Oh thank god. The Angel CD was so amazing with all the scores and karaoke tracks that it put the other Buffy albums (mins OMWF) to shame. I am glad we are getting this.

The one track I would love to get, and so far hasn't been anywhere would be the slow-insturmental version of the opening theme. It played at the end of "Prophecy Girl". It sounds so amazing and I would love for it to be released on this album...

Besides that, the line up rocks.

We do have the slow version of the theme song from Chosen though ;)

What I really miss on this soundtrack is the Willow/Oz love theme from Wild At Heart. When Oz leaves Sunnydale. It`s so beautiful and should definitly have been released! And I wonder what the alt. version of Sacrifice is...could it be the version from Bargaining, part 2? When Buffy remembers how she died?

Wait a sec--where is all this music released?! Especially the Angel season 4 stuff and the YW kiss music?!!! :s I thought there was only one ATS CD! And only two Buffy ones....

In any case, this is cool, though the one piece of music I truly want (more than anything else, except perhaps the YW kiss music) is the Evil!Jasmine-Cordy theme of season 4, most prominently played during the sacrifice scene in "Inside Out!" When will they finally release that, I wonder?

and ditto with drusilla's nursery music (reunion), wesley's stalking music (billy) and evil-cordy's mwahaha/connor-manipulation eerie piano music...

that certainly beats btvs season 4 stuff i don't even remember that well.

the bangel, angel and darla stuff is definitely my favorites of what has been released (along with those missing creepy ats piano tunes).

I'm pretty sure that the Evil!Jasmine-Cordy/Connor theme is the exact same music as that of Wesley stalking in Billy--I remember being surprised in a re-watch to hear Evil!J-C's theme in that epp....it's just played so much more often (and in association with Evil!Jasmine-Cordy) in season 4 I think that people think of it more in terms of season 4.....

And wasn't "close your eyes" named later (after that scene in Becoming?)--so that it wouldn't exactly be foreshadowing? ;)

One piece of music I also would really like is the song that plays during Buffy's dream in "Surprise"--so haunting and cool, but by people so obscure it's not on any easily obtained album as far as I know....

the song in surprise during buffy's dream is called "anything" by clement & murray.

i'm fairly certain clement & murray is stock music, because the jossverse uses a lot of them. reptile boy is the episode full of clement & murray stock music. that and extreme music library, ogm music library, etc... fun crap like travel mexico #1 (darla in puerto cabezas), art deco suite (darla looking for purer blood at the arcade), pure roots (heard prominently in the season 5 ats bloopers), tears down my cheek (birthdayverse hyperion hotel lobby) and at the fairground (the santa monica pier) stock music.

remember that some of the things you're hearing as 'music' are actually stock stuff. even some of the songs that sound like regular artists (as with that surprise tune and a few of the ones in reptile boy).

and actually... i think drusilla's nursery, wesley's stalking and the evil-cordy theme are all the same tune!

Man i cant wait! i always loved how buffy made their own music, an that it wasnt just some band that was cool at the time. The music alwasy fit more with the scene then in other shows. I am so going to buy this.. thanks for imforming me i would never of known otherwise!!
