The incredible series with Vincent Kartheiser (Connor) and Christina Hendricks (Saffron, Bar Maid in 'The Prodigal') in the great cast ... found another face of BtVS/Ats.
It's a goos how! And Vincent is fantastic in it. So earnest and prickly. And it's a pretty show too. The sets and costumes are just lovely. And it's a riot that everyone just chain smokes and has cocktails in the workplace.
It took a few eps for me to get into it, but it is good. Although, I am three eps behind right now. Oops.
He's in Mad Men? Gosh! I am just about to start watching it and have heard great things about the show. Had no idea it contained Jossverse alums though. Not sure I rate him as an actor but I loved Saffron.
I think that Vincent is great on this show ... not the most likable character ... but he is really good with it.
It took me some time to like it, but I love it now. The humor, the clothes (I need to have Joan's clothes, not that I look good in it ... but I need those pretty dresses.), the time ... I would hate to live in that time, the men are awful ... but it looks very pretty.

1. Yeah, his character is not a particularly likable one. But I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with Vincent's performance. He's incredibly believable and it's nice to see him in such a different role than what we all know him for.
2. Seriously. It's absolutely a man's world. And you see the whole sort of flip side to the Leave it to Beaver scenario. Like Betty...she's always done up so immaculately and still has dinner on the table for her husband. She looks like she is out of some kind of magazine from the 50s, holding a spatula in her designer dress or something.
