  • The Time Zones Are Acting Up

It seems like when I try to reset my timezone, it's one hour off.

My time zone is GMT -5, but when I hit "GMT -5", it says the time on the forum is actually in the "GMT -4" zone. To get to my correct timezone, I have to select "GMT -6", even though my real time zone is "GMT -5". Does anyone know why the forum is doing this?

Do you have the DST settings turned "always on" rather than "automatically detect"?

I had this problem a year ago so I just have the DST set to "always off" and change it to "always on" when it is DST.

America's DST got all mixed up last year when the laws were changed. Not to mention we change to DST at a different date than other parts of the world. I'm not sure it a forum problem as much as it is individual computers.

Yep, that's what did it, Lyn! I turned it to "automatically detect" and it went back to normal! Thanks so much!

That's a relief that it was something that simple for you. You're welcome.
