I've taken the Myers Briggs test a few times over the years and nearly always come up as INTJ. INFJ is the only other one I've been given as a result. I can see them as pretty good general fits although definitely think some things are a bit off whilst other aspects I definitely recognise myself in.

I'm a ESFJ-A and that doesn't seem to match any buffy characters.

I like who I am when Im with him. I like who we are together.

Well my results could put me alongside Mandela, Mother Teresa and MLK or a type that includes Putin or GoT Baelish and Tywin Lannister!! Luckily there are a variety of examples of well known examples in each personality type.

Oh, cool! Yeah, I see myself a lot in the INFJ type (I was a bit thrown by the real life examples though, lol). I read up on it more (instead of just skimming) and it's scary that a test can know your personality intimately like that - some of it is exactly accurate, the rest of it very close. If you got INFJ at one point too, then we may be similar But INTJ is quite distinct and seems the rarest. They both seem like rare personality types from what I've gathered.

eta: Oh and that would make you an 'Architect' - which sounds way cool.

Ha, I know, I've got a real inner duality if you consider the famous examples of both my results.

Some of it is crazy in how much it sounds like you're being described, but other bits do feel off for sure. If I put effort into examining the descriptions for both the results I get it could possibly show how aspects of INTJ which I tend to get most often that don't fit well to how I actually am are better fitted to the INFJ personality set. I don't know. It's interesting though and especially when you really can see some of yourself described in them.

I only had a quick look at the screenrant article giving the BtVS characters a type. They seem to have just read the main descriptions and based their picks on who they felt it sounded like it was describing. But the reasoning for Spike's INFJ was ropey, well as they sparsely provided it anyway. I'm always dubious of articles when they describe Spike as being evil, like they are stuck in early S4/5 and ignore the later character path/developments ("Sure, even though he's evil, Buffy still falls for him, so we end up having a bit of a soft spot for him."). But I can see traits of the INFJ working for Spike. It would take time I don't have to look at the different types and put proper thought into which is better fitted to each character. I do like the idea of considering them this way though.

At 90 minutes into the 1999 Champions League final, I switched the TV set off. Man United were 0-1 down to Bayern Munich and I didn't want to see the German side win. I turned the TV back on 10 minutes later to find UNITED celebrating - they'd scored two goals in extra time.

Today, twenty years later, I learned George Best actually left the stadium after 90 minutes.

I don't know whether to be pleased because I'm in such illustrious company or upset because a hero was a bigger bloody idiot than me.

Perhaps that's your next game? If the world hasn't come to its natural end before the present one's finished.

Taking a turn at the games takes moments and is lighthearted fun, working out personality analyses for the BtVS characters would be cerebrally taxing, not what I'm looking for in the games. Or often outside of them either.

I'm re-watcing Star Trek TNG on Netflix. Frankly it's dated, and therefore an odd watch.

Imo the whole series builds up to be light years better then Star Trek Discovery.

I'm still in S1 and there are a couple of episodes that were so dated/cringey that I just couldn't watch, but the good ones are pretty good. I remember loving it 30 years ago, so I'm sure it gets better. When do The Borg arrive?

Never cared for next gen (or deep sleep nine). Discovery got much better in S2.

Season 2? Never cared for the Borg, I was more involved with the more intimate tales such as 'Inner Light'.

In what way, do you mean as characters or as a concept?

I love the Doctor! All the best characters are on Voyager . . . or they were when I watched it back in the day. When I rewatch it now, I might not find it as fun as I thought it was.
