I was just watching "Listening to fear" and I got chills when Joyce says "Dawn, she not mine. Is she?" And just that whole scene with Buffy promising to protect Dawn no matter what. "No matter what she is, she still feels like my daughter. I have to know that you'll take care of her, that you'll keep her safe. That you'll love her like I love you." :cutecry:

I also get chills when watching "The Wish." The scene towards the end when Angel and Willow get staked and Buffy gets bitten.

In "Offspring" when Darla is begging Angel to kill her and he realizes the baby has a heartbeat.

"Darla. Darla, listen to me." "The child. The child has a heartbeat. It has a soul."

"Our child. Our child. Our child. That's why you've been craving purer and purer blood. That's why it's been driving you out of your mind. It has a soul."

In "Forgiving" when Angel tries to smother Wesley at the hospital.

"You son of a bitch, you're gonna pay for what you did! You took my son! You son of a bitch! You bastard!"

"You think I'd forgive you?! No! Never! You're gonna die! You hear me? You're gonna pay!"

"You're dead! You're a dead man, Pryce! You're dead! I'll kill you! I'll kill you. You're a dead man! Dead!"

In "Power play" when Angel sets up the glamour and tells the gang his plan. " Let's be clear. I'm talking about killing every... single...member... of the Black Thorn. We don't walk away from that."

I get chills all through out "Never fade away."

Well that's all I can remember right now. And you?

I get chills during that awesome score of "Chosen."

But what really gives me icky creepy chills is that monster in "Same Time, Same Place" because, um, eeeewwwww. I have to turn away as it is just too much for me. I don't like horror movies and gore and that ep creeps me out. Yuck.

But I know the kind of chills you are talking about aren't the icky ones. :p But I stand by my "Chosen" chils. :D Also, "Inside Out" gets me during Skip's speech about how things had to happen in order for Jasmine to come about.

I get chills throughout Chosen as well, and funnily enough I got chills during The Chain when the demon is lifting the Buffy decoy's body up for all to see.

For me it has to be 'Two to go'

"are we really gonna do this?"

It's that one line that gives me the goosebumps cos you know they are and you know the history and you know what it means.

Well, for me anyway.

Passion with the rising music when Giles discover Jenny...
The Prom "Is Buffy Summers here"
The Prom When Giles is talkig about surprising people and Angel shows up
Graduation Day part 2 when the vampires are gonna attack the students and they strike back
The Body when Buffy says "we're not supposed to move the body" and just like that realise her mother's dead
Intervention when Buffy kisses Spike and he realise she's not BuffBot
After life When Spike recognize the real Buffy
Grave When Willow attack Xander the first time with the purple thunder-like and...god the look on her face
Grave When she claws him and he gets up and says "I love you"
CWDP "she's still singing"
Chosen Goddess Willow
Chosen "I want you to get out of my face"

That's the ones I can remmeber of
But as chills factor, I think the "I love you" Grave moment is the chiller for me...

I always, no matter how many times I watch it, get chills during that scene. We really get to see how much and how strong of a bond Buffy has with her mother. It's really sweet, and one of the last very serious conversations Buffy has with her mother before she passes away. :(

I also get chills when Dark Willow breaks down and crys at the end of Grave, when Xander tells her he loves her.

This scene takes the cake, the Fred/Wesley/Illyria scene:

Illyria - Would you like me to lie to you now?
Wesley - Yes.Thank you. Yes. Hello there.
Fred - Oh, Wesley. My Wesley.
Wesley - Fred. I've missed you.
Fred - It's gonna be OK. It won't hurt much longer, and then you'll be where I am. We'll be together.
Wesley - I—I love you.
Fred - I love you. My love. Oh, my love.

Just heartbreaking! :cutecry:

"are we really gonna do this?"

It's that one line that gives me the goosebumps cos you know they are and you know the history and you know what it means.

Well, for me anyway.

Not only for you! That scene is the first one that lept into my mind when I read the topic!

