Thanks. It looks sort of like an iron fist type thing. I think I'll give it a try. How can I resist the supernatural mixed with humour?

I like who I am when Im with him. I like who we are together.

I can't find my birth certificate. I need to find my birth certificate to prove I have the right to work in this bloody country (I'm not sure I want to work in this country). I go on line to order one and I'm either I'm too bloody thick to understand the website or the website's too complicated. If it's the former, then I'll never get a bloody job so why do I need the certificate? Why is everything so bloody complicated!?

Yeah, I'm having to go through the same thing at the moment. After a lot of faffing about I managed to order a new copy, but god only knows when I'll receive it. They say the 21st of this month, but somehow I think It's going to take longer then that.

Ha...to add insult to bloody injury, in the process of looking for it I found a cheque from the IRS for 85.00 valid for 6 months and dated 2015! Why do I have only 6 months to claim money from them and they have forever to claim it from me?!

Good luck Tribel. In Murica we like to make things as complicated as possible.

Thanks Metda - I've located it. It's at the damned lads' house! They apparently "borrowed" it when they got their passports. I've spent four bloody hours looking for it and I've emptied every drawer in the house onto the floor! FFS! Other people's kids borrow the car or money...

Am hoping to go co Cancun in next year or two. Not really to hit the beach as much as several Mayan ruins in the vicinity.

OMG! I might have to get the new Boom/Dan Mora comic - Once & Future. The hero's a female pensioner who smokes and swears and threatens to break the fingers of the men in her retirement 'cos they want to watch Bake-Off while she's watching the news.

OMG! She's got a rocket launcher and she used to hunt vampires! LOL! It's about Brexit!

Read it and love it! She's great - and her grandson looks like a red-haired Tom Ellis!

You could do both, beach and ruins

Think I've seen some reviews of this, and it's meant to be good.

They sold out of #1 before release - they've done reprints. I might get the TPB.

Once and Future is by Kieron Gillen of "The Wicked + The Divine" fame, which is 1 issue out from ending and has been great. He's also started "Die" with Buffy cover artist Stephanie Hans which has gone back to the printer multiple times. 2nd story arc just started this month.

I think that's just a BOOM seling tactic - all their comics probably go to reprints because they print so few in the first place maybe

Yeah...that's what I thought. That aside, I'm on an economy drive (which doesn't include Doc Martens - particularly TARTAN Doc Martens ) so I read it "for free". I'm (selectively) rebelling against consumerism.

How do you read it for free?

BOOM! must be the most capitalist comic book publishers in the world, they squeeze every drop of coin out of their readers. Kudos to their marketing team

I imagine that if you sold most of your Doc's you could live quite happily for years to come

Yeah...I'm so relieved it's not just me who's buying 'em! It's nice to know there's an upside to the omnishambling clusterf*** masquerading as British Politics.

Does anyone know if there is a way to find the comments you have left on other people's fics on AO3 without having to go through 100 pages of comments? I want to leave a comment on a fic and I am not sure if I maybe have already done that.
