Like Spike at the beginning of 'Angel' season 5, I have returned. I was once a great fanfiction writer known as Alida Hush back in '04 and '05, but I'm back now as Lady Redspire.

I'll be jumping back into the fanfiction pool pretty soon, so look for some good stuff. Oh, and if you happen to have/know where I can find my stories on here (if they got saved) let me know. My hard drive bit it a while back and I lost everything. :[

If it was, then it's no longer accessible. It's quite possible I don't recall correctly, Dan. If you're right, then I'm afraid our friend's stuff is gone.

If you had it bookmarked, try it -- it may just not be linkable from the front page anymore (I still rely on BuffyWorld for its transcripts). If the forum is still up, I might want to go back and try to plunder my old posts there

Alida - sorry, Lady Redspire - really good to have a taste of your quality again.

As you'll realise from the replies so far, the names are mostly new, but you'll find a couple of familiar ones around in Fanfic ...

Try pm'ing Llywela about retrieving your writing, which "hurt in all the right places" to paraphrase Spike - Nikki had backups of the old forum, not all of which has been posted to save space (including buffyworld S8) but Jo will know, if you remember her from the Written?

Alas, unless anyone has private copies saved, I don't think any of your work can be salvaged. Nikki did have a copy of the old BW database from Mark, but it was such a mess that nothing could be extracted from it.

Oh, I've got a copy of at least one of your fics that was entered in the Written stashed on my harddrive. PM me your email and I'll send it to you. Better than nothing, I hope.
