I can't pick 20 because I haven't seen enough eps of angel, only about half the series. So I'm doing a top 10. Here goes:

1. Hero - Doyle's heroism was beautiful and heartwrenching. The one line in the series that actually made me cry - Doyle: "Too bad we'll never know..." (Turns to demon form) "...If this is a face you could learn to love."
2. Five By Five - (I didn't cry for this one, but I thought that Eliza deserved some kind of award for being seemingly evil, then begging Angel for death at the end. It broke my heart, and reassured me that Faith wasn't really evil, which I always firmly believed)
3. You're Welcome - (Actually cried for this one...I loved Cordy and her astral projection was a good way to give her charrie and Angel some closure.)
4. City Of...
5. Orpheus
6. I Will Remember You (Almost cried when Buffy broke down at the end)
7. Smile Time (Spike: "He's a wee little puppet man!" Angel: Shut up, Spike!")
8. To Shanshu In L.A.
9. Are You Now Or Have Ever Been? (Once again, a tear jerker at the end when the old lady says she was sorry for having Angel "killed" then seemingly died peacefully in her sleep. It showed that Angel, although vengeful at first, could finally forgive her.)
10. Disharmony (Harmony is so idiotic it's funny, and I cracked up when Cordy thought Harm was a lesbian, told Willow this, then Willow told her she was a lesbian and Cordy was all, "Um, okay! Good for you!" The akwardness was just hilarious)