And Dark Willow "One down....." the look on her face just stops my heart!

The entire conversation between Angel and Cordy in "You're Welcome" gets me every time, no matter how many times I watch it - "Angel, there ARE no people like us..." :cutecry:

I also get chills in "Angel" when he says "Let's just say I'm a friend."

Buffy: "Maybe I don't need a friend."

Angel: "I didn't say I was yours."

In School Hard when Spike sees Buffy dancing in the Bronze -

"Woah" I will always think Spike fell in love with Buffy in that moment. The look on his face.....it just took them awhile to get together. (And I am definitely NOT Spuffy) I am very neutral between Spuffy and Bangel....oops, got a little off topic there......

Lovers Walk - the whole conversation with Spike and Willow - the first time you see it, you wonder if Spike really IS going to put the bottle through Will's face......

Echoing everyone else, all throughout Chosen. Everything (even "Dumbass." Because that was so very Joss, and I thought we might not get to see Dawn and Buffy making fun of each other again). The score is probably the best ever on the show, although it did seem as though they tried to cram too much into the episode and it was all a bit too much for my head.

Also, the scene in Graduation Day 2 where all the students pick up their weapons. That was a very epic "unity" moment.

The Gift where Buffy is beating down Glory, and she finally says "You're a god. Make it stop." It was the moment we'd been waiting for since Glory first appeared. Also the beginning, and Buffy saying "Tell me to kill my sister." And of course, the end, but that's more with the crying than the chills.

Bargaining 2, when Buffy goes up to the tower, presumably to try to kill herself. It's a very "ouch" moment. As a counterpart, we have when Buffy gets revived the first time, and she immediately starts kicking ass. That was another "we all were waiting for this" scene.

This is an obscure moment, but I got the chills at the beginning of This Year's Girl when Faith and Buffy are making the bed in Faith's dream and Faith says something like 'I know, little sis is coming'...I just watched this ep last night, and I was like whoa...is that supposed to be a foreshadowing of Dawn in S5?

Probably not - but it still gave me the chills...:p

Another ep that gave my the chills was when Spike attacked Willow in the Initiative...that was so damn creepy with him turning up the music and pinning her down on the bed and her fighting him...I found that scene so much more disturbing than the one in Seeing Red for some reason.

Oh man just reading through this thread gave me the chills!

Off the top of my head:-

- Angel lying on the floor calling "Buuffffyyyyy!" at the end of "Surprise" while she sleeps unaware in his bed.
- Angel's "And yet I can't seem to care" as he locks the lawyers in the wine cellar.
- Just thinking about Anya's speech in The Body
- "The hardest thing in this world is to live in it"
- "Understand we'll go hand in hand. But we'll walk alone in fear. "

I'm fairly certain there are hundreds more

Anya's speech is also what gives me the chills. Every single time. I also get the teary eyes happening at the same time since it's sooooooo sad. Some other ones are:
~In S5's "Enemies" when Buffy calls Faith a loser. You know someone was gonna get a beat down. Whether it was Faith or Buffy I didn't care too much. It was chill worthy. :p
~Another fantastic chill worthy moment was in S6's "Grave" when Dark Willow says "You remember that little spat we had before you left? When you were under the delusion that you were still relevent here. You called me a rank, arrogant amateur. Well buckle up Rupert......*voice deepens, eyes go black* cause I've turned pro!" :eviltail: If that scene didn't give you chills. You may need to have yourself checked. :D

That's all I can think of at the moment but there are probably more.

I would have to say that the number one scene that actually raised goosebumps was the scene in School Hard when Spike gazes at Buffy in the Bronze. We'd already had a taste of his arrogance and murderous violence, and there was something absolutely predatory about his facial expression and body language. Kudos to James Marsters------I've never been that scared by a scene in movies or tv before or since.

The most chilling moments for me were in "The Prom," when Buffy got recognition that she deserved, in "Graduation Day," when all of Class of '99 unites against a common enemy, the score in the end of "The Gift," and the score in "Chosen." Every time I watch that part in "The Prom," it never fails, I always cry a little, like people sometimes do at movies.

