Season Seven Credits

I have been curious about something sine Buffy... ended. On the Season Seven credits, there is one clip that I have never seen on the show. When they are showing Nicholas Brendon, there is a scene where Xander is shown in close-up, and he is struck by a beam of light. What episode is that from, and what is that beam?

Are you referring to the first clip that appears with him having a small purple lights of sorts getting projected into his head. I may be wrong, but I am pretty certain that this clip is taken from the Season 6 episode 'Hell Bells' and that the purple beam being projected itno his head is the vision that he is presented by the old man/demon which shows the nightmare version for Xander of his and Anya's future if they were to stay together.
