Hi!

Well I’ve just read the first two episodes of SS. First thoughts… interesting beginning. I like how you’ve taken a moment, very insignificant in Buffy and completely blown it up and turned it into something huge. Firstly on Xakiel (love the name by the way)… gives off a very Angel-esque vibe, to me at least - quite dark, tortured and mysterious, but at the same time not… he doesn’t appear as closed as Angel.

Just a slight nitpick, “each other” is two words, in every instance it was mentioned it was written as though it was one and in all honesty, your previously’s take forever, the whole point of them is to get the basic crucial information and to get straight to the point, I do avoid them but then I find it difficult to find the start of the episode, anyway it’s not a big deal ;).

And Rack… look what you’ve done with the guy, you’ve given him a heart! I like how you’ve used Rack and given him more layers, he’s not just creepy dealer guy, he has a daughter. I’m interested to know the deal between Rack, Charlie and this protection they need. With Charlie’s dreams, I’m guessing she’s the daughter and Sephy’s her mother or something? There's definitely a juicy history there though.

Cate… Cate, Cate, Cate. I’m loving her already and I can completely see why you cast Amanda Seyfried to play her (from her role in Mean Girls), she’s cute and a little dim witted, I’m thinking she’ll be interesting. I like the slow introduction into the show, you appear to be slowly trickling in the introduction to characters instead of slamming them all into the first episode, which is what most writers seem to do.

You’ve done a good job so far, well done :D.

Firstly, thanks so much for reading! :)

In response to your feedback:

So pleased you love Xakiel's name. I don't know where it came from but I knew I wanted to make it up and it just came to me! Haha!

In regards to the word "eachother" thanks so much i'll be sure to remember that and edit. It doesn't come up for some reason in my MS Word?! Weird! Plus the earlier episodes don't have any editors properly, Alex just scanned them to check. But I will amend so thank you! Also about my "previously ons", they almost completely disappear in Season 2, or at least they're much shorter. I know what you mean, the 1.02 one is immensely long, but the others aren't :)

Pleased you're intrigued by the dreams and you like the way I am introducing the characters. With Cate, and Toole who you will meet soon, it wouldn't have worked to have them all meet in the first episode, it wouldn't have worked and would have been mega forced!

Pleased you're enjoying it thought! :) It means a lot that i'm getting more readers!

Just so you know I will be posting my Index thread sometime next week, along with the rest of the episodes. Just takes some time to get everything online with the forum change-over! :)

Lex, all I have to say is OH MY GOD! :xd

Shadow Stalker is such a great fan – fic, I read it and it kind of caught me off guard. To be honest when I first hear of SS I thought it would be lame. But I was 100% wrong. GREAT! BRAVO! I love how you took that one dragon and turned it into a storyline with characters. I would have never thought of that but you did. I love the characters especially Cate. She is so freakin funny I laugh at everything that comes from her mouth. I also like how you gave Rack a back story with his daughter and such. I have to say two thumbs up for SS. It’s very exciting to read, looks like you found your self a new fan. I will be reading more, cant wait.

P.S. Keep up the good work :2party:

Thanks so much for reading Kevin! :) I'm so pleased.

In all honesty, the premise when you explain it does sound lame! But all I ask of people is that they give the series a chance and read 1.01 :)

As it can be seen in your case it's so worth it, which is so amazing to me as the creator/writer.

Glad you're loving Cate and Rack/Charlie, but everything is soon to change i'm sure! Look forward to hearing your future thoughts!! Thanks again!

Oo, 3.04 is fantastic Lex, I loved Macie Can't believe she died :(! and the twist at the end was OMGz worthy. I am a little shady with my memories of one of those characters so I shall have to go back and read some earlier episodes methinks, but I am excited about the new characters and how they're going to screw things up :D Also loved the bold font of DOOM.

Excellent work as always mister!

Ah yes Macie...

Bit of a one hit wonder i'm afraid. But I loved her too. She was a clever character to show the ordinary world's gradual awareness of the demon world!

In regards to...

Brogan and Kaia. Kaia has never been in SS before and is a new character but obviously Brogan has. He featured in 1.11 and 1.15 in flashbacks Xak was having to when he lived in Glory's dimension. You don't actually need to know anything about him other than that he was a human trying to help Xak by feeding him and letting him know about what was going on in the outside world. That's it...3.05 will explain everything and even include those Season 1 flashbacks :)

So glad you loved though Alexos, and thanks for feedback! Makes a change to see some! :)

P.S Bold font of doom is ace.

Okay, I found this worthy to post as my first one on the (new) forums. I still have to upload things.. er.. anyway, moving on!

"3.05 - When the Walls Bled" took time coming out, but that made it better in the end! I absolutely loved this episode. There were honestly only a few little nitpicky things that I didn't like, but that's just me being hateful. :P

Storyline:
I liked the plot for it, giving us a real glimpse into Xakiel's past that we've all been on the edge of our seats to hear. It tied the past and the present together nicely, instead of jumping backwards and forwards constantly like a lot of shows do. That gets on my nerves, so I'm glad that this episode didn't go down that route.

I was sad when the elders died, and especially when Smith was the one left standing. :\ Bastard. Ursula cracks me up, and I'm not even really sure why. I think she has a pure heart, wanting to guide the kids and not hide anything from them. She still is with them, too, which is good.

The only question I have that's itching at me now is .. who tf is Xak's real mother? :[

Ea Brogan
Goodie. :x I love him. I think he's going to be a great addition to the cast, and Jensen as his PB makes it hotter. He's a good guy, the only bad thing about him is where he's fallen for Kaia. I'll get onto that, later.

He's stayed Xak's best friend all these years, he was only protecting him in the battle.. Squee, Xak has a best friend again! :]

Kaia Thorn
Gag me. I'm sorry, but she's selfish. It seems she's really willing to do anything to get back with Xak, even ruin his new life. Xak had no decision in becoming the Shadow Stalker, losing his memories, his feelings, etc. Kaia is still driven by being with him, and .. gag me.

I just don't like her. :\ I guess I was expecting more of an Addison Montgomery-Shepard, but got a different girl. Bah. Like I said earlier, it's me, though.

Trafford & Elise / Shelter & Constance
Oooh. Sexy healers, and a girl who can blend in. :P I like Trafford, and I have a soft spot for Elise. I feel bad for them because of Smith, and I kind of wish Trafford could have just punched him -- but then again, this is a good show, not a overdramatic soap opera. :P Shelter was interesting, it gave us another character who I want to know more of a backstory for. As for Constance, I like her, I just wasn't immediately drawn to her. Just me being nitpicky with so many fresh characters, though.

Suspiria & Kalipso
Omg, thank you for naming the other two Gods. Yes, I'm extremely weird, but by god I wanted them named. xD It bothered me, but they're pretty neat.. I want to know more about them, and especially the arguement, but I guess we might find out in the next episode? (since it is named after one. :p)

Dante/Lance
is hot. (so sue me, I have to mention it. :])

Hey Jared! :) So glad you joined! I'm gonna answer in spoiler tags for those who have not read yet ;)

Thanks, it was SUCH a hard episode to write considering the immense number of things that needs to be addressed in it, so i'm pleased you feel it worked.

I was sad when the elders died, and especially when Smith was the one left standing. :\ Bastard. Ursula cracks me up, and I'm not even really sure why. I think she has a pure heart, wanting to guide the kids and not hide anything from them. She still is with them, too, which is good.

I love Ursula, she's such a funny little woman and has much to offer the series. As to Smith, yes he is a bastard haha, and the elders had to die because I couldn't get ALL these characters into the series and it was a real turning point for all the syndicate. However they will pop up again...

The only question I have that's itching at me now is .. who tf is Xak's real mother? :[

Xak's mother will be revealed, but I will not say who. Also don't forget there's an issue on who is dad is as well "in life, his father was a good man"...?

Ea Brogan
Goodie. :x I love him. I think he's going to be a great addition to the cast, and Jensen as his PB makes it hotter. He's a good guy, the only bad thing about him is where he's fallen for Kaia. I'll get onto that, later.

Yes! Xak has a bessie mate again, but I'm trying to be really careful in making sure he does not replace Toole. They're very different people. Yes I know he's fallen for Kaia and it is bad...again it's all gonna work up to be something big...

Kaia Thorn
Gag me. I'm sorry, but she's selfish. It seems she's really willing to do anything to get back with Xak, even ruin his new life. Xak had no decision in becoming the Shadow Stalker, losing his memories, his feelings, etc. Kaia is still driven by being with him, and .. gag me.