Passions was pretty creepy...but it sorta lost creepyness because when giles was walking up the stairs you new that he was going to find miss calender dead....but it was still sad/freaky
and i found after life shivers down my spine worthy especialy when anya got taken over by the demon that "hitched a ride" (i mean cutting hr self and that laugh...eww)

When I saw this thread the thing that instantly burst into my mind was in The Body when Buffy is telling Dawn that their mother is dead. I think it's because you don't really hear what Buffy says and you just see Dawn's reaction and it's really dramatic and the looks on the other students and the teacher's faces.

I'm sure there are loads of other things that gave me chills, but that was the one that came to me, if I really thought about it there's bound to be loads more.

Most scenes that gave me chills have already been mentioned like the recognition in The Prom and scenes from The Body etc.

I will just add the one that hasn't been mentioned and which I found really creepy, chilly, and sad. When Cordy was lying in the church while Connor was doing his monologue of denial that he thought this was what Cordy wanted blah blah blah. The sight of Cordy lying there on the altar like that was also just morbid.

I get chills during that awesome score of "Chosen".

I share your Chosen chills, hehe.

The scene where we see Spike turn to ash is very powerful. I had already heard that he was coming back in Angel before I saw Chosen so I didn't expect to feel any sense of loss but even knowing he would eventually be okay, seeing him "die" was really hard. "I wanna see how it ends" are words that will always stick with me.

Oooo I agree with you here on both points! Chosen is an adrenaline chill that lasts pretty long! Loved that fight and loved the music!

And ST,SP is one of those episodes that I can't really watch again. I've seen it twice, and that's more then enough!

I get chills from episodes like I Will Remember You, that scene before the time rewinds and Buffy and Angel are hugging and crying :(
The Prom has the same effect on me when Buffy get's her award for Class Protector, that's very emotional!

I've got a thing with music behind a scene.
The episode with Buffy and Parker doing gymnastics (lol) and Bif Naked on the background 'The Lucky Ones', that gives me chills. That song still gives me chills when I listen to it btw, it's just really beautiful.
Oh and Walk through the Fire, that song gives me the chills too.

There are numerous moments, but I'll stick with these for now :)

You know, Conversations with Dead People scared me too. It was actually the only episode that really creeped me out, and it was mainly because of the things that The First kept doing to Dawn. The scenes where The First was telling Willow to commit suicide were chilling too, but it was the stuff that happened in Buffy's house that reminded me of a haunting movie.

hmmm...I just watched Beneath You again tonight, and I must say James Marsters's performance in that episode gave me the chills...from the bronze scene when he's vamping out and goading Buffy into a fight - to the alley scene when he stabbed the demon/guy and totally wigs out - and then especially the church scene....his 'shame on you Buffy' and his 'to be the kind of man who would never...to be the kind of man' totally gave me the goosebumps....'she will look on him with forgiveness....and he will be loved' that line totally makes me cry everytime...he almost reminds me of a lost little boy - like Oliver Twist - that just needs a little bit of compassion and love. My heart bleeds for him in that scene. Then of course the major chill factors come on when he lies on the cross to 'rest'. James Marsters should have received an Oscar for that scene....:worthy:

haha well, I have to join the bandwagon and say that Conversations With Dead People gave me chills, when we flashed to Joyce on the couch, her face the way it was.

Probably the top moment though is during Inside Out, when that creepy little piano ditty plays as Connor drags the girl, and Cordelia has that smug look on her face.

What else?...
Passion, when Angelus "does the deed". That's awful.
The Body, when Buffy briefly fantasises about having saved her mum, then cut back to the body.

hmm... I guess I'm a little stuck. It's been a long time since I've watched Buffy or Angel.

