Hey there!

I was thinking of how Anya fit in the scoobies. Firstly she was just a acquaintance of Willow's and now we see her with Xander.

I think that Xander and Anya thing started very wierdly. IMO, first Xander wasn't impressed by her look. The Prom date stuff was the very first begining and It was Anya who struggled to catch Xander's attention. and It was Anya who tired to date Xander. But It reallly worked Sometimes I don't really understand the way that it happend but it did. In a short time; we saw Xander and Anya dating.

I think you all remember the days that Xander didn't care of Anya and still thinking of Cordelia.(well It should be understood)

Then Anya and Xander was the first couple who had officially decided to engage..

Well there's no question to ask but I just wonder what you think

Well it did start off very weird, but then I could have never seen Xander and Cordy together early on in the series, or Buffy and Spike or Cordy and Angel so I think many of the relationships started off that way

In fact I personally believe the only two relationships that started with the knowing that the two would end up together would be Bangel and Tillow. I think both relationships were set up so that it was just blatantly obvious they would hook up.

Yes, I agree. I'm not Tillow but I like the relationship between Tara and Willow. I think It was a powerfull love although I prefer Oz. But while watching you can feel the the power, and also there is no need to tell about Bangel, they have been the one. And I guess you're fed up with me telling I'm Bangel

Not at all I don't mind. But yeah what I mean is that when we first met Cordy and Xander or Anya we weren't immediatly having them set up in front of us to be a couple, nor were Spike or Buffy. Mostly because at the time the writers never intended to pair these people up. However, it was blatantly obvious they intended to pair Angel and Buffy up, they set it up from the very first episode and IMO it was very obvious they were going to set up Willow and Tara as well from their very first conversation. Notedly, Willow/Oz is another pairing that immediatly tried to set the two up, from the first time Oz sees her he wants her and then we have that whole "keeps seeing her or bumping into her without knowing it is her" thing which you just know is going to be paid off in the future.

Yes, If It's planned It's very easy to figure like you said on Buffy/Angel and Willow/Tara. I also think that the Tillow relationship was set up because for the first time they see eachother; I was like "It smells like love " so It was obivous to see that It was set up before the s4, maybe. Also about Spike/Buffy as you said It wasn't there for planned and I think normaly Spuffy relationship wasn't planned and IMO, they never thought of putting them together. If there wasn't the show ATS, I wouldn't be something like Spuffy or maybe not like how we saw.

Xander Cordy relationship wasn't also like planned, It was a different deal and I loved it.

They just seemed to fit together...they started out as a typical realationship that grew into something exordinary. But alas we all know how it ended. IMO I would of liked to have seen the two crazy kids make it. At least they do in my Sims2 game lol!!!! I cried when Anya died and Xander's reaction to it...'always doing the stupid thing...'

Wow! that's a really good idea, enigma. I adore Sims2 and I made Buffy, Willow,Oz, Joyce etc. but never done xander and anya I was planning to do smth different on the game, wow really nice.

Anya was a different girl in the Scoobie gang, she was actually funny and had a long history because of being an immortal demon. IMO 'Xanya' was funny and lovely, but it was so afflictive that Xander left in Hell's Bells. In addition, they were great b/c their relationship had no similar ones and I loved it.
