Best Use of Stocks

Stock images can be a fantastic resource to add greater depth and meaning to a piece of Fanart, and the way in which they are used either as a manipulation or blended image ? can really make that piece of Fanart stand out from all of the rest. I know that I haven't been using stock images long, but there are some stock veterans out there who have completely mastered the art. This category is our first of the "Techniques" categories, and people have been voting based on who used the stock technique in the best manner to get the best result. And I am extremely honoured to announce our ten winners of this category.

There really were some incredibly strong contenders for this award right from the beginning, as I'm sure you can see. I agree Sayjay, this was an incredibly difficult category! I am pleased to see that only one that I voted for didn't make an award (for shame... ) Very beautiful artwork in this category, and I agonized over my choices for a long time, changing it several times.
Needless to say, congrats to ALL of the winners, because all of them were simply stunning.