Hmm first chills (or a 'whoah' moment) .. or maybe chills in order
When Buffy kills the Master "save the hypnosis crap for the tourists".. plus when she smashes his bones, that really effects me because I can imagine how freeing it would be to take a hammer to your problems.
When she lifts up the rocket launcher in Innocence, and when she kicks Angelus in the balls... plus "just let it burn"
Willow/Xander crayon moment in Grave.
Chosen with the music and 'get out of my face'

Biggest chills from Angel would be in Power Play when they all raise their hands in order of their introduction to the show, and relationship to Angel; Spike, Wesley, Gunn, Lorne. It's so perfect.
Kinda get chills in Soul Purpose when Angel walks away as Spike is made human.
Maybe Epiphany also when Angel goes to Wesley's apartment and they have the friendship moment, which is then undercut because Angel's been a dick :p 'Invite me in!'
'Well maybe if you'd show a bit of interest' lol

Chills moments:

Giles return in Two to go "I'd like to test that theory"

Buffy in Chosen "I want you to get out of my face." Thinking about the look SMG has on her face, as she delivers that line, is giving me chills now.

The big reveal in Enemies as the audience, along with Faith, finds out that Buffy and Angel have played her. "Worlds second best".

Buffy finding Joyce on the couch in The Body. "Mommy?"

Buffy's heartfelt, "I'm 16 years old, I don't want to die" from Prophecy Girl.

The scene in Surprise when the errie music starts as Buffy is thrown into the water.

Buffy's cross leaving an impression in Angel's chest in Angel.

"You're about to get it back" Buffy to Faith before she stabs her in Graduation Day.

Buffy saving the Potentials from the Ubervamps as she kicks the manhole cover and jumps down to their level. (Can't remember the name of the ep)

The one sided conversation from Joyce to Buffy in Normal again. I believe in you Buffy.

Xanders declaration to Anya that he is painfully in love with her and that he thought she might want to know.

Willow breaking down over Tara's dead body.

Spike in Chosen as he knows he is about to die.

sueworld
08-10-07, 09:02 PM
For me it would also be "I'd like to test that theory". I remember I first saw a preview copy of that episode at a private function in the UK and the audience went ballistic when he delivered that line. :D

For Angel it would be : "Lets go to work'' in NFA.

The scenes that give me the Creeps the Most are as follows:
-Angel and Cordy's conversation in "You're Welcome". Just to think that this is the Last time that we see or hear Cordy.Plus It gives me Chill once You realized that she was Never really there in the First Place.

-Doyle's Death in Hero, Enuff said about it Great character, Sad death

-I get chills from episodes like I Will Remember You, that scene before the time rewinds and Buffy and Angel are hugging and crying
I agree, Its Bonechilling and very Sad

~Another fantastic chill worthy moment was in S6's "Grave" when Dark Willow says "You remember that little spat we had before you left? If that scene didn't give you chills. You may need to have yourself checked. I have Chills just thinking about all of the scenes in this thread. Especially this one.

Here's an original one- Buffy's Speech in Chosen Where she Says: "So here's the part where you make a choice: What if you could have that power...now? In every generation, one slayer is born... because a bunch of men who died thousands of years ago made up that rule. They were powerful men. This woman (points to Willow) is more powerful than all of them combined. (Willow whimpers) So I say we change the rule. I say my power...is our Power.

Man, was Buffy big with the chills. Both scary and uplifting. Here are what were most notable to me:

Nightmares: "Smoking kills."
Lie To Me: Buffy hears Spike and his lackeys arrive in their cars.
Passion: La Boheme playing as Giles.... well, you know what happens.
Becoming, part 1: "Let's get what we came for, dears."
Becoming, part 2: "You leave this house, don't you even think about coming back."
Anne: "I'm Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And you are?"
The Wish: Anything that was slow-motion chilled me
Amends: Freakin' snow!
Helpless: Holy water.
Earshot: Buffy's speech. Amazing.
Graduation Day, part 2: Sunnydale High students unite.
Hush: Outside Stevenson building, Tara looks over her shoulder to see......
This Year's Girl: The last line.
Family: "We're family."
The Body: "Mommy..."
The Gift: Holy ending!
Villains: "Bored now." LIFT!
Lessons: Warren/Glory/Adam/Mayor/Dru/Master/Buffy
Conversations with Dead People: "Not it. Me."
Storyteller: "Stop! Stop making stories! Life isn't a story!"
Chosen: "I want you... to get out of my face!" CUE: MUSIC!

