Collectible Cards

So I'm a total Trading Cards nut when it comes to buffy, angel and firefly. But something I've stumbled upon many times that I never quite understood what it was is CCG playingcards. What are these? Any help would be appreciated.

I do believe that the CCG stands for collectible card game and the Buffy CCG works the same way as the Magic and Pokemon CCGs.

Wiki says : "Collectible card games (CCGs), also called trading card games (TCGs), are played using specially designed sets of cards. While trading cards have been around for much longer, CCGs combine the appeal of collecting and strategic game play."

It's like D&D with cards, or at least that's how I understand it.

I bought a "The Wish" pack a while back and the graphics are nice on them, but I'm not really into trading.

Ah, that explains alot. I've stumbled upon these kinds of cards oh so many times all these years I've been collecting TC but never got what they were. Thanx for your help Mindy!
