How cool would it have been if they actually made an animated series off Buffy? Apparently they were totally gonna do one, set in season one.

they produced a 4 minute segment. all the series actors lended their voices except smg.
the gist was episode 1x07.5 + dawn.

They got a guy called Eric Wight to do the art for it, he used to have a website, but I can't find it anymore, if you image search Eric Wight or Buffy Animated you should get some images.
Eric Wight is the same guy who did the art for Atomic County (Seth's Comic Book series in the OC) andSpoiler:sigpicComment

I wish it had been made into a series. That looked awesome. It brought back memories of the old days. But question popped into my head. If it has been made into a series what network would have aired it. In a way, although it's still Buffy - it seems kinda childish Buffy. But I still wish it had been made into a series....Comment

It wasn't as bad as I had heard everyone saying. I actually thought it was quite sweet.
Shame they got everyone bar Sarah. I wonder if that was why they chose not to make a full series?

They were going to make the full series using the voice of Gisele Loren who did the voice of Buffy in the video games, I think there were three actual episodes made as well as that teaser, but I'm not quite sure.Originally posted by fragile View Post

I guess it was a money thing.
No network means no money.
If they have made three full episodes hopefully they will release them sooner or later.
I'm not a great fan of the things that have been made since Buffy ended but it's still nice to have the option to see them.
Maybe they will get leaked at some point too.