A few more?
Hush is chilling. The whole episode, aha.

The climax of The Wish... that gives me chills. Angel dies, Xander dies, Willow dies, Buffy dies...

The end of Becoming, part I... when Buffy runs in slow-mo (if she hadn't she might have got there on time) to find Kendra's body, with the Whistler voice-over... that's beautiful.

Holland Manners in the elevator during Reprise. That is so cool. One of my favourite Angel episodes, both his appearance, and the things he says, give me the chills.

One other that i thought was really creepy/chills was Anya dragging the knife across her face in Afterlife (underated ep in my opinion).

The most chilling moment is IMO the last scene in Double or Nothing of Ats.
Angel who is putting away the little bed of Connor.

I cry really quick, and I can lose myself in episodes so there are a lot of chilling moments for me. But the one above is so beautiful and heartbreaking.

Also high ranked moments;

The first minutes in The Body.
Angel's 'thank you' in You're Welcome.
The first meeting between Buffy and Angelus in Innocence.
Passion is one big chilling moment.
The last scene in Never Fade Away.

BlasterBoy

There are two big chill moments. The first is, "Mom? Mom? Mommy?" Amazing. And SMG's acting is SO good in that scene. SO good!

And the second is the Class Protector Speech in The Prom! That's the most chilling scene in both series, imo. Love it so much! The music in that scene and the look on Buffy's face is just priceless.

I don't any scene in Buffy ever came close to

"
Willow: Who Are You?

CASSIE Suicide thing was too far, huh? Hmm. You seemed so ripe.

WILLOW Tell me who you are.

CASSIE (leans forward) I stand by my opinion. The world would be a better place if you took a razorblade to your wrist -

WILLOW Stop.

CASSIE I can see it now. (stands) Candlelight, the Indigo Girls playing, picture of your dead girlfriend on your bloody lap.

WILLOW Stop it!

CASSIE (mocking) Oh, baby, you left such a big hole. It hurt so bad. (serious, leans in) You don't know hurt. This last year's gonna seem like cake after what I put you and your friends through, and I am not a fan of easy death. Fact is, the whole good-versus-evil, balancing the scales thing - I'm over it. I'm done with the mortal coil. But believe me, I'm going for a big finish.

WILLOW From beneath you, it devours.

CASSIE (leans back) Oh, not it. Me. "

Or even the speech Joyce delivers.. or what Holden says about Spike.. that episode was the biggest "edge off your seat eppy ever"..

I always get chills when the sinister music comes on during Buffy and Xanders makeup scene in the garden during 'Seering Red' and then when Warren points the gun and we see Tara get shot. The whole thing gives me chills.

I referred to this scene in the best speeches thing. Buffy's speech in "Bring on the Night" gives me chills, specifically when she declares that the Hellmouth, which she knows is about to swallow her whole, with choke on her.

I think I love it because it sounds like she has already decided they are all going to die, but in turn has decided that they will die well, which is a pretty awesome and heroic kind of moment, iconic, really.

It's even cooler when she just, bloody lip and cheeks aside, throws out a classic Snotty Buffy "Any questions?" at the end of the speech.

A lot of scenes give me chills, every single time. But I have to say that the scenes that affect me most are in "Passion" (the entire episode, including the voiceovers), "Beneath You" (the last scene with Spike, amazing), Becoming 2 (especially the last scene), "The Body" and Villains. These are some of the episodes that give me goosebumps and even creep me out.

