I am patreon for the full reactions, early isn't of interest. Really disappoints me when a reactor's YouTube edit skips a moment I consider pivotal. Or worse, objectively is pivotal. Liam there skipped both the Lie, and Buffy making the decision/realizing the situation, only showing the kiss and stab.

Yeah, I'm a paying patron now, as well, because the full reactions are completely worth it, especially as I follow more than just her Whedon reactions, in fact I'm more attached to her SPN reactions than anything else.

I really enjoy ASR so I don't begrudge her anything, and I am sure she works hard at what she does, but just checked Patreon and it says that from 690 patrons she earns $4914 a month. Which is about 4330. A month! I'm in the wrong bloody job is all i can think

I've just checked NHS pay scales and she earns about 25,000 a year more than a junior doctor.

You've got kids TriBel, perhaps you could suggest to them that a youtube channel would be a good career move? I'd do it myself, but I think there's a rule that you have to be under 30 to have a channel

You took the words right out of my mouth!*

*You've no idea how much I wanted to say that using a Meatloaf video. I tried - but it made me feel even older!

So, have you watched Liam Duke's epic 90 minutes long review of Buffy season 2?

You keep waiting for the dust to settle and then you realize it; the dust is your life going on. If happy comes along - that weird unbearable delight that's actual happy - I think you have to grab it while you can. You take what you can get, 'cause it's here, and then...gone.

I started watching but haven't finished it yet. I know he enjoyed the season, which is probably why this video is so long

To be honest, I'm not really surprised by either of her thoughts on Season 6 and Season 3. It was fairly obvious that she wasn't enjoying Season 6 as much as she had some of the other seasons and her enthusiasm for Season 3 appeared to wane as the season progressed. And whilst I may not agree with all of her individual opinions on particular episodes/characters I actually agree with most of her overall points about both of the season's weaknesses.

    She actually nailed some of my problems with Angel Season 3 in particular;

    - How badly Cangel was written in Season 3 (particularly the latter half)
    - Cordy's change of personality upon returning from vacation
    - Connor
    - Tomorrow as a really underwhelming season finale
    - Disliking Gunn (I've found him really unlikeable in my latest rewatch too)

It's definitely my least favourite season of Angel.

I don't know why they had such an abrupt personality change in Cordelia once she comes back from vacation. So I just like to head canon that she's already Jasmine by then and we don't really truly see Cordelia again until You're Welcome.

She's going to really dislike season 4 except maybe the Faith episodes.

I think she reacted suitably to the gravity of the ending of "Beneath You". I'm guessing that we've had the last bit of give a crap she has to give about the AR after it, though. She didn't frankly care for Buffy's flashback, like the whole show should have just forgotten it more immediately *shrug*. But it was what you like out of good reactors; people reacting emotionally to the most emotionally powerful moments. It's not just emotional voyeurism, there's a search for validation in these reactions. Not that you felt one thing or another, but more that it's legitimate that the show stirred such powerful feeling; it wasn't just you.
