Compare the evils!!

Second season: Spike OR Angel
Third season: The Mayor OR Faith
Fourth season:Adam
Fifth season: Glory
Sixth season: Warren&Andrew&Jonathan OR Dark Willow
Seventh season: The First

What I want you to do is to compare these evils. Write who is the best according to you and why you choose instead of the others. I wrote each season's evil guys. As you can see I wrote two names for 2nd, 3rd and 6th... Maybe you are not thinking like me , for example you are saying in 6th season warren andrew and jonathan are the evil ones not willow , then tell it to us. Because it depends on the person....
Actually, I want you to think of this question when you're answering. Think that all of these evils gathered and started to fight. According to you, who would win?

Don't get me wrong, Beste but one thing that I don't agree is about season 2. I mean please, I has nothing to do with me being bangel: Season 2's evil was Angelus. Spike was important but not the main one. Spike and Dru was the other important evil couple, in my opinion.

If you want, you can.I want to say that maybe you're right that Spike wasn't the MAIN evil, but of course as you have mentioned Spike had important scenes or episodes as an evil in season 2.

Have you voted for Angelus? Don't get me wrong but imo Angelus is one of the weakest villians on this list! I mean, if you're talking about "he's evil because he was loved before and he being the bad guy made him look the most evil" but if you say he's the most evil guy the most powerful one, it's not so true..
I mean The first evil is the createor of all of them, come on he's the one that you can never beat and devour!! He's ofcourse the most evil one..he's made of evil and he made evil!

ps:First isn't my favourite evil ofcourse, he's not even in my top ten list or smth, but I believe that he had the most power anyway..

Yes I did, because he is my favourite but I AGREE with you in "the first" thing about the power thing. The thing that I said to Beste was completely different: I said about the season 2's main evil and I said that Angelus was the main, not Spike. Spike was important and I love Spike but hands down, he wasn't main evil of season 2.

Ok, I'm wrong with voting Angelus just because he's my fave but I found it out late that's how it happend. But I believe that Angel had somethings mental not the physical power. I respect what Beste said, and add my opinion just like she asked for

I voted to The First because this evil perfectly sums up the whole concept of BtVS. From the very first season the zest of the show was the externalization of character's inner fears, foibles and frustrations. The First is the logical pinnacle of this idea. Evil is innate part of humans. We can't get rid of it completely but we have to fight it. Great idea!

I had to vote for Dark Willow because she was filled with blind rage and would harm whatever was in her path. The other evils on the list all had a different mindset and agenda. I dunno, that's just the way I was feeling at the moment.

I would pick the First but I didn't out of spite because it was kinda lame. Plus, it's not corporeal so it can't do any real harm without some minions!

I chose Faith! I dunno, there's something about a slayer that turns to the side of evil when she was suppose to serv the side of good.

I had to choose Angelus- mostly coz the big change from friend to foe was what hit the hardest. In the same way, Willow and Faith come a close first.

As for the first... well, there was a certain amount of lameness involved, so I couldn't choose that!

Glory, the hater of humanity and destroyer of minds (yes, the metaphor was drawn pretty thin), was the one I wanted to see put down from her first moments on screen. However, Angelus wins for pure sadism. He'd run circles around anyone on that list (except the First. He'd make the First go bankrupt and take a monopoly on evil).

Haha. You guys consider Angelus more evil the the First... damn they didn't write the First as well as they should have then I suppose it's easier when you personalize the evil so well with Angelus. He was my second choice.. I actually went with the Master.. he freaks me out. The First never really felt very personally threatening to me... or emotionally.

I'd say the First was the most evil, because it created evil and as others have said, it made of evil. Furthermore, the First can take the form of anyone else on that list (save for Andrew and Dark Willow). If the First wanted, it could perfectly mimic Angelus or Glory, and in a sense be those people. For all the innate cruelty Angelus has, the First can match it and perhaps even surpass it.

Second place for me is Caleb. He's pretty much the only human evil enough to be a vessel for the First Evil. He's just as cruel and sadistic as Angelus, but Caleb has a soul. He hates women and I'm sure in his past he's done some hideous things.

Angelus gets third place. He's honed evil down to an art. He's sadistic and not only does he want to kill a person, he wants to break them so that when death does come, it's almost a merciful release.

As for the others... it's hard to say. The rest are also evil, but a different kind of evil. Each has thier own brand or flavour of evil you might say.

(this is pure favorites, though i do think angelus was by far the most irredeemable... i happen to subscribe to the line of thought that liam/angel and angelus are entirely separate beings. the only time angelus ever showed humanity was when he went at liam's father. also, angelus affected the main characters so much more than any other baddie--it was personal, methodical and cerebral.)

I would have to say Warren is not the most powerful but he was the most evil for me. Why?

Because he was human and he pointed a gun at Buffy at close range and shot her . He was willing to kill, and by ambush, another human being all because he lost face that this woman beat him at his own stupid game each time. He has already killed his ex-girlfriend, and tried to pin it on Buffy. And wasn't he planning to sexually abuse said girl if she was not killed. Now that's evil. Big time. Warren has a soul. Supposedly. Demons and vampires are just doing what they're supposed to be doing. Being evil. Whedon's statement with Warren's actions must have been that humans are still the most fearsome creatures ever.

Dark Willow comes second because as Jenni Lou has stated, she was acting on pure rage. She's second only because it was Warren's actions that triggered Willow's darkest side. And if all these villains had a showdown, I'd be rooting for Dark Willow. Glory beat her as Willow the wiccan, but Glory will be sweating blood against Dark Willow.
