Hi everybody! My name's Emmie and I'm a Buffy-holic. I drink a glass of Buffyverse everyday...sometimes I drink more than one. If I'm feeling sad, I drink a Buffy ep to feel better about myself. I've been a Buffy-holic for over 10 years now. I actually stopped drinking Buffy for a year when I went off to college, but then all my friends were drinking Buffy and I started up again. But yeah, Buffy is my drink of choice. Sometimes I drink other stuff like Lost or House or Veronica Mars, but I always come back to Buffy 'cause it tastes the best and it makes me feel so good. I plan on drinking Buffy all my life and getting my kids addicted to drinking Buffy too. People say that's bad parenting; I say they've never had a drink of Buffy and don't know what they're talking about.
Anyways! I promise I'm not crazy...er than anyone else on this board. I was just feeling very silly when I started writing this post. Let's try this again without the silly humor.
My name is Emily Gustafson, I go by the name Emmie. I live in North Carolina, attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Go Tar Heels! Buffy is my favorite show of all-time. I love analyzing the show, looking at literary interpretations and all that jazz. I actually took a Communications class at Carolina called Interpersonal Relationships in the Buffyverse and later had the paper I co-wrote published in Slayage. I really have been a Buffy fan for over 10 years now and I promise I never tried to drink my DVD's.
I just recently started doing creative writing and some fanfiction. It is as irreverent as the first paragraph of this post and very satirical. Maybe I'll build up the courage to post some of it here.
Looking forward to meeting all of you members! I've heard good things about Buffy Forums (actually great things, my friend has been trying to get me in here for a long time) so I can't wait to get to know y'all better. Cheers!
