and that the writers should write better than this by now.

So here's my list;

1) Gone: Seriously, my most hated episode in the series. The whole thing was incredibly lame, and an embarrassment, Buffy's cheesy invisible voice over was just horrible, I utterly couldn't stand this episode.

2) Beer Bad: I find myself barley able to keep awake from the moment Buffy and the others turn into cavemen. I don't find it interesting or entertaining at all.

3) Lies My Parents Told Me: Great episode, made me mad at Giles, at Buffy, at Wood, at Spike.. what an accomplishment! And I wasn't even mad in the sense of, "wow this is really interesting developments for the characters" it was more "who are these people, why do I find myself nearly hating them and when did the show turn so horrible?"

4) Inca Mummy Girl: Love myself a good Xander-centric episode but I found the story very dull and the acting of Impata's guard so very, very bad...

5) Empty Places: The only time I actually dislike Buffy in a scene, I mean truly dislike her. The line "You sent away the one person who's been watching my back" is the most offensive, pathetic and most stupid thing she has ever said and the writers ever wrote. And that hurts me, because she's my favourite character. And then we had to sit through the painful scene where the Scoobies kick her out as well.

6) I Robot You Jane: Ok it has that nice moment with Buffy/Xander/Willow at the end when they talk about their love life and how they'll never have a normal relationship, but the rest is just incredibly bad, even for season one standards.

7) All the Way: Borefest. Don't see the point of it at all, don't find anything really appealing about and it really makes Dawn look like an utter jerk. The girl finds it exciting that the guy she likes has just attacked an old man and stole his money. Wtf Dawn?

8) Entropy: I thought the show stooped pretty low with the Spike/Anya hook-up. I think Btvs was better than that, at this point I felt as if they were just hooking the characters up with anyone because they couldn't think of anything else to do and because it was a cheap shot at trying to get some shock value and make everything more depressing. I was really disappointed in the writers after that.

9) The Killer In Me: Hate to say it because I just love the Xander/Angelus scene but the rest of the episode I find very, very dull. I really don't like the flashbacks.

10) Weight of the World: I find this really, really boring. And it completely destroys the suspense from 'Spiral' leading up to 'The Gift.' I really dislike the Glory/Ben/Dawn scenes, find them really very dull and I don't care much for the Spike/Xander scenes either, which surprisingly were also pretty dull.