One scene that will always stay with me is when Joice is talking to the Queller Demon on the ceiling, after Buffy and Dawn bring her home from the hospital. That scene really freaked me out.
In fact, that whole episode freaked me out.

I'd have to say there were a few that made me want to sleep with the lights on ;)

- Anya dragging the knife across her face in "After Life"
- Gnarl's sing-song creepy voice in "Same Time, Same Place"
- The Queller demon in "Listening to Fear" (actually, for me that one was more of a gag moment...) Also coupled with Joyce talking to it *shudder*
- Dawn's shrieky, eery voice in "After Life"

That's all I can really think of for now, but I'm sure I'll be coming up with more later - even just thinking about Gnarl gives me creeps now! :s

Superstition.

I could think of hundreds, but here's one from each season:

"I don't care! I don't care. Giles, I'm sixteen years old. I don't want to die."

"That's everything, huh? No weapons, no friends. No hope. Take all that away and what's left?"
"Me."

"Strong is fighting! It's hard, and it's painful, and it's every day. It's what we have to do. And we can do it together. But if you're too much of a coward for that, then burn. If I can't convince you that you belong in this world, then I don't know what can..."

"I have no speech. No name. I live in the action of death. The blood cry, the penetrating wound. I am destruction. Absolute ... alone."
"The Slayer."
"The first."

"You are going to do what's right, Tara. Now I am taking you out of here before somebody DOES get killed. The girl belongs with her family, I hope that's clear to the rest of you."
"It is. You want her, Mr. Maclay, you can go ahead and take her. (beat)
You just gotta go through me."

"You're right. The magics I used are very powerful. I'm very powerful. And maybe it's not such a good idea for you to piss me off..."

"I'm beyond tired. I'm beyond scared. I'm standing on the mouth of Hell, and it is gonna swallow me whole. And it'll choke on me. We're not ready? They're not ready. They think we're gonna wait for the end to come, like we always do. I'm done waiting. They want an apocalypse? Oh, we'll give 'em one. Anyone else who wants to run, do it now. 'Cause we just became an army. We just declared war. From now on, we won't just face our worst fears, we will seek them out. We will find them, and cut out their hearts one by one, until The First shows itself for what it really is. And I'll kill it myself. There is only one thing on this earth more powerful than evil, and that's us. Any questions?"

"We're not waiting for that to happen. We will wipe you out. Not just monsters anymore. It's you against the world. You're at war with the human race."
"Oh. [beat] 'Kay."

I like that approach.

Prophecy Girl --

"I'm not okay. I knew those guys. I go to that room every day.
And when I walked in there, it... it wasn't our world anymore. They made
it theirs. And they had fun. What are we
gonna do?

"What we have to."

When She Was Bad --

"If they hurt Willow I'll kill you."

Enemies --

"If you kill me, you become me."

Who Are You? --

"What do you want from he-her?"

No Place Like Home --

"Human. Now human. And helpless."

"She's not my sister."

"She doesn't know that."

Grave --

"First day of kindergarten. You cried because you broke the yellow crayon, and you were too afraid to tell anyone. You've come pretty far, ending the world, not a terrific notion. But the thing is? Yeah. I love you. I loved crayon-breaky Willow and I love ... scary veiny Willow. So if I'm going out, it's here. If you wanna kill the world? Well, then start with me. I've earned that."

"You think I won't?"

"It doesn't matter. I'll still love you."

"Shut up."

Potential --

"You're not special. You're extraordinary."

Anywhere But Here --

"I chose her over you."

"This is the first domino."

"You're my sister, Dawn." (hug in Bargaining)

"It was so... clear... on this spot."

"Run." (Into the Woods)

"Look at her that way again, and she will be the last thing you ever see."

