  • Who's the funniest?

I chose Spike, pretty much because he's got the most screen time.
Other ones who i think are really funny are Anya, Andrew and the Trio.

Heres some of my funniest moments....
:Andrew in Damage when he see's Spike for the first time since chosen.
:Spike making faces behind Joyces back in Lovers walk.
:Anya in storyteller ''why cant you just masturbate like the rest of us?''.
:Xander in buffy v Dracula ''The dark master....bater''.
    :The girl in question.

The Girl In Question was not funny, it was idiotic.

Anya and Xander. Easy. Hence best Jossverse couple evah! I love them so much. Anya is basically always funny, especially in episodes such as "Triangle", and in "Checkpoint" she's great. She's great in almost every episode, and I love her slapping Andrew Or the happy dance! Xander....okay, that's even harder. I'm not even gonna try to pick a favorite part for him.

I voted for Andrew. Quite unfair since he appeared in only 3 seasons (including Angel Season 5) but every line is a gold mine and Storyteller is still for me the most hilarious episode of the Buffyverse.
What about that Damage line for instance: "My therapist thought I was holding onto false hope, but... I knew you'd come back." Hilarious I'm telling!

IMO, Andrew wasn't all that funny. In Season 6 I thought him quite idiotic and dumb. I felt his character was more interesting when looked at in a more dramatic aspect: how he worships Warren, how far he was willing to go for him. That's what makes Andrew for me. And I think Tom Lenk is a much better dramatic actor than comedic and they really lost out on what he could've been. I admit, he did have his moments (such as "Get It Done"), but I wanted to see more of end of "Storyteller" moments with Andrew.

Not only did he worship Warren, but also Spike.
Now he his new idol is Giles. he always needs a strong male role model.
            Still really funny though.

Well, Spike in Season 5....but it seemed really out of nowhere I much liked him willing to kill for Warren. No love ever went that far in terms of good human character worshiping another. Isn't that so cool and interesting?! I thought it was....

Come on, it's clear that Andrew is attracted to Spike in Season 6 (in a sexual way or not), remember that line in Entropy and the fact that he duplicates Spike's look in Never Leave Me. It seemed right on place for me.
But I agree and also love Drama Andrew at the end of Storyteller which is why that ep is in my Top 10, perfect mix of Comedy and Drama!

Well, there's only a hint of drama, and the comedy is only good for a few minutes; then it gets old, IMO But, it's not a bad episode like most of Season 7.

I don't agree. There hasn't been many times in Buffy that he has ever said something that he would say for Warren, like, "He's coming back. I know he's coming back." That complexity of how he needs to attach himself to someone is so cool, and I think that once he hit Storyteller, he let go Warren and moved on. I took it as he doesn't need to only rely on other people, and idolize them. Like he did Buffy and Warren. But, then, they had to make him the same Andrew in Season 5 and, now, Season 8. It seems like "Storyteller" was for absolutely nothing.

Andrew totally loved Spike, if Spike was willing to be Andrews friend
the same way Warren was, then Andrew would probably have loved Spike more than Warren.
But there are so many scenes in s6, s7 and angel s5 that show how much Andrew loves Spike.

Seriously? Like what? I can't seem to remember any in Buffy. In Angel, yes, but it felt out of nowhere, and like I said before, a rip-off due to "Storyteller".

Warren wasn't Andrew's friend. Warren used Andrew and Johnathan and Andrew was naive enough to believe Warren was actually his friend. Warren cared very little about Andrew. Remember "Seeing Red"?

Well, I tried to pick two, but it wouldn't let me, stupid poll....

So I went with Spike because he and Anya are the two characters that made me spit my drink out the most....

I Picked Xander cuz If u rewatch the first 3 seasons, He is a comedic Genuis during that time. Xander always has something funny to say or a Quirky one liner to throw at someone.

I voted for Angel, I like his humor and I wanted him to have a vote. He is not funny like Andrew/Harmony (who both are there to be funny) or Anya/Spike/Cordelia funny ... but Angel is very funny in his own way.

Angel dancing, Angel singing, Angel trying to say Cordelia that he is in love with her ... or his way to keep Connor quiet... all very funny moments. But his own dry and dark humor is fantastic as well.

If I had more votes, Giles would've a vote as well ...
I'm not a big fan of the forced humor like Andrew or Harmony, and Spike, Anya, Lorne etc. are funny ... but after a while you know it ... Anya is rude and wants sex and money.

I chose Anya because I love her bluntness and how she doesn't really consider what she's saying, it's funny some of the stuff she comes out with.

I would've chosen Cordelia as second, mainly in Buffy, because her bitching and superficiality (is that a word) was funny to me, probably because of her lack of tact, like Anya.

I chose Anya because of her complete lack of boundaries, which makes her almost childlike view of human situations, very humorous.
Behind her would probably be... Spike and Xander. And maybe Angel, because he's much funnier in AtS than BtVS.

Xander definitely has the funniest quotes and that should help him.

Buffy,Willow and Xander walking in campus discussing parker

Willow (to Buffy): You need to find a man with which the mind is stronger than the penis

                                  (Xander sniggers)

Xander (exclaims): Nothing can defeat the Penis!

Spike. From his very first episode in the series ("Oh, please! If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.") to the very last ("I'm drowning in footwear!")
And to think he never lost his humour, even in the very end: "My soul. It's really there. It kind of stings".. Always the funniest for me, his kind of snarky, sarcastic, ironic and cynical sense of humour just really attracts me.
After him - Anya and Andrew.

                                      I voted for Xander.

But generally I think Xander, Anya and Spike are the leading funny characters. Anya; I have always thought that she is the girl that keeps everything from being serious with a giggle or a stupid joke and I love her sweetie funny way. Spike; although I dont support Spuffy, I couldnt keep myself away from loving Spike's behaviours and his style. I mean this man is funny, let's face it . Xander; I think there is no need to add anything for this guy about being funny.

Spike was very funny. Sometimes snarky and sometimes it just came out funny. This quote from Smashed always made me laugh.

BUFFY: Look. I'm sorry, okay? I'm-I'm sorry if you thought that it meant more.
                                        SPIKE: But...
BUFFY: But ... when I kissed you ... you know I was thinking about Giles, right?
SPIKE: You know, I always wondered about you two.

Anya was just funny because she had no filter. What ever she was thinking came out to shock and embarrass Xander.

On Andrew he had a crush on Spike all the way back to Entropy.