HAHA Addison. I never drew that comparison but interesting! She is selfish, but she also had to watch her husband move on when he was the love of her life. Kaia's selfishness will be poignant to the series and most definitely Charlie and Xak's relationship.

Constance is a bit of a mystery - i'm at the moment in between about where to go with her in all honesty but she has good potential at the moment.

In regards to Trafford, I was VERY close to writing a punch scene actually, but I didn't want it to be too dramatic so I cut it - well observed and pointed out! :)

Shelter is a mystery and is VERY key. Nuff said, innit. :p

Yessums. Gotta name DEM GODS! Although Kalipso is named in the title of 3.06 she does not appear but they both will appear in future episodes as LOTS of stuff is unknown about them!

Dante/Lance
is hot. (so sue me, I have to mention it. :])[/QUOTE]

HAHA they weren't even in the episode...but if you like Dance then you'll like 3.06...which by the way is in Act 3 and should be out fairly soooon! I reckon early December. It's a big episode, got a death in it and a blast from the past!

Thanks again Jared for some ace feedback! :) I really appreciate some words from the readers! :D

Spoiler tags .. Oh, the convenience.

One thing about Kaia before I get to what I reposted for: bah. :[ If she screws up Xak/Charlie before it can recover more, then I will stab her. >:[ Somehow. I'll make it work. :]

Echidna
ALI LARTER. Hot. Sexy. .. Monster-y. Either way, she can do the role, and I'm actually excited to see where this is going. One of the key elements that wrapped me in at the beginning was the use of the Greeks, sicne I've always loved mythology, and especially around those.

I'm interested to see how she's going to play out in the series. We had Hermes, who .. died. Rofl. And the Fates, who also died. Sephy.. miss her. Hecate's gone, too. Hm. Gods usually mean something big, so. Bring it on. :]

As for 3.06.. Yes. :D I can't wait.

She's definitely gonna cause some drama between them, in particular 3.06 and 3.07, and it's funny what you said is close along the lines of what Charlie says to Cate in 3.06, so keep your eyes on that one!

Season Three is definitely more of a focus on Sin and her domination of the world/causing an apocalypse BUT Seasons 4/5/6 are heavily Greek oriented and going back to the basics. Sephy will be in Season 3 and her and Echidna will be working well together, but Echidna becomes ESSENTIAL in a future project...and I mean close future...and not in SS. cough. Don't want to give the game away...but yeah, it'll become clear soon :)

As for 3.06.. Yes. :D I can't wait.

Yay! I love review time. :] Almost as much as I love reading time! I believe I'm going to murder the spoilertag one more time, but only because of the length.

In General
3.06 - The Kalipso Syndicate was possibly one of my favorites, though I'm not exactly sure that I can pinpoint why! So many happy things happened in this episode that it's hard to just choose one point and stick with it. First off, I've got to start out by saying haha @ Kaia. :V I'm still not liking her that much. I can see the rivalry between her and Charlie sparking and it doesn't look like it's going to be a very friendly battle, honestly.

Charlie/Xak/Kaia
A love triangle that will be interesting to read, especially with Echidna ready to whoop up on Kaia. [YAY, ;D] I'm not sure how this one is going to play out, but like I said earlier, the rivalry between Charlie and Kaia seems like it'll be a very entertaining/edge-of-your-seat read. Or maybe I'm just crazy. :P Kaia is still coming off as incredibly selfish to me, but it's probably just because of my bias towards her. [Y'know, I'm over here proudly sporting my GO CHARLIE banner!] Charlie looks like she trusts Xak, which is a good thing. I'm trying to not be overly cynical, so I'm reaaaally hoping that Xak is going to be a smart guy. [yes, I went there!] But, like Lance said, he's sold his soul for Charlie and he seems to know when he has a good thing. And for Kaia.. You might always love your first, but just because it's there doesn't mean it's right.

[B]Cate & Trafford
Well, to start off with, Cate. Oh, how I love thee. I'm overly curious as to what was in that wonderful little wooden box of joys, but I'm doubting her new clique-ish and glowing personality is because she found a certain libido-upper stashed away in there. So what's up with her? Charlie should be able to recognize that something isn't right. Cate went from "yeah, okay, wait, who?" to practically bouncing hyper-ly off the walls. I loved the Little Mermaid reference, though. Sea witch. I've had to hold that one back because I actually like Ursula! Trafford, now.. I like him, still! I don't think he needs to write off his sister's feelings, though. I mean, I know he isn't completely brushing them off, I just don't think he's considering them enough to watch out? Even if we the reader don't see something wrong, that's usually leighway [sorry, I probably completely mutilated that spelling] for the writer to slip one up on us. Hopefully it's nothing.

Elise and Constance
Since I was just speaking of Elise, I'll talk about her first. I'm hoping that her feeling something bad around Cate and Lance is nothing.. maybe just a little of something lingering behind [from Hecate for Cate, maybe the Hell Dimension/prison for Lance.. or maybe Sin has planted something in Lance? Rofl, look at me going all Twilight Zone with my guessing.] I don't think she's completely wrong. I want her hearing to be fixed, though. :[ It's just sad because I'm pretty sure no one else can understand her, so she has to use Trafford as a speaking device? Constance, on the other hand.. I like her! :] She practically has been the guardian angel of the group, and I almost had to hit Dante when he basically just brushed off her power. Let's see you go invisible and kick ass, Dante! D: Not happening, methinks.

Ea and Ursula
I don't have too much to say about them, but I did love Brogan's mocking of Sin whenever he shot her. I know he isn't going to replace Toole, so I'm not scared of that because I think you'll be able to handle the friendship in a completely new light, which is something that some writer's have a problem with. Brogan kicks ass and takes names, and he's pretty much my sexy hero. :] Ursula is basically turning out to be lovely. My feelings haven't really changed for her since the last episode, she cares deeply and protectively for her Syndicate, and those feelings have shown to stay the same even with the separation from them [meaning Xak]. She's an understanding woman.. She reminds me of my Grandma! Except pretty much more kickass. I mean, my Granny couldn't exactly lead a whole team of badass. :P Pretty close, though.

Shelter and Cain / Sin
Shelter is still a mystery. I'm having a hard time believing she's an actual mute, though. I don't think it was stated she was, just that she hasn't found the need to speak, yet. I think we have to learn more about her past, and when we do, it'll be ground-breaking. She's important like the rest of the team, and the fact that she's quiet usually means something big, too. I don't think I'm overanalyzing it, though that is a possibility. Either way, I know she'll prove to be more than I thought. With Cain and Sin.. I actually felt bad that he died. :[ It was sad. I was actually expecting more of a sneaky death, maybe that Xak and Brogan would save him, he'd understand that they weren't the bad guys, and they'd go to save him.. only to have him die some other way at the very end. But I liked his death, too. Sin really is sadistic and I just want her dead. :[ She's psycho-crazy, for serious, ya'll. But in all seriousness, her taking it to the law is pretty messed up.. I think she'll be even more pissed when she finds out that Ursula had it covered up. Maybe? I'm not sure. I'm just waiting for her next attack..

Lance/Dante/Sofia
Are. You. Kidding. Me. :[ This is unfair. I liked Sofia's character a LOT back in the earlier times, and now I'm having to hate her. Well, not specifically, but you know. :P This'll be another interesting love triangle, and for me specifically, one that'll be right up there with Charlie & Kaia's rivalry for Xak. [Of course, I'm just nerdy like that. I'm sporting my TEAM LANCE shirt, now. :x] Lance blushes a lot, but Dante gives him a pretty good reason too. I'm just not sure how it's going to work.. Lance wasn't sure about Dante not too long ago, and now he's fighting off what could be feelings, or at least he's hiding it. Sofia actually had a place with Dante and pretty much wants it back from the way I read it. The question is, what will Dante do? Come on, Lance, step it up. D:!

Black & Sephy
Not too much to say about them. I miss little ole Persephone. I do wonder where she's gotten off to.. though something tells me that it isn't good, given the situation of them avoiding the topic. And about Black.. It's always fun to learn about semi-Big Bads. I'm sure it'll turn out a more interesting read than I'm thinking! [which is in a good way!]

:] Yet again, yay for spoilertags.

OMG I LOVE IT!!! I only discovered Shadow stalker like a moth ago and I've already read it all... One day i was sick and i stayed at home and did nothing apart from reading it (and eating)....
I love Dante/Lance.... But I also love Sofia (though the way she survived doesn't convince me... It looks a bit forced)...
Anyway, from what you said I understood that Echidna is probably going to be in Sirens... When is this spin off coming out? You said it would come out when SS was over, but then you said that you're going to go on until season six with SS.... I can't wait that long!!!! I even hate waiting for a new episode everytime... Stop having a life and just write!!! LOL

WOW JARED! Feedback much! Ok answers in your own spoilertag in bold! :)

Yay! I love review time. :] Almost as much as I love reading time! I believe I'm going to murder the spoilertag one more time, but only because of the length.

