Wow.. very good stuff.. I am very happy with the results.. though extremely angry that the kiss from "You're Welcome" had won over "I Will Remember You." That is completely appalling and stunning to me.

I thought David should have definitely won best actor (drama).. I know Wes is a great actor.. but come on..

I disagree with the fact that Angel angry with Wes won the best drama moment.. because I honestly don't think anyone could have been more teary eyed after Fred's death... and surprised about Wesley's.. but I can't get too angry (I know there are loyal fans.. and I salute you.)

I thought A Hole In The world would have won best episode, but I can't complain too much.. after all.. the second best episode won.

I don't know. I voted for the Angel trying to kill Wes moment. It was very powerful and shocking. One of DB's finest moments, I think. It was a very intense scene. I didn't nominate it and couldn't believe I hadn't thought to. So I was happy with that win.

There are some suprises, but I like the winners.

Only the stupid Angel dance should have won IMO, I loved Wes & Cordy and their mocking of Angel & Buffy. But the dance in 'She' was really the funniest thing on TV ever. Altough I was so stupid to forget to nominate the dance.

I love the fact that Alexis is the best actor in drama and comedy ... I think he deserved that, David's acting became fantastic and Vincent made Connor so real ... but Alexis was the best actor IMO. His British accent never slipt, he had never an off-day. I'm happy with Alexis as the best actor.

I'm really happy that 'Reprise' won an award, I loved that scene in the elevator and the Angel/Darla fight/kiss/sex on the end.

Did somebody else had trouble with picking the best bad guy? I loved all the bad guy's.

Well I don't know why you would be appalled or stunned by it, it's def. a more important and touching (in light of Cordy you know DYING immediately afterwards, passing on the visions during the kiss, and it being the special 100th epp and the only time Cordy appears in season 5, etc) kiss than the IWRY one! I would have been appalled and angry if the IWRY had won--how is it different than many of the kisses on Buffy? But the Cangel one, that was kind of their only mutual one happening in real-time, besides the other significance I mentioned....it's def. more special than the Bangel one in terms of the show....anyway, I'm very, very happy it won!

I think Alexis deserved to win--he is a better actor than David, let's face it, as much as I love DB....his Dark!Wes in season 4, and his Broken!Wes in season 5.....amazing! The fact that he won for both comedy and drama just shows what a downright AMAZING actor he is, and what a range he has! Well done AD!

But like Jenni says, the attack on Wes was so powerful and shocking, it just leaves you chilled and stunned for a moment afterwards, and makes you want to rewind and watch the moment again, more so than Fred's death (at long last, after the whole epp) did. I'm not saying her death wasn't dramatic, cuz it was, but drama doesn't just mean teary-eyed (which I wasn't anyway at her death--I rarely get teary-eyed in these things...though maybe at Wes's death I did), and I think the Wes/Angel scene is MUCH more dramatic! It is such a shocker for Angel to do that (esp. when it seems like he was forgiving him--that's even the epp name!), and the profanities and violence...it is one of DB's finest moments, and the highlight of the epp for sure!

Yeah, so much for that prediction! I'm glad it didn't, it's good, but not the best....NFA was a worthy winner, though I wish it didn't win twice, variety is nice....(like The Gift and Becoming 2 both winning the Buffy one!).

It was funny, but I think the Wes/Cordy one was slightly funnier--it was certainly a bit more clever/witty...."I love you so much I forgot to brood!" I mean, come on, it's brilliant!

Oh yes, they are all great, I had so much trouble deciding b/t Lilah and my homeboy Angelus, lol! I voted for Lilah, but I'm happy with Angelus winning too--plus it's cool that he won both the Buffy and Angel ones, just shows how badass he is!

I was most disappointed with the winners for the season and song--season 5 is my least fave season by far, let alone the best! (Never understood the big love for it!). And song...well the theme is great, so not as bad, though I do love the evil!Cordy theme so much...I just had to watch that scene from Inside Out the other night to hear it, it's so amazing....

I voted for him for comedy (although I think J August Richards should have been nominated for singing "Three Little Maids" and then swapping to rap), but in terms of drama, I think Vincent Kartheiser was the best. Just because people don't like his character doesn't mean he wasn't the best... the turmoil, teenage confusion and real Macbeth to his Lady Cordelia made him a gripping dramatic actor.

Angelus... not my favourite villain. Too different from how he was in season 2 of Buffy, perhaps a little too jammed into season 4 with the other villains. I suppose they needed him during the show, but I thought there were better villains.

Season 5 was really not a very good season. It was a season with some brilliant episodes, but not a very good season. And Not Fade Away is not the best episode, or the most dramatic episode... it's just the last one. People seem to get that mixed up a little too much.

Otherwise I'm fairly happy. I thought Gina Torres was a better guest actress than Eliza Dushku, but Eliza was brilliant anyway so I'm not disappointed about that -- although I don't think Alyson Hannigan's appearance was that good, it was just novel. I also voted for Darla's death, myself, but all four deaths on that list were freaking amazing, each one worth voting for... I just find that Darla's was not only a particularly beautifully shot scene (more visually gripping than any except Wesley's) it was the best for her character. There was more depth to it than Doyle's death, because we hadn't quite had enough of Doyle yet, and we've seen Darla through everything she's done.

Of course people vote for a character and not an actor, as for the Oscar, the Emmy....Cause we all agree that they're all good actors, it's the role that matters, Forest Whitaker didn't won the Oscar because he was finally a good actor, it's because he's a good actor who played a great character, so in my opinion, people always vote for the character and they should.

Oh, David is okay but not great all the time. Alexis is always great, imo. His drama is outstanding and so is his comedy. Amazing actor, one of the best in the whole Jossverse. I really look up to him.

Angel trying to kill Wes is powerful and shocking, yes. But not sad, imo. I would've liked to see Last Seconds from IWRY win. But, whatever, I love the end of "Forgiving", too.

Cl?ment, I highly disagree! I love Angel's character but I don't think David is the best actor, or even close to it. Well, not in Angel, at least. He never showed that real drama. Well, sometimes, but not always. He's great as evil and in "Forgiving", but not always showing great acting. So, I disagree. Wes is one of my favorite characters, but not my favorite. But, I still voted for Alexis, cause HE deserved it, not necessarily the character.

Yes, but people ACT different at DIFFERENT TIMES. You can still be an amazing actress and not do amazing (see Scooby-Doo). Sometimes people are just off. But, in certain places, a person shines because they can or they're given the opportunity too. Like, Alyson Hannigan got the opportunity, took it, but not as well as SMG. Even though they both had superb parts and emotional ones, SMG did better.

A good role allows an actor to show that they are a good actor. Connor must be a good role, because Vincent Kartheiser proved himself to be fantastic. It's just that he was easy to dislike, because he was positioned against the Angel character. Idi Amin was also a dislikable role, I just think the Academy voters were a little more circumspect.

But what I said was I found Vincent Kartheiser to be a better dramatic actor than Alexis Denisof. I've only ever seen them in their Connor and Wesley roles... so I can't be talking generally, can I? It's them playing those roles.

Yeah, I know. I just think his dramatic efforts often seem too forced, too breathy, and I don't think some of his pained expressions quite work. Generally he is pretty good, but he doesn't quite pull off the bits that should make me tear up.
