The Weight of the World - not that very interesting. I've got no idea what I expected to see in Buffy's subconcious... but at least something bit more intriguing I suppose.
As You Were - Married Wonder!Riley just a year after allegedly devastating breakup with Buffy? Spike calling himself Doctor after S5? No, thanks.
Bring on the Night - Boring episode. Saved only by Andrew. (I also have doubts about Spike's "she believes in me" declaration. While certainly very sweet, it just seems a bit, I don't know, a bit too typical tv-show-declaration kind of thing...)
End of Days - kind of boring for the penultimate episode of the whole show. Also don't like Buffy chasing Spike calling him "shirty" and then when she's had her validation that it's still All About Buffy, telling him "does it have to mean anything?". Way to go, Buffy! No wonder the poor guy didn't believe your forced "I love you" and had to go out knowing you never could love him.

I like these episodes! This is hard....

Flooded
The episode feels a little empty. The mmm'demon was not interesting at all. He didn't seem to have a personal goal, other than to collect Buffy's head. And why did he want that anyway? Wouldn't he want to collect it himself? It's a little strange how he would expect the Trio to do it. And vice versa: why would they agree to that deal if they knew they wouldn't/couldn't (want to) kill her? Although Buffy, Willow, and Giles were great in this episode. Mediocre episode.

Revelations
I love the intervention scene. All of the characters were written perfectly -- they would say the things they said. However, Angel was very awkwardly written in this episode. There was something about him that didn't feel right. I don't understand how he was so weak against Faith. She flips him over the couch, he lands on the coffee table and is knocked out for minutes? Also klinda wish Cordelia and Oz were more involved in the episode. But Buffy VS. Faith was really good though; that was another highlight!

Beneath You
I really like this episode. It seems to have been the only season 7 episode that had Buffy dealing with Spike's attempted rape realistically. I also loved how this episode was season two-esque: A one-ep character encounters the supernatural and turns to The Scoobies who play detective. The only downside of the episode was perhaps its flow: the pace was slow and there was minimal humour. Although the quote of the day was definitely between Buffy, Xander, and Dawn: "Should we round the gang?" "Good thinking, only this is the gang." And of course, Buffy's revelation about Spike was amazing. Quite frankly, I'm only voting this episode as "a worst" because the other ones are better, but not by much.

I loved it. I enjoy learning more of the mythology of the Watcher's Council -- something that I thought was underdeveloped in the series. The Scoobies were all cute during their questioning. Downside: Buffy's speech was amazingly written, although the direction of it was rather cheesy. Listen to the score when the Scoobies cheer -- it was like a scene in a bad hockey movie where Little Timmy shoots the puck in the net at the buzzer, winning the game and making the dad in the crowd mutter "I'm proud of you, boy." But that's not Petrie's fault; I would have to blame that on the director.

Two To Go- Not a terrible episode and Dark Willow is amazing but so many scenes just feel like filler, it’s as if they didn’t have any substantial material to get to the Buffy/Willow showdown and Giles reveal at the end of the episode. A lot of wasted opportunity in this episode, and as with a lot of season six.. Trio equals big yawn…

Beneath You- A very nice end, beautifully written, beautifully directed, beautifully lit, but the rest of the episode isn’t anything special. Actually one of the better episodes of the lacklustre season seven, it seemed to have some heart and Anya’s “I’m so gonna kick you ass!” backhand to Spike was freakin’ awesome, but the rest of the episodes on the list are better.

The Trial- Meh, didn’t do a lot for me. Showed again how selfless Angel can be and the ending was shocking and very unexpected but ultimately many other episodes on the list are better.

In The Dark- Better than most Ats s1 episodes but still pretty dull..

(I love In The Dark, because I love S1 of AtS and Spike's appearance was great. And although Beneath You is less than average episode, the iconic end scene makes up all for this mediocrity because after you see that church scene you'll NEVER forget it. It's one of the most powerful scenes of the whole AtS + BtVS.

I've figured it out: You've got a trigger, a la Season 7 Spike, so that when you see the words "Fool for Love", you go all Pod-BlasterBoy, with the squeeing and the pro-Spike comments. But you usually get over it and go back to being Normal-BlasterBoy within the next sentence or so.