So pleased you enjoyed it! I was slightly worried that I wouldn't be able to cover everything I wanted to but I did! :) I know characters like Elise, Shelter and Echidna aren't getting enough show-time at the moment but there's more pressing stuff at the moment and I have stuff planned for them in the future.

Just bear in mind with Kaia that she's had to put up with a lot. She watched her husband get another woman pregnant and fall in love with a new life - I'm writing her at the moment in the way I would react. I think it's just she doesn't sit idley by and not cause a fuss. I wouldn't let anyone stamp on my heart like that, whether it was unintentional or not, and I certainly wouldn't be ignored. So that's where i'm coming from with Kaia, which is worth keeping in mind for future episodes where she steps her game more!

You might always love your first, but just because it's there doesn't mean it's right.

[B]PML! Hit a ho...love it! I know everyone's Team Xarlie, but just bear in mind Kaia's hurting too, as I mentioned above. This triangle is a big storyline for me to write and it was incredibly ambitious. I know it's gonna provoke mixed feelings for everyone, especially with what is coming up...

Cate & Trafford
Well, to start off with, Cate. Oh, how I love thee. I'm overly curious as to what was in that wonderful little wooden box of joys, but I'm doubting her new clique-ish and glowing personality is because she found a certain libido-upper stashed away in there. So what's up with her? Charlie should be able to recognize that something isn't right. Cate went from "yeah, okay, wait, who?" to practically bouncing hyper-ly off the walls. Even if we the reader don't see something wrong, that's usually leighway [sorry, I probably completely mutilated that spelling] for the writer to slip one up on us. Hopefully it's nothing.

Firstly, I think it's interesting you feedbacked these two together! What's in Cate's wooden box is revealed in 3.07 so keep your eyes peeled, it's a shocker! The Trafford/Elise thing comes to a head in the next episode, so don't worry too much! :) Elise will have her say, so to speak.

I like her! :] She practically has been the guardian angel of the group, and I almost had to hit Dante when he basically just brushed off her power. Let's see you go invisible and kick ass, Dante! D: Not happening, methinks.

The lingering feeling about Cate/Lance is well guessed. Might be that...might be something else! I know everyone seems desperate to fix Elise's deafness, but i'm going for a different side to it...you'll see what I mean by the time the season is up.

So pleased you like Constance, I'm at a bit of a wits end on what to do with her at the moment, but I finally decided the other week what should happen. Her power is insanely cool, which could make everything too easy for the gang!

Yeah, Ea took a bit of a backseat in this episode which was a shame but he comes into his own soon! :) He's a very sexy hero and he compliments Xak well in battle. I think it's impossible to compare him to Toole because they're so different, so I'm not too worried about stepping on toes in that respect. I think it should work well, I just had to get that line in there about Toole as I wanted Xak to hate Sin that bit more.

Ursula is coolness, I love her. And she comes very key soon. The only thing I'm worried about with her is that people might see her as the leader rather than Xak, seeing as technically she is! However I have a method to sort that out! MWAHAHAHA!

Shelter again, in later S3 episodes becomes key, her purpose and silence is poignant. So I won't say much on that! Cain's death was sad, but I thought it was good to give him some peace after all his grief. I just thought letting him survive would be worse than dying...I know that sounds morbid but he'd been through a lot. Interesting as well that you pick up on the Ursula/Sin point!

Like I said; Sofia = PLANNED FROM THE BEGINNING! She was never dead and I wrote it to look that she had been killed. I know everyone's teaming Dance but come on....you didn't think it would be that easy did you?!

Ok, I won't say too much on Sephy because she's mentioned more in 3.07 and come to that matter, so is Black! It's kind of a Black-centric episode which has Lost-esque flashbacks to his past!

:] Yet again, yay for spoilertags.

Thanks so much Jared for your amazingly detailed feedback. I love ya for it! :)

LOL

Wow you read them all in a month, impressive and thanks so much! :) I love getting new readers hehe! Everyone seems to love Dance but the Sofia thing was planned from the beginning so I don't see how it was forced? You never saw Sofia's face when she died...

I'm keeping everything about Sirens in a secured location (HAHA) at the moment because I don't want to say too much on it. All i'll say is it won't run after Season Six. It will now run alongside Season 4. So i'll alternate episodes and do like SS 4.01 then Sirens 1.01 etc.

Haha I wish I could write all the time but unfortunately I can't! I have may RL commitments but comments like yours and Jared's makes all this worthwhile so thank you and I hope you'll enjoy 3.07 when it's released!

Heyas! :) Might be an idea to put your comments in spoiler tags for those who haven't read yet! :) My reply is in the spoiler tag above and thanks! :)

All right, I'm back after decking the halls and being beaten up by Frosty! [oh, the joys of setting up Christmas decorations..]

This isn't too long, but just a response. First off, yeah, that was a lot of feedback, but it was pretty easy considering you've written an amazing work!

Kaia
Let me start off by saying, yeah, now that I put certain things into perspective, I don't completely dislike her. I understand that she's been through a lot. She's having to deal with seeing her husband have make-baby-time and love another woman, which I'm guessing is not the best thing to go through. I guess it's kind of ironic that Xarlie's baby turned out evil. :P But we won't go there. I do feel sympathy for Kaia, I just am biased! Can't help it. I respect her for everything's she's had to put up with, she's gained some hardiness from the twenty years she's had to endure.

And when I actually think about, if I was in a situation similar.. I'd fight, too. How lame is that. I actually think that if I just started reading this wonderful series with just this episode without too much background knowledge [like I did with Buffy, in season 4? I was a late starter, but a quick catch up] I could see myself rooting for Kaia. In a way she seems scorned, though unintentional it was. Sadly, however, I started out with Charlie and I'm sticking with the loveable character. :]

Team Lance
Yes, yes, I know! No relationship in the Buffyverse as a whole is easy. I still love Sofia, even if she is a competitor in the triangle.. Still, I stand proud with my Team shirt and I'm willing to make more. =D! Besides.. Lance is kickass. I guess it all comes down to what Dante wants. As you've said, you've had Sofia's "rebirth" planned for a while now, so that's why I don't think it was forced. When I think about it, you did have things set smoothly for a "ressurection" so to speak, as with the new replacement and Sofia's face never being shown. Lance deserves some happy, though. I didn't see Sofia locked up in demon prison. :[ [yes, lame excuse but still. team lance, whoo!]

Persephone
This is also going to be an interesting reaction from Charlie.. I mean, practically the last time Sephy was shown, she was trying to get rid of Sin.. That's not exactly the best note to leave on.

As for Black.. A Lost-esque episode feels appropriate. He hasn't had that much screentime, but we do know he's a pansy for Sin as well as being in charge of a vampire horde. [a new Master, anyone?] Learning about his rise and stuff will be interesting, I just hope our loveable characters are still in the episode somewhere. :P

Answers again Jared in the spoiler tag below! Hehehe I can barely keep up with ya!

Kaia:
Thanks so much for seeing it from her point of view! :) It's good to appreciate things from everyone's points of views and I don't want everyone to hate Kaia too much. She has her reasons and they're good ones. But I completely understand Xarlie fans to root for them....they were after all the beginning duo. In fact they have one of the first scenes ever!

Dance:
Aw it's so nice to have people rooting for Lance! I know what you mean, he does deserve to have some happiness, I think they all do! But my god...obstacles much ;)

Sephy:
Totally, her reactions to Sephy's departure would be like wow. But bear in mind Ursula said she's going to explain about Sephy in 3.07...so look out for that one!

Black:
Do not fret! It's not just him. It's just there will be flashbacks. A lot of it centres on the Syndicate too. :)

Lexabee, my great inspire...er. That didn't rhyme like I wanted it to...

Moving on to feedback.

3.06 The Kalipso Syndicate
Firstly, let me just say that in 3.05, I loved all the flashbacks. And I laughed yet again at the...

SMALL DEMON: Disgusting you is. I be hating you!

Hee. I dunno why, but it's still so amusing.

Anyway, now 3.06. Firstly, I loved it. I already told you that and I always love your episodes! But the more specific feedback is below.

The Syndicate...I like. I like a lot, actually. I always wondered if the Knights of Byzantium (and Buffy and her gang, of course) were the only ones to oppose her, wherever she came from. And now I know the answer. Well, at least your answer. But I'm considering it canon. ;)

Ursula and Cate's comment had me wanting to burst out into fun underwater mermaid songs, but I resisted, don't worry.

