Sorry, not my idea of fun love.
It is complex. It's one of the most complex shows I've ever watched. And Fitz is about as complex of a character as there is anywhere. Also everything they do with Hydra is pretty perfect, and they have plenty of nods to the comics.
TTB you're absolutely right that I shouldn't rely on reviews, but I do nonetheless. It's a bad habit. I do appreciate your positive input. I may try it out now.
Hello cutie

Something I just saw on Tumblr, kind of sums it up:
And boy, has this thread veered away from the Marvel Netflix shows.
You keep waiting for the dust to settle and then you realize it; the dust is your life going on. If happy comes along - that weird unbearable delight that's actual happy - I think you have to grab it while you can. You take what you can get, 'cause it's here, and then...gone.

For what it's worth I have seen all 4 of Cloak & Dagger so far. An enjoyable summer show and when the two leads finally sat down to have a conversation it moved well. Most of the reviews I've seen are neutral to positive. Sort of reminds me of early Sunnydale but with less camp and more narrative darkness but not total bleakness. Although even without watching all the shows mentioned here I feel I can safely assume they're all better then Inhumans.

Some more angst driven plots with less camp then early seasons of Buffy. The creators behind the show have also referenced Buffy once or twice.

Anyone seen season 2 of Iron Fist, yet? I'd say bout the same as S1. Kinda slow with some repetitive dialogue. More Meachum DRAMA! Alice Eve was a nice addition to the cast, though. Also, by the end of the sophomore season was kinda wondering if maybe Oprah had taken over as the showrunner cause...
Only open if you've seen the S2 finale!
Spoiler:
It's not had very good reviews by the looks of it.![]()
Yeah it's not the best. Was mostly a 'bored watch'.![]()

The Marvel shows on Netflix are trying to be good, they have all the things they need to be good, but the writers, or producers or directors, just can't put the pieces together effectively. Except for Jessica Jones, and that lost it's way a little bit in Season 2.
Silver1 (10-09-18)
Thats because they didn't have a have a great villain in the shape of David Tennant anymore.

Didn't care for the villain nor Tenant.![]()
Iron Fist has been cancelled. I'm not surprised. I only watched the first two episodes of the first season and the dialogue was so bad, I couldn't watch anymore. The performances were good, but they needed better writers. I can't believe Daredevil is still going, because the writing of that was pretty poor too.

Good riddance. I slogged thru both seasons just because they were in the netflix marvel verse. Not missing much. Dunno what you got against DD. Speaking of, thankfully DareDevil's returning soon!![]()

I might be too harsh on Daredevil, as I haven't seen it since Season 1. The trouble with all these Marvel Netflix series, for me, is that there's a coldness about them, a distance. It's all head, no guts, no passion. Everything just feels so removed from real emotion, like the writer would rather the audience thought about something then felt it. I can't explain it any better than that. Jessica Jones is the same, but I stick with it because she's a woman and I want to see more female superheroes, so I have to support the ones we have.
Edit to add - and they're all too long, they need to lose at least 3 episodes a season. I think dragging out the story removes me from feeling it.
They're only 13 episodes long already?Although I'll agree on needing more (and better) female (& LGBT) (powered & non) heroes. There are some pretty good recent kick booty female characters on TV of late, tho. See The Widow, Anne Bonny, Eleven, Agent May, Skye & Liz Jenkins. That's not even including the strong minded/willed ones, either...