"You're immortal, she's not. It's not. I married my Edna May in ought-three and I was with her right until the end. Not a pretty picture. Wrinkled and senile and cursing me for my youth. Wasn't our happiest time. And let's not forget the fact that any moment of true happiness will turn you evil. I mean, come on. What kind of a life can you offer her? I don't see a lot of Sunday picnics in the offing. I see skulking in the shadows, hiding from the sun. She's a blossoming young girl and you want to keep her from the life she should have until it has passed her by. My God! I think that's a little selfish. "

Okay, top four that immediately spring to mind are:

1. In Inside Out, when Connor says "You are not my mother!" and then drags the hostage girl away for Jasmine-Cordy to slaughter as J-C follows evilly behind, all in slow-motion to that wonderfully creepy and eerie "Evil J-C theme," and then when at the last minute Darla's face appears on the girls' and she begs Connor to stop it, only for J-C to kill her in one fell swoop with relish, spraying Connor with blood.....damn, that just makes me want to watch it again every time I think of it, with that music and everything....*shivers*

2. Angel trying to kill Wes in Forgiving--damn, just damn.....

3. The whole possession scene in IOHEFY--that scene is just so beautiful and haunting and amazing, the culmination of everything that had come before it, and DB and SMG did a fantastic job with this.....*chills*

4. Spike's beautiful and touching speech to Buffy in Touched, which is the best love speech I've ever seen on TV....

The entire episode of "Passions". It just creeps me out, and it doesn´t change after a lot of viewings. His voiceovers are just creepy but they sound so true. When Giles finds Jenny, omg.

IOHEFY - The part where Buffy and Angel are possessed. Wow, really amazing.
The entire episode of "The Body" and CWDP.
I´m sure there are a few more but these are the more serious ones.

Conversations With Dead People - the entire episode gives me chills. It's probably the only episode that caused me to have bad dreams.

The Episode in S6 (Though I can't remember which one) when Buffy tells Spike that she was in Heaven. That disturbed me more than anything, and I was thoroughly depressed for at least a week afterwards (that's how deeply effected by this show I am)

Listening to Fear - That freaky alien creature is probably the grossest things ever imagined. Made me sick to my stomach.

Forever - The scene where Buffy and Dawn are arguing, and you see Joyce's shadow cross the window, her body appears to be slighly disfigured and truly creepy. Sends HUGE chills down my spine.

Becoming Part II: When Buffy is battling Angelus, he points the sword towards her, and utters:

Angelus: "So that's it. No friends...no hope. Take all that away, and what are you left with?"
Buffy: "Me.."

The Prom: When Buffy recieves her "Class Protector" award.

Primeval: When Xander, Buffy, Willow, and Giles combine their essenses to make the perfect being. That was just so amazing.

The Body: When Buffy discovers her mother's dead body: "Mom?.....Mom?.....Mommy?"

Buffy: "We're not supposed to move the body!!"

Dawn's reaction to finding out Joyce is dead, and watching her meltdown.

Willow & Tara's first onscreen kiss.

Anya: "Because I don't understand! I don't understand how this happens, how we go through this. I mean I knew her, and she's just a body, and I don't understand why she just can't get back in it. It's stupid. It's mortal and stupid! And Xander's crying and not saying anything, and I was having fruit punch, and I thought well, Joyce will never have anymore fruit punch, and she'll never have eggs, or yawn, or brush her hair, not ever, and no one will explain to me why!"

The Gift: When Buffy realizes what she must do, and sacrifices herself.

Buffy's Headstone:

Buffy Summers
1980-2001
Loving Sister, Devoted Friend
She Saved The World A Lot

Grave: Xander: "Remember in Kindergarten when you broke the yellow crayon. You've come a long way. Ending the world, not a terrific notion, but yeah, I love you. I love crayon-breaky Willow, and I love scary-veiny Willow."

Willow and Xander crying in each other's arms.

Conversations With Dead People: When Dawn is trying to save her mother from the evil entity, and she never gives up, no matter what is hurled at her.

Chosen: Willow using the essense of the Sythe to awaken the potential slayers.

When Willow becomes a Goddess.

Buffy's stirring speech to everyone about her plan to awaken the slayers, and her pointing out that Willow is more powerful than all those men combined.
