We can't have Jeff and no Lester the store will never be the same again!! :O

I really hope that he's just not in the promos and that he's still going to be in the series as Jeff & Lester were great together. It's nice to see some promos with Big Mike, Anna and Jeff in them, but I'm getting worried about Lester now... *sniffles*

I hope you're right and it's not Lester. It just seems a bit 'dark' to go killing off one of the more fun and quirky characters on the show. I would definitely prefer it to be one of either Bonita or Tony to go, but I like Tony Todd so hope he gets to stick around a little bit longer!!

According to the imdb cast for the episode (which is a little short, and let's face it, it is imdb we're talking about here) Bonita is in the first episode, but Tony Todd isn't listed, so if they were to kill off one of those two I reckon it'd be her. Hmm....

Not sure.

Anway it would make for a good plot-line for the second season, because it could be that black ops group that Bryce was working for that kills her as a way to get to the intersect person, and then maybe Bryce will show up again! Woo! Ok... I admit it, I just want Bryce to come back, heh!!!

It's also been posted on iTunes for free for a few days which is how I have it. And I watched it. And it was awesome! :D


1. omg, I loved the Chuck/Casey scene where they were talking in the Buy More backroom. And I like the way it was shot with the close-ups and everything. Adam Baldwin rules! :heart:

2. Love how Casey was conflicted about having to kill Chuck. Sure, he is annoyed by him but he is also growing on him. I smell a bromance! :lol:

3. So... That major character death? Turns out, not so major. It was just the Tony Todd character. Man, what a relief though. I was totally scared one of the Nerd Herders or Casey was gonna get!


I'm tired, so that's all for now. But it was a great premiere and and am excited for the next installment. :) But some of you guys can see it before Monday too! :)

Oh, last thing...yay for the opening credits! They are the same as last season, just a bit longer so that they could fit Captain Awesome and the Buy More folks in. Cool! :)

Loved the premiere;

It started out fantastic with Chuck being in trouble because he stayed in the car which in't always the safest place. :roll: and I loved the conflict in Casey's head. I missed those weird minor characters like the Nerds and Captain Awesome. Captain A. hanging in the hall was awesome.

So, yeah I really enjoyed the premiere. Though I watched it on NBC's website, and their player totally sucks and stalls constantly and I missed some dialouge here and there which pissed me off. :p

I loved Sarah's reaction to Chuck being dropped from the roof. Yeah, no emotion attachment there. :p

It was funny to see how Casey prepares for a hit. :lol: He had Reagan's photo, and he stopped and winked! :heart: too awesome! But awww, he missed Chuck's photograph. But still, he was going to go through with it, damn him...:p But it was sweet how he didn't want to rush into action with Chuck's information in an effort to let him live longer. Have I mentioned I love Casey? :xd

After reading the spoiler about who got killed, I was a bit surprised at how it went down. I thought that Casey would kill him to protect Chuck, not that it was an accident. Or did Casey tamper with the cipher chip? hmmmm. But if he did, why was he in Chuck's apartmenet ready to assasinate him? It's a puzzler....:p

So overall I liked the opener, a nice kick off to a new season. Oh, and can I just say that I too miss the hot dog place....:lol: The yogurt & fun just seems too normal...:p Maybe the actress was tired of looking quite so ridiculous? :roll:

Serisouly, how fun was that second episode. Lots of fun! And it went by sooo fast. What great pacing. John Laroquette had me laughing out loud. I thought he did an excellent job; he had excellent delivery with his lines.

A thoroughly enjoyable episode! I kinda wanna watch it again! :xd

I loved the episode, I don't have much to say about it. It was just great. Only the last scene, that was a bit cliché in a not funny way.

John Larroquette had me in stitches. I'm going to have to re-watch the episode though, because I missed some of the middle of it, I have no idea how Sarah and Casey got abducted by the bad guys.

And how *hysterical* was Awesome taking Morgan's advice about Ellie!!!! :roll: Can you say 'stupid?' :lol: The look on Ellie's face was priceless when Awesome gave her the klondike bar! :rotflmao:

Heh, I loved the first two episodes! I don't really have anything else to say, because, as usual, they're totally fantastic.

