View Full Version : LEGO Buffy Game?
http://www.whedon.info/LEGO-Buffy-Videogame.html
I know it's really unlikely, but I'd quite like to see that. It wouldn't really compliment the show, but it would still be quite an interesting take on the concept and I'd probably buy it.
I've played the Star Wars LEGO game and that was pretty good, really funny with a whole host of characters to play as, maybe it could take every episode and turn it into a level? That way you'd be able to unlock all the characters.
Definitely interesting.
What do you guys think of the idea? Love it? Hate it? Would you buy it?

Lego Batman is pretty awsome, so I guess it would be cool to have a Lego Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Though I dunno if people remember the Palz Buffy figures? They were popular for awhile (http://www.buffycollector.com/images/palz/Palz_Buffy_Vampire_.jpg) until the company went under, so I dunno if Lego would wanna the money to back it up since the sales were pretty poor. Plus I don't think they could do the same level of sales. I mean all the Lego games were playsets first and I don't think Lego Buffy the Vampire Slayer playsets would sell very well at all... There just isn't enough unique scenes. The only one that MIGHT work would be "The Gift" and I guess "Chosen".

"Xander can do... whatever it is he does when he’s not possessed by a hyena spirit." Hehe, that's a great line.
Anyways, back on topic- The lego games are aimed primarely at kids. That's why they made Stars Wars, Batman, and Indie Jones Lego games. Kids know and love these characters, and so do their parents, therefore these are fun-for-all-the-family kinda games. Buffy on the other hand is aimed at a more mature audience, so a Lego Buffy probably wouldn't really grab the attention of the kids.
Having said that, I'd still love to see it happen. Hell, I'd just love to see a new Buffy game hit the selves period!

I really don't think the games are aimed for kids. The Lego sets maybe, but most defenitly NOT the games. More of a pre-teen/teen audiance cause they are not simple games but really make you think.
So in that sense I think Buffy could fit into their demographic.

I'd agree with that Digital - going on my limited knowledge the only other person I know who's bought one of these games is over 40 (It was the Lego Indiana Jones one) and I'm over 30.
We all played with Lego as children, so it's an easy medium to sell to us old foggies.

Theresa, I know - it really would be great fun! Oh....and good for your health too, hehe.
Oh, I love the Lego games! They're cute, and easier to follow then some of the other games out there. A Lego Buffy game would totally make me happy.
One downside, I'd never be able to look up from my DS, and my glasses would end up needing thicker lenses. xD
Moved this thread to the misc section as it's not discussing the show but the Lego :)