Speaking of Cate...I wonder what is in that box of that made our little Cathryn go all happyhappyjoyjoy. Medicine, since it was from the medical ward? Drugs? Some magic loopdeydoopdey crap? Whatever it is, I hope it's helping her more than it's harming her...Which I'm guessing, it's not.

As for the evil around Cate and Lance...I'm interested. Very interested.

Oh, the love triangle...I'm team Xarlie, all the way. I do care about Kaia's feelings (sorta kinda), but that was a long time ago, and she needs to realize that he didn't know about her when he met and fell in love with Charlie. Personally, I think Kaia and Xak need a divorce, stat. But I've got a feeling that it's not going to be that simple.

Sin. My god, her character is amazing. The whole arrow thing...Wow. Indestructable much! But there must be something that can harm her...something Xak or Charlie can do, maybe? Or a different person entirely? A new character, perhaps? A secret weapon? See, this is what I love about Shadow Stalker...it just keeps me, and presumably everyone else, guessing.

Poor Teramelli. I don't like him, but he probably didn't want to die. :p I seriously don't mind that he did. I found him annoying...

OH OH OH. AND.

SOFIA.
IS.
BACK.

Was I expecting it? Are you kidding me?! I can never expect something without it being completely off. I definitely didn't ever see Sofia coming back. I'm very interested...but I'm on the Dante/Lance side of things. Sorry, Sof.

Hmm...I do hope I'm not missing anything big.

I can't wait to read 3.07 and learn more about Black, plus what's in Cate's wooden box...and y'know, everything else.

I'm going to give you some feedback. So there :p

I do love how everything has changed, with so many new characters, yet you've managed to make all of them unique and interesting. I especially like Elise and Constance. All the possibilities of new character interactions and pairings, it's very exciting :D

I for one am going to ship Xaia just to be different!! No, in all seriousness, it must be awful to be made into the other woman when you're actually the first woman, and everyone is just like "shut up, you no longer matter". I empathise with Kaia a great deal, it would be nice if one the other characters was a little kinder with her (I'm looking at you Echidna!). What an awful choice for Xak to make, obviously I still feel for Charlie, but even Glory would be like "I ship Xarlie 4EVAZ!" it seems, she doesn't have it so bad ;)

Oo Sofia. Well I'm sorry babe, but you can go back to being dead if you're gonna mess with the DANCE! Poor Lance is a troubled young soul isn't he? Dante will make it all better...

I'm interested in The Sponser and what the Sephmeister's been up to. Oh and of course Cate's box of possible doom, and Elise's feeling of almost certain doom about her and Lance. I hope Cate doesn't turn evil...

Once again a joy to read, and looking forward to the next ep :D:D

Glad ya like the weirdness of the SMALL DEMON but alas Brogan killed him so :p

The Knights were such a last minute decision but I think it works really well as I wanted to make sure that the dimension wasn't as horrible as they made it sound. They were just biased because of their hatred towards Glory.

I can't say ANYTHING on the wooden box, like I said, it's all revealed in 3.07 :) Also the evilnes around Lance and Cate - again it will be revealed what Elise senses, just not in the next episode.

Xak, Charlie and Kaia seem to be the mega conversation point! I'm so pleased I've sparked hysteria haha! Interesting you mention the divorce concept...I don't think it will work, but who knows how the marriage COULD be ended.

You're such a Sin whore; you luuuurve her! I thought the arrow might shock people but I'm pleased it did - she's not normal, she's barely human, so why should human weapons kill her?! ;) Interesting are your theories about Sin's destruction though Amber...very....interesting!

Thanks for your sympathy with Teramelli...heartless! *glares*

Glad you like Sofia's return too, and what a time for her to show her little face again eh?! Everyone's rooting for Dance, they barely know eachother...you slash whores...

Everyone's very fond of Elise which is ace! I think casting Becki Newton as her was a good move because everyone remembers her as the gossipy, blonde Amanda in Ugly Betty so I think this is a brilliant different role her to be the image of.

Glad you're sympathising with Kaia, not that she'll deserve much in coming episodes, but to begin with you're right! As I said to Jared and as we have talked about, this is a horrible situation to be on the wrong end of.

I do disagree with what you said about Charlie though, she's got a lot on at the moment! Her daughter's gonna apocalyptic, her boyfriend has a wife, her friends have died, and her best friend is skitzo....not to mention her mother. I don't think everyone is sympathising with Charlie on the Kaia aspect alone...they know what she's going through and Kaia is intent on making that difficult for her...there's no denying that! :)

Well interesting you're into "The Sponsor" as that is the title of 3.10 so...go figure ;) About the Cate thing...it's not necessarily about turning evil...it's about sensing something that's already there!

Thanks for the feedback you two! I appreciate it even more considering that you guys talk to me all the time as well!

Sorry, I can't give you any of my characters and I don't particularly want someone setting up a series set in my 'verse. I don't mean to sound horrible it's just I've worked very hard on SS and the spin off Sirens which will begin soon.

Woo 3.07!

So I loved the flashbacks with Black, very original and totally unexpected! Certainly adds a new dimension to the character because before he was pretty much all dark before.

On the Kaia/Xak/Charlie triangle, I love the direction you've taken them! Kaia is naughty, but I love that she isn't remorseful for kissing the man she loves. Very interesting character! Yay Charlie is going to find the Seph! I hope we see Sephy soon it's been tooooo long!

Sofia is evil. Dance 4evaz. Seriously though, Lance must be going through some post-puberty confusion. I think he wants Dante's Calvin Klein's but thinks he shouldn't.

I suspected Cate and the toxin when you revealed she was going through withdrawl, but I'm intrigued as to the direction this will take her. I think Trafford/Cate could eventually emerge!

Ursula is evil? Or at least working for something bigger than the group? Elise is on the ball, I hope she doesn't die as a result. I love that she draws, she's a beautiful character.

Fab episode, exploring everything and killing off lots of people to Moby! All the joys :D Keep it up mister!

I do believe that this is the first [and only] time that I will regret having checked the Virtual Series section before anything else -- all the other times haven't cost me my homework. :P Onto the feedback!

Charlie / Xak / Kaia.
I completely and utterly lied to you if ever I said I was going to try and like Kaia. Yes, yes, the ho gets sympathy because her husband isn't in love with her anymore. Boo hoo. But seriously? To stoop low and pull Xak right down there with her? If she cares SO MUCH for him, then she shouldn't place him in the situations that are going to hurt him, even chancing it. How's the saying go? If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it was meant to be? Or something. Rofl, I'm sleepy so who knows what it really is.

Charlie.. I love you, babydoll. Really. We're going to have babies and make later-hater voodoo dolls together. Either that, or I'm running Kaia over. I found myself really wishing Charlie would have tore Xak up instead of simply throwing up a barrier, figuratively and literally. Even if it wasn't Xak's fault, he was still allowing himself to be in that place with her. No, I'm not blaming him though, he was only offering a shoulder.. even though, given the circumstance..

Elise / Cate / Ursula
First off, I can already see Ursula's fall from leadership. Usually when another leader seems to be in charge instead of the main character, they take a fall, and for some reason I keep picturing the lovely little [not so] innocent woman's death. It's coming, isn't it? What is she hiding? .. And what was up with the abbreviations? [This could be only me that didn't get it. In fact, it's a very good possibility.]

Cate.. Onyx Tonic? Oh god. I'm trying to feel sorry for Cate, but why does she keep walking herself into these situations? :[ Sweetie, please remove yourself from the mourning stage soon. It hurts to see the characters hurt, though that does show excellent writing. :D I can only help but wonder what Charlie will say when she finds out.. Given the pain and stress she's going through, is a possible relapse in the future?

Elise.. I love her more and more each episode. I also feel bad for her. Trafford was right in saying that they've all learned to expect the worse, and that she feels she could be losing him. Everyone's lost a multitude of things, and Elise especially doesn't need to lose her brother, the only one she can basically communicate with. Which just brings the question back: What is Ursula hiding? Tricky seawitch. :[

Lord Chancellor Black / Sin / Delilah / Jesse
Side Q: Is Jesse's name a shoutout to Vamp!Jesse from Season 1 of Buffy?

Either way, welcome back generation 2. You're hot and in need of feeding. Black's history was great, but I was expecting more to be learned about him, since the episode was named after him. His family was a family of protectors? Like.. actual Watchers, or they stopped being Watchers after his grandfather, and are a different set of protectors? Or something. I don't know. I do believe I've managed to confuse myself. Oh, joy. :3

Sin. You dirty, dirty girl. I love her denial of ever being overthrown. You'll fall one day my dear; even the best do. [hopefully you do, soon. :[]

Lance / Dante / Sofia
Yeah, you were ANTICIPATING this response, weren't you? :[ hate@u wtf. Let's make Dante a player who can't decide what he wants, the peen or the poon. [..am I allowed to say that? sorry. D:] I almost cried when he kissed Sofia -- caught up in the moment or not. [Okay, so, not really, but still. It sounded good.]

Wtf is up. :[ Dante, you don't get to kiss Sofia, tell her you never got a chance to be a good man with her, and then go to the bedroom with Lance and want to have the mad passionate dance of love with him. CHOOSE LANCE, CHOOSE LANCE. *waveth of the team lance banner*

Hey Alex and Jared! :) Thanks so much for feedback my loyal feedbacker-ers! Your replies are in your own spoiler tags, in bold! :hf2:

Woo 3.07!

So I loved the flashbacks with Black, very original and totally unexpected! Certainly adds a new dimension to the character because before he was pretty much all dark before.

Pleased you liked his flashbacks, I was thinking of doing some more on him to explain a bit more into his background but I am unsure! Maybe later in the series! :)

Ah the Sephster, yes I miss writing her too - hopefully she'll return soon! She's yet to miss out on a season of SS! Glad you're liking the Xakarlie triangle; they're so fun to write because no one is in the wrong and each one of them is going about it in their own individual way, but the real question is...what will happen now Charlie's out the picture?

Sofia is evil. Dance 4evaz. Seriously though, Lance must be going through some post-puberty confusion. I think he wants Dante's Calvin Klein's but thinks he shouldn't.

Haha, poor Sofia. She's done nothing wrong at all, except LIVE! I think Lance is slightly fascinated by Dante; bearing in mind most things he knows about him would have been through Xak, Leigh and Christian, as he had very little contact with Dante in Season 2. I think at the moment he's trying to figure out where he wants life to go for him and on the way he's trying to figure out what everyone on that path means to him.

I suspected Cate and the toxin when you revealed she was going through withdrawl, but I'm intrigued as to the direction this will take her. I think Trafford/Cate could eventually emerge!

Well Trafford's yet to find a cure, or a way of stopping the addiction to Onyx Tonic, so who knows - but he is Cate's best shot at the moment with her best friend gone and Xak's mind on other things. Also bear in mind, they tried for a month to get Cate on the wagon and she refused their help; now everything seems fine with her, how can they know what's wrong?

Ursula is evil? Or at least working for something bigger than the group? Elise is on the ball, I hope she doesn't die as a result. I love that she draws, she's a beautiful character.

I wanted to give her this cute little side so I thought the drawing would be a good attribute for her! The fact she's always observing everything but never really participating. About Ursula, is she necessarily evil? She's definately keeping something, and something HUGE (i'll say that at least) but it doesn't necessarily equate evil or being part of something bigger.

Fab episode, exploring everything and killing off lots of people to Moby! All the joys :D Keep it up mister!

I like killing people nowadays - it's a hobby. Moby just helps the pain! ;)

I know it seemed kind of low for her to kiss him, but she got the wrong end of the stick - but in doing so could have finally got what she wanted; Xak and Charlie broken up? I think you're right about needing to let go, and that's something she's definately going to have to learn in the coming episodes...

Haha voodoo dolls! Love it, little blonde barbie ones for Kaia? I wasn't going for mega drama when she did the barrier - she didn't know the full story and she knew it. She knows Xak loves her but seeing the kiss just reminded her she's not always been the love of his life and after looking at what he and her created - Sin - she can't help but feel like they weren't meant to be together.

I'm so pleased that you've noticed this sort of hubris state of Ursula's where she's assumed that she is the leader of the group despite they're not in her dimension anymore and that there are two strong factions. Not to mention the fact you have strong warriors like Brogan, Constance and Xak who could easily stand in her place. VERY pleased you noted that. You're not actually supposed to understand the abbreviations - if indeed they are abbreviations at all - so don't worry about that? Elise is on the case and will hopefully elucidate all queries soon!

Cate.. Onyx Tonic?

I know. Well there's a lot about Cate we don't actually know. How grief has been handled maybe in the past with her family and so forth - or indeed how she handles grief. I mean look at how she handled Charlie's death. She was so distant from everyone and now her fiance has gone too. I hope it doesn't seem like her grief is being panned out too long - I will promise you something though - it will be revolved in coming episodes. Everything Cate's feeling and going through will come to a rather "dramatic" moment.

Interesting you noted Charlie's possible reactions - well that's one thing we know will have to be prolonged for now; especially if Cate keeps it a secret, like she plans to.

Elise is becoming a firm favourite in the series by the looks of things! I've not heard a bad word said about her; it's sweet! I love her, and writing her, and I can't wait to write some of the stuff I have planned for her.

As to Ursula - she is one TRICKY seawitch. Perhaps she's trying to steal Xak's "trident of power" ;)

Lord Chancellor Black / Sin / Delilah / Jesse
Side Q: Is Jesse's name a shoutout to Vamp!Jesse from Season 1 of Buffy?

HA! You know what - It NEVER occured to me. Just a random naming i'm afraid!

Oh, joy. :3

I know the episode was called "Black" but there were a multitude of reasons behind this: the colour of Onyx Tonic, secrets, darkness - a lot of lights were turned off and there was a lot of actual dark settings in this episode, and of course Black himself. Not to mention the deaths! I would have loved to have gone into his past further - but I think I'll leave it up to the readers and their imagination as to what happened in the past before those moments. All i'll say is yes, Black's grandfather was a Watcher but his methods were contraversial so they fired him. Due to his passion though he continued protecting but this time he protected people the Slayer could not reach; the monarchy etc. Hope that clears things up! :)

Sin. You dirty, dirty girl. I love her denial of ever being overthrown. You'll fall one day my dear; even the best do. [hopefully you do, soon. :[]

She's confident isn't she - well there are prophecies known about her, I guess you would be!

Lance / Dante / Sofia
Yeah, you were ANTICIPATING this response, weren't you? :[ hate@u wtf. Let's make Dante a player who can't decide what he wants, the peen or the poon. [..am I allowed to say that? sorry. Haha I knew this kiss would DOOM the Dance shippers. I can't really say too much on Dance and Sante...just keep reading - it does get rather fancy and complicated for all three!

Okay, so. I tried not responding again because you said it was good enough the way it was.. but I started feeling lost without some Shadow Stalker in my day. Instead of stalking the forums, I figured I'd do something productive for the moment. :P

Cate / Charlie cont.
The reason I brought up Charlie's reaction to Cate taking the drug was because of Charlie's struggle with it earlier. Charlie knows how addicting it is, has dealt with it before, and now she's going to have to witness Cate experience even more pain than she was in before. I wonder, did Cate know if it was specifically Onyx Tonic or not? Though, I'm not quite sure why she felt the urge to prick herself and inject with a mysterious liquid.. But with Charlie gone, how's help supposed to be getting to Cate?

I could say Trafford, but would that be an accurate guess? I'm not thinking Xak, Lance, or Dante, and seeing as how the lovely Elise believes her to be lingering evil [maybe Elise can feel the stuff lingering on Cate from Hecate? I .. don't know. I blame it on the fact that it's freezing outside and .. well, it's Tuesday and the sun is shining in my eyes. there!], I'm not so sure how she'll get better. :[ If Trafford found out about her injecting it into herself, would he particularly WANT to help her? She basically stole from him and if he did help her, it throw up things with his sister and him. Elise is not to be trifled with!

Charlie.. come back. :<

Oh yeah, she knew. It was like it was calling to her from the cabinet. Don't forget Onyx Tonic can make you repress stuff you don't want or people think you shouldn't remember. Now we don't know if what Cate's injected herself with is the stuff Rack made? Or a substitute that Trafford created.

I could say Trafford, but would that be an accurate guess? I won't say too much on who helps Cate but it is more than one person. I guess Trafford could go either way - he could choose to help Cate or not. But that depends on what you think Trafford is like deep down...

Charlie.. come back. :<

So, I'll begin this review by revealing that I was in utter sadness at the end of the teaser. :[ The rest is in a spoilertag, in blocked sessions like usual.

Xakiel / Brogan / Kaia
Xak finally stood up to Ursula and the others, though I wish it hadn't taken Charlie leaving to get him to do so. It looked like he was about to take his rightful place as leader, but then he left and I find myself questioning where it was going. [Not in a bad way, in a "uh oh, what's about to happen?" way. :P]

Brogan finally admitted his feelings for Kaia, in a way that spat at her actions and lowered Kaia even further -- YAY! ;D I really wish Brogan would have followed Xak out of the door though.. The best friend from the past surely wouldn't want to lose him again? Perhaps I'm crazy. Yes, that's it. I didn't see much of Ea and I really wanted to. He's got a soft spot on me hart. [I figured I'd let the redneck speak.]

Kaia .. Even though you're hurting even more now, I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach [or the spoilers in the index thread :3] that you're no where near finished, are you, dear? That's good, I suppose. Even though I'm not particularly fond of her, I do want to see her get over everything. Or die, that might be comforting. :[ Whichever comes first, I'm guessing!

[B]Charlie / Cate / Toole
Where oh where has my little sorceress gone? :[ Did she have to disappear completely for the whole episode? Not even a small scene with her walking down an alley was added to give me solace. Sadness. :[ I do hope she's okay and even finding answers on the whereabouts of Sephy. Where is Echidna, btw? I don't remember her being mentioned?

Cathryn Rittle.. my dear, how I love thee so. She's in need of a fix and I want to ween her off of it. :[ She's still going through a lot and with Charlie's departure, it's getting to be even harder on her, isn't it? It seems everyone she lets in disappears from her, doesn't it? When we were introduced to her, she was a carefree girl with what seemed like little problems. She had Charlie and she was happy. But I guess that started everyone's journey, didn't it? She met Toole [more below] and then Hecate decided to depart from her, Charlie died, Charlie lived, Melody came, she was granted Slayerage, she fought with Toole, got close to Lance.. was betrayed, Lance and Melody left, Toole died.. If she did let Xak in, no, it would not be a pretty picture.. She does need a friend, though.. And with Charlie gone, she should at least try and get help from Xak, when he's offering it.. and not from a drug that's causing her issues. :[

Toole -- might we ever see him again? I know this is Buffyverse, so I'm aware never will he be in flesh sweeping Cate off her feet once more like the knight in shining whatever, but might we see him once more? :[ I do miss him much.

Lance / Dante / Sofia
Sofia to begin with. As much as I regret it, I'm growing on her! I also feel bad for her, realizing all of that.. She's certainly not stupid, but where will this take her? She does have a shot with Dante, and seeing as how the latter is confused as to what he wants, the triangle is an open possibility.. :[.. Yes, I admitted it, even if there was Dance progression. She's found a friend in Constance, which is nice to see considering she was basically only used back when she was with Wolfram and Hart.

Dante Turnpike. You're hot. [; Bad thing? You know it. However, he's internally debating where to go with things, whether it be relationship progression or whatever, and it's kind of depressing reading it. I want to help you decide! :] He's been through a lot whether or not we admit it, and he's wonderfully written [as are all of your characters, though I'm going to guess you are already aware of this. I mean, here I am, doing a ritualistic feedback section just for you. =D]

Lance is opening up, and to Dante nonetheless. You have no idea how squeehappy this makes me! He doesn't trust Dante, but he's finding himself getting comfortable with the idea, isn't he? Even though he thinks he shouldn't, he's opening up and the jealousy shows he wants to give Dante a chance. The only problem is his internal conflict of whether or not he agrees with that decision. I also want to see a reunion between him and Toole. :[ The strength, though.. For some reason I always pictured Dante having a secret power that we'd learn about, but it was Lance and that made me smile.. though also made me wonder what exactly Elise isn't telling the crowd. What did she really sense with Cate and Lance? Where did Lance get this strength from? Oh the possibilities..

The Syndicate
NOOOOO WHERE DID YOU GOOOO D:?!

They can't be dead. We weren't properly attached to them! Okay, well, we were and I'm selfish, but noooo! This is a cruel joke. :[ h8@u. I wanted Trafford/Cate! And what about Ursula's secret? Elise? No, she can't be gone. :[ I'll cry. Well, I already cried even without knowing what happened because I'm a baby, BUT THAT'S NOT THE POIIINNNT.

I'm totally hating that I have to wait for the second part to know what's really happened. :[ I pray that Misty's vision hasn't come true. Where's Shelter? ... Whoo, I'm a little moody today, aren't I? :P

Misty Meadows
Aw, she's dead. :[ Not that I didn't like her or anything because I did, I just wasn't too attached to her, I guess. The idea of her actually being a Reaper and not a Psychic appealed to me, though. It's a sad irony, isn't it? Her having visions of death and then being killed by Sin. As much as I hate to admit it, when I found out that it was only Misty and not Cate on the ground, I sighed a sigh of great relief. The only thing, though, is that she was going to be vital to stopping Sin.. What will our heroes do now?

Sin
h8@u :[ Her having humanity locked up and fighting for it shines her in a new light.. Will she be saved in time? Or not at all..?

Carl / Tina / Jesse
I loved the tie in, actually. As bad as it is, I didn't think about Jesse until it was revealed. I had an idea, but I didn't want to guess and be wrong. I considered the option that they were only misunderstood, but Jesse made it better.

Will there be a family reunion? Because Carl being a vampire and already fueled by twisted grief.. could be a very bad [in an evil sense] combination.

Did I leave anything out?

Lex

So, I'll begin this review by revealing that I was in utter sadness at the end of the teaser. :[ The rest is in a spoilertag, in blocked sessions like usual.

Jeeesus Jared! You leave no stone unturned :D God I love your "ritualistic feedback"!

Btw, very glad you were saddened by the end of the Teaser, that was the effect I was going for :)

I know what you mean, but bear in mind the stuff with Charlie happened the day after they were reunited with the Syndicate so he didn't take too long to stand up to them and was kind of hoping it would all get resolved - bit naive but you would take all the help you could get in that situation. The episode was hard to write because of the whole "uh oh..." aspect. Xak hasn't been shining as a leader and I basically wanted to show his inability to lead due to recent events.

[B]Funny you say that, I did consider one of the Syndicate going with Xak but I wanted it to be a "back to basics" episode. For those worried about the pronounciation of Ea Brogan it is Eeeee-ah. not E-ay, which I think some people thought it might be. E-ay makes him sound like some hick farmer; just to tie in with the redneck theme! :p

There are spoilers in the Index thread?! I guess the titles could give some stuff away such as "The Old Ball and Chain" etc. Well in her eyes it's only ever been Xak/Xakiel so now she knows Brogan likes her...there's always a possibility she could move on sooner rather than later.

Charlie / Cate / Toole
Where oh where has my little sorceress gone? :[ Did she have to disappear completely for the whole episode? Not even a small scene with her walking down an alley was added to give me solace. Sadness. :[ I do hope she's okay and even finding answers on the whereabouts of Sephy. Where is Echidna, btw? I don't remember her being mentioned?

Sorry! No Charlie, and it was straaaange not writing her, not even in an alley! To answer the Echidna and Shelter question though, it was explained in 3.07 with them being summoned to Sephy so she could ask about Charlie's status. Well there might be a light other reason why Shelter has been asked to go too.

It's hard writing Cate's mood swings because there's no real resolution for her at the end of each episode, however Xak won't be giving up on her, and not in a Xate sense. Although I did when I was first writing this series, PONDER on that ship.

Glad you're warming to Sofia. She's had it tough and I loved writing her scene with Constance. She's not one to let things pass her by so her perceptiveness could ultimately ruin her.

Aw thanks Jared. Although it is hard with so many at the moment! I'll soon sort that out ;) You don't need to help me decide on what Dante will pick - I already know, so don't you worry about him hehe!!

Hm, well - Elise only seems to be perceptive to the energies/auras on people. As in their attributes of light and darkness and when she saw Lance and Cate - she saw darkness. But what that is be it this mysterious strength or Onyx Tonic...we shall have to wait to find out. Lance's powers are answered in this series, and they're ones he's been hiding for a long time.

The Syndicate
NOOOOO WHERE DID YOU GOOOO D:?!

Don't worry...3.09 is their episode!

Well who knows what Xak saw...we shall have to wait to find out won't we Jared? :p

I'm totally hating that I have to wait for the second part to know what's really happened. :[ I pray that Misty's vision hasn't come true. Where's Shelter? ... Whoo, I'm a little moody today, aren't I? :P

Answer about Shelter above!

I know it's awful but that sigh of relief is kind of what I wanted. I know it's mean but hey. Well the thing is, with Misty, (and Constance as well), their powers are kind of immense...they just make things too easy. If they met up and they combined forces - the season would be wrapped up too soon! :p I loved writing Misty, and Coral, but hey - can't have many more characters can I!

Sin
h8@u :[ Her having humanity locked up and fighting for it shines her in a new light.. Will she be saved in time? Or not at all..?

Hm...so how bad is Sin herself? That's the question.

Carl / Tina / Jesse
I loved the tie in, actually. As bad as it is, I didn't think about Jesse until it was revealed. I had an idea, but I didn't want to guess and be wrong. I considered the option that they were only misunderstood, but Jesse made it better.

The tie in was a last minute decision but I thought it would work well and make everything seem more personal so I'm pleased you liked it!

Will there be a family reunion? Because Carl being a vampire and already fueled by twisted grief.. could be a very bad [in an evil sense] combination.

Well as to whether there would be a family reunion or not...you'll get your answer in 3.09. ;)

Did I leave anything out?

Yays for another episode.

Well this ep was lovely and action-packed, I was quite worried we were going to lose some Syndicate boys and girls along the way, but I'm quite glad they're all alive, though not kicking.

Everyone was pretty badass this episode, definitely enjoyed seeing Elise and Kaia do their worst. The hidden room is interesting, I wonder if we'll be seeing that again.

Black, Delilah and Jesse were interesting, and it was a good end for the duo. They weren't sympathetic exactly but I liked that you gave more to them. They could actually think for themselves, though that may be what got them killed in the end, but still.

DANCE HANDS! That's all on them :)

I'm very intrigued as to what will happen now! I think I prefer the dynamics between the Syndicates than between Xak and co., but that's probably because they're all new and stuff. Can't wait for Sponsorness :D

First things first, I need a darn SS-Alert! Like one of those nifty buttons with Life-Alert, but mine should vibrate and scream "LOLOLOL NEW SHADOW STALKER, READ OR DIE" or something amongst the lines of further niftiness. :] I looked a little bit later than I usually do and I was like, ".. HATEFUL".

But, alas, onwards shall I roll ~

Ursula

Sexy, sexy mama. (; No, really. Okay, kidding, but still. Ursula was blank-point kind of useless in this episode, with the exclusion of her holding back the vampires to begin with. Does the lair not have a peephole to see who's behind the door? (even though I've learned from One Missed Call, that what lies behind the peepie-hole is not always pleasant!) The sea witch proved a tad annoying, though. "I'll tell you when we get out of this situation! Promise!" always mean, "yeah, sorry, you're either never going to know because I'll be a, dead, or b, captured." I want to know the secret. :[ Now. -whine.- I do hope she'll be okay, though. There's still plenty more to be played with, right?

As a side note, did I ever mention I love her actress? I loved her in Will & Grace and I can see her speaking Ursula's parts with ease! [does anyone else do that? or am i the only one who plays out the scenes in his head?]

Trafford and Elise
Trafford - Trafford is finally figuring out that Cate's been playing house in his lab. Will this help or hurt a possible relationship? [I think I've been watching too much As the World Turns..] He was nonetheless amazing in this episode, and I am personally gleeful that he was spared in this episode. I was frightened that our characters had bitten the dust, to play with nice words. He's become one of my favorites, as have a great handful of the new characters, and I didn't want to see him hurt! He's a great character, and in this episode he shone as usual, alongside the other characters. They all fit together!

Elise - one word: WOW. I mean, seriously? How much more kickass can this precious woman be? She completely rocked in this episode, and things are going to progress, right? Even when she was hurting she didn't give up, and she kicked it up when the going got tough. She's a lot stronger than she's letting on, though I am curious.. How in the world did she go leather-clad on us? Maybe I read it wrong, but I was getting the impression she caused her change with her words. I thought their only power was healing, though? Or does this play in to the biggo secret-o? Hm.

The Artair siblings were beautiful together in this episode! YAY LEX! :]

Constance and Sofia
Constance - What does Sin want with her and Ursula? I mean, we certainly know she's amazing, but what could Sin want to pawn her into doing? She was great in this episode, taking lead and kicking ass before the vampires knew what was coming at them. Her power is definitely one that is coming in handy for her, and she doesn't let an attack get her down. She was worried about the others and you could tell that.

Sofia - She was just kind of there, but she did get points for trying to protect Elise! Now that she's head of her department, hopefully she'll be able to help out more.. but what is she about to figure out about Lance? That worries me. With everything that's been happening lately, where's the "good" in the scenes? Surely she's only going to find out something that she doesn't like, and possibly end up pitting herself up against Lance. She's up to something.

Xak, Brogan, Kaia
Xak - For right now, I'm glad that he didn't fall back down into sulking about not being a "proper leader". It's something the team doesn't need, and he's stronger than that. He's bound to feel guilty for accidentally letting the attack happen, but it wasn't necessarily his fault. He came back just in time and that was good.

Brogan - I, for one, very much enjoyed the towel-dropping scene. "This might require clothes". [me: TAKE IT OFF, TAKE IT OFF.] oh yeah, i was definitely enjoying the mental play-out in my head. ;] kaia wasn't there, though. ;] -- -cough.- Anyways! He's amazing, simply put. I'm glad he's a survivor, and I see him as a second-in-command, after Xak. What was in the briefcase, though? Was that ever explained? Brogan admitted his feelings to Kaia, almost felt okay for them, and then she kind of ripped it away again. They would be cute together.. if ever she got over Xak.

Kaia - I liked her spell that she couldn't perform. >_>; -cough.- er. She saved the others as well, though, so she gets some brownie points. For once, hardly anything in this episode was her fault! [though, y'know, if you take into account the first half, it still largely is..] But! I'm trying to warm up to her!

Lance and Dante
Lance - Since these two weren't in the episode that much, there isn't much I can say about them. Sofia suspects Lance for something, though, that much is obvious.. I still want to learn about his strength. Did he gain it while at the prison? What happened to him while he was gone with Christian and Leigh?

Dante - DANCE HAND ACTION! HOORAY. Dante needs to make up his mind, though.. I hate triangles. :[ Just love Lance and you'll be the happiest you'll ever be, Dante!

CHARLIE.
CHARLIE'S BACK! YES. But, she's also shooting men in the head and doing it sexy style with that pretty little red dress. What's the point? And .. why is Charlie murdering? I get it's in order for answers, I suppose. Who was the man, anyway? How did Charlie get ahold of Sephy? WHERE IS SEPHY? I MISS ECHIDNA AND SHELTER. CHARLIE, COME BACK.

Okay, I'm done with the random bursts of crazy. Almost. :]

Alex and Jared, as ever you are stars for feedbacking so quickly! I look forward so much to reading your feedback :)

Usual thing, answers in spoiler tags/bold etc!

Yays for another episode.

Well this ep was lovely and action-packed, I was quite worried we were going to lose some Syndicate boys and girls along the way, but I'm quite glad they're all alive, though not kicking.

Well quite! I don't think they're kicking much at the moment, but yes no one died from their side which is good! :)

Everyone was pretty badass this episode, definitely enjoyed seeing Elise and Kaia do their worst. The hidden room is interesting, I wonder if we'll be seeing that again.

You'll definately be seeing The Aperture again. In one more episode ONLY.
I loved writing Elise and Kaia in this episode, they were my favourites, purely because of their scenes!

Black, Delilah and Jesse were interesting, and it was a good end for the duo. They weren't sympathetic exactly but I liked that you gave more to them. They could actually think for themselves, though that may be what got them killed in the end, but still.

Aw pleased you did. As you know I was very worried about Jelilah, but whey!

DANCE HANDS! That's all on them :)

Ha, i'm sure you'll have more to say in a few episodes!

I'm very intrigued as to what will happen now! I think I prefer the dynamics between the Syndicates than between Xak and co., but that's probably because they're all new and stuff. Can't wait for Sponsorness :D

Interesting! Probably because there's more of them as well, and they are fresh and sparkly and such which is kinda a nice change!

I CAN'T WAIT to write The Sponsor's scenes. I'm very excited.

HATEFUL".

You're insane. Amazing. But insane.

(even though I've learned from One Missed Call, that what lies behind the peepie-hole is not always pleasant!) There's still plenty more to be played with, right?

She was a bit dead in the water in this episode. I think she was still reeling from the whole loss of power of Xak to do it again in this episode with the Syndicates. HA Pleased it annoyed you that she'd tell them when it was all over with ;) I aim to annoy in my prolonged revealing of secrets!

Oh yes Jared, expect plenty of playing to be had with her...but not in that way...

As a side note, did I ever mention I love her actress? I loved her in Will & Grace and I can see her speaking Ursula's parts with ease! [does anyone else do that? or am i the only one who plays out the scenes in his head?]

I do it when i'm writing! And yes, the reason I cast Blythe was because of her in Will and Grace! :)

Hmmm well, we shall find out won't we about what will happen now he's figuring out about Cate and such, quite soon you'll find that out, in the next episode or so. So pleased you liked him though! :)

Hm.

HAHA! Well when she was in The Aperture, she thought "war" and it's implied that she went to a war-like dimension where she picked up some kick ass moves/gear etc. How long she was there for I don't know, and will never reveal. I only got her to say the word "war" to show us where she was going. Plus, to give her her first line! :) Her only power is healing yes. She has no other powers, although now she's a bit more experienced in battle.

Yeah I felt a bit like I left Constance out in this episode which is a bit of a shame for me. I wish I could have put her in more than I did but hey...

You find out soon what Constance and Ursula are needed for...or do you? I can't remember if I reveal it sooner or later. Meh...it'll come out soon :P

I think she just wants to find out what Lance is like, she doesn't know a whole lot about him. She was out of the loop when he arrived so yeah. But it's interesting you say she's up to something...

Yeah I know, you're completely right. He's just moping because of Charlie. I kinda wanna strangle him and say get over it...like with Cate sometimes. But hey, I let the characters develop like I myself would probably develop. Which just goes to show...I'm annoying and deserve to be strangled.

Ha, well I was watching Supernatural recently and I realised Jensen doesn't get naked enough. So he did!

In the briefcase was the guns with the wooden bullets. It was explained in the scene with the neutral dimension. :)

Haha how gross would it be to see that spell go wrong, urgh! Pleased you're "trying" to warm to her :p It's nice to not hold grudges! ;)

Hmmmmm. Well I don't wanna say too much, although there are clues in certain episodes as to what his strength is and where it comes from. But I can tell you, you find out in 3.12! :)

Dante - DANCE HAND ACTION! HOORAY. Dante needs to make up his mind, though.. I hate triangles. :[ Just love Lance and you'll be the happiest you'll ever be, Dante!

Oh you gay fan boys! You love the Dance. It's a pretty ship name I'll give you that...but can't you see how Dante is destined to bone Ursula.

As I told Alex, this scene wasn't going to be in 3.09. It was gonna be in 3.10 but I thought...MEH! What the heck, why not! As you know, Charlie's not a born killer...so there's a pretty good reason why.

All your questions about Charlie, Sephy, Echidna and Shelter will be revealed soon. I can't remember when they all get answered...but SOON!

Okay, I'm done with the random bursts of crazy. Almost. :]

As I said before...amazing. Insane. But amazing! :)

OH WOW!!! I've just read the sponsor... and what can I say? YOU ROCK!!! Even though Sephy as the sponsor didn't convince me... If she knew all those things, why did she wait so long to make them all come up?
And with this God War are you setting up the ground for season 4 or sirens? Because presonally it got me sooo curious!!!

Glad you enjoyed it! :)

The thing with Sephy is she didn't want to tell the gang what she knew because she knew how upset Charlie would be over Kaia, not to mention the fact her own mother was in danger herself. She just wanted to hold back until the time was right because everything she's done is to protect Charlie - that's all she's ever wanted to do. However as you saw in this episode Sephy's realised Charlie is strong, and so is Sin. She's starting to doubt herself and everything she's done.

The scenes in Greece set up the foundations of Season 4 and Sirens yes, but the importanc of the necklace wearing men won't come into it until Season 5.

Glad you enjoyed it though, it was a tough episode to write with the flashbacks, bringing Sephy back into it, and of course Cate's scenes were hard.

All right, all right; this is long overdue, but I do have two excuses to throw out at you. Will they matter? No, not in the least, but still! ONE EXCUSE is that I've been busy with school as of late -- Comprehension Tests and midterms were scattered through the week last week. ANOTHER EXCUSE is that I actually did have a feedback typed up and my computer blue-screened on me Wednesday night. So I temporarily gave up. :P I get aggravated easily, what can I say?

Now, onwards!

Xak and Charlie / Sephy.
Xak made me smile throughout this whole episode, pretty much. As always, he was written wonderfully and his interaction with Charlie was great. It showed him as being an understanding individual yet again, and he didn't push and push Charlie to answer all the questions that we know were spinning around in that pretty little head of his. He was patient with her, and still in charge. Throughout this episode he is mostly focused on Charlie, except for the battle stuff with the club, but who wouldn't be? :]

Charlie is BACK. Thank god. I loved her interaction with Kaia, though. The threat was excellent and deserved. I loved the flashbacks, as usual; you write them in a non-painful way, which many television series have a habit of doing the opposite. The murder scene and everything was explained in this episode, which was appreciated, but I'm glad that Charlie has reservations about spilling out everything to Xak. She's also being patient with him, though; I'm glad that they're not just rushing back into things because that probably would not be the best thing to do with all of the other factors to consider. It was sad to see that Charlie had to witness her great grandmother's death, when she hadn't really ever had a chance to even meet her. What are those guys? And the necklaces?

Sephy has returned, and I'm so excited. I've missed her a lot! Her charm has returned full-force and I understand why she didn't want to tell Charlie and Xak everything so long ago. She didn't know exactly what to do about the situation. I loved the costume coordination, btw. And the black fighting suit? Quite contrasting but I thought it fit. It was sad to find out that Sin was a match for her, but if she hadn't been, that would've been too easy, would it not? Sephy is going to have to come up with another plan, but if you're not too careful Sephy will be soon seen as the leader. :o

Cate and Trafford / Elise and Sin
Cate was finally found out by Elise and Kaia. And she knocked them out? Geez, kiddo. I get that she was scared, but home girl up and ran. To L'Azura.. Hopefully she's not just going to disappear for a while? I understand that she's still suffering, but it's getting a bit more painful to have to see her go through that. Come on, Cate. Rise up. I don't have any worries about her being able to defend herself there, but maybe her being there will actually be more help? Who knows. As a side question, why's Melody listed as a main character in the index when she's kind of .. dead? Literally, this time. And has been for a while.

Trafford didn't do too much to wow me this episode, but that's not in a bad way. My attention was focused mainly on select others. He's still got a place in my heart :]. I wonder how he'll react to finding out about the Onyx Tonic and that Cate knocked out Elise and Kaia.

Sin was brilliant in this episode. I love how her humanity is fighting so hard against her; and that her humanity blew her army to smitherines. I wonder how Sin will fair with her humanity getting stronger and stronger. Charlie wants a shot at saving her.. Is it possible? Is it even worth it? I wish I knew what was going to happen at the end; all this suspense is killing me. Sin is getting stronger as well it seems.. The final battle will be an interesting one to witness.

Dante and Lance / Sofia, Echidna and Shelter
Dante. Does he silently fear that the same thing might happen to Lance as did it with Christian? He reprimands Sofia for opening her big mouth, but does he think that might happen? Argh. Love stories. I wish that Sofia would just bite the dust. Literally, this time. I don't want Lance to go bye-bye, but I do want Dance to work out. As well, I want to find out more about Lance's power. Could it have come from L'Azura? Maybe Cate will find out something.. maybe.

Sofia. Die. Thanks.

Echidna and Shelter ARE BACK, TOO! Yay! I love Shelter, and her newfound talking -- er, signing -- abilities. :] I love Ali Larter as Echidna and I can totally see her playing the part. I loved their parts in the flashbacks, but Shelter's importance still hasn't clicked with me. Why was she needed so much? She has so much that is still hidden about her. When's the big reveal? :P There's too much unknown!

Where are the captives? :[ We have to find out Ursula's secret, big time. It's so going to bother me until we do; and if we don't, it'll bother me more. xD Oh wells. Feedbacky wasn't so great this go round, so I apologize. D:

No murdering, thanks. :]

Side note -- I missed the Trivia this episode! I always look forward to it, and it was gone. :[ Sadness.

Reply as always in bold in your quote/spoiler tags! :)

I SHALL forgive you. THIS ONCE. Nah, seriously Jared don't worry about it! Your feedback is always amazingly epic and I completely love reading it and responding - makes all what I do with SS worthwhile! :)

I'm pleased you enjoyed Xak in this episode. He kind of had to take a step out of this episode as Charlie/Sephy/Sin/Cate were more important - but he plays a bigger role in the next episode.

I was thinking of a good threat for her to make against Kaia without making it sound too cheesey so i'm pleased that worked out alright! :)

The flashbacks were so much fun to write and I'm pleased they weren't painful - I know they can be. Also I'm pleased you noticed I like to take my time with the character's (mainly Xarlie) getting back into things - a lot has happened and they're gonna need every ounce of strength to get to a good place once again.

Just a quick note. Demeter would have been Charlie's grandmother but she was Sin's great grandmother because it went:

Demeter (mother) - Sephy (daughter) - Charlie (granddaughter) - Sin (great granddaughter) :)

The men and their necklaces I'm afraid won't be rel