I'll say that my favorite funny part from the second episode was definitely Chuck calling the chick w/ cipher, and saying where to meet him, all dramatically. And, then, she called back, and he was like, "oh, yeah, the directions are...."

I'm a bit bummed that we still know nothing about Sarah besides her having an alias on the age of 17. Nicole Richie was much better than expected and Cory from 'Boy Meets World' ... all grown up!

I loved Chuck and the big computer.

Can I just say I love this new season? All the episodes have been great, so far, and the latest one, "Chuck vs. The Ex" is amazing. It was wonderful! Hilarious, I thought, and the whole "Chuck reveals his CIA secret to Jill!" was so great. I was afraid he was going to have to hide it from Jill for at least another season! Great eppy.

I agree, it has been a great season and it is such a fun show. It really balances humor and action in neat way. I think the 2nd and 4th eps have been my faves so far. And Adam Baldwin continues to made of awesome. He kind of plays the same kind of characters in everything he does but he's so good at it that I can't help but not care that he is typecast. :xd

I'm a bit bumped that they took the 'evil girlfriend' road. It's a bit too cheap and a pity because I would like to see Chuck in a real relation.

The evil girlfriend felt very predictable to me. I was expecting it halfway through the episode. I can still see how it'll make for interesting drama, but yeah it was a bit cliche. Poor Chuck.

I'm glad Jill was revealed as Fulcrum because it made sense to the overall mythos. At Stanford we hear so much about Chuck, Bryce, and Jill. We know Bryce was CIA and they wanted to recruit Chuck (and would have if Bryce hadn't intervened). It makes sense that Jill (as smart as she was) was also recruited or had some ties.

It also makes a lot of sense as to why Bryce was a double agent CIA/Fulcrum. Apparently he had to have an in with Fulcrum, makes a lot of sense that it was Jill considering all the mentions of Bryce stealing Jill from Chuck.

I also really enjoyed the Sarah/Jill interactions not because of their current interest in Chuck, but their past involvement with Bryce. It's all a very tangled web. :heart:

I'm one of those people who was disappointed with Jill being revealed as a Fulcrum agent, but rewatching the episode, I realized something. I don't care. It was expected, and cliche....but I don't care. Why? Because the end montage where she was revealed was BEAUTIFUL. The slow motion worked perfectly, the song was fantastic, and the cliffhanger was great.

I can't wait for tonight to see how it all plays out. But, seriously, that was probably the best end to a Chuck episode so far.

I know!!!! The end montage was just fantastic! I don't know what the song was, but I really want it. Chuck has great music in the show. My favorite part was when you heard the click that the computer found another Fulcrum agent. And you see Sarah and Casey's shocked faces as the soft music plays, and they start running in slo-mo, and then the music picks up as you see the screen with Jill!!!! :heart:

Hmm, maybe. Poor Chuck. I liked what they did last season with Lou, and they took the stereotypical "agent likes Chuck just so she can use him" thing and then threw it back in our face and was just like, oh yeah, she's smuggling salami. That was perfect.

My favorites from this show right now are the 2.01 Intersect BOOM song, 2.03 Break-Up song!!!!!!, and 2.07 end montage with Jill song!!!!!!

http://chucktv.net/ is really good for identifying music. I've used it a few times before. The latest episode isn't listed there but I found that song you were looking for after a brief google search. :)

The show does have some great tunes. So did The OC. Another Josh Schwartz show. I found lots of good bands through The OC.

Another great episode last week. I'm so glad that the entire episode wasn't about Chuck needing to be rescued by Sarah and Casey. I like that it went back and forth with who is playing who. And the OC reference with Chuck and Jill riding the ferris wheel was adorable. I'm so glad in the end Chuck played Jill and captured her rather than letting her get away. And although I'm not a Chuck/Sarah fan, I do at least like them to be friends and enjoyed the happy ending with Thanksgiving. Plus Morgan and the other Buy More rejects got to come to dinner as well. :heart:

Oooh I also loved how Big Mike thought that Fulcrum was robbing the Buy More and that John Casey defended the Buy More! :roll: :roll: :roll:
