To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

(Ecclesiastes 3)

They have to happen - season finales – the season must end at some point. We all love them and hate them at the same time. They are so exciting and often heartbreaking, (yes Supernatural and Bones, I’m looking at you!) but there’s also the painful realisation that you won’t have any more new episodes to watch for what seems to be forever. Some of the best things about finales are how all the disparate threads merge together to create this mind-blowing ending, the little clues that are dropped in during the season that make you go “Oh, now that makes sense!” once the finale has been watched. Oh and don’t forget the cliffhangers that leave you desperately wanting more.

So that’s what I want you to art. Season finales.

Category 1. The Finale.
Art your favourite scenes, whether it be the huge plot moment or the tiny little incidences that make you love your show.

Category 2. The Arc
Art the events leading up to the finale - the foreshadowing, the comment that only makes sense when viewed from the perspective of knowing the ending of the season, the players that have a huge role in concluding the arc etc. This includes events that may have taken place in previous seasons but are only now impacting the current season (e.g. Willow doing her first spell in S2 and the consequences of that in S6).

Category 3. The Theme.
Most seasons have some kind of theme running throughout the episodes – Life is the big bad in S6 of BTVS for example. Think about what was the theme of the season - the way it has been portrayed through out the season and how it came to the fore in the finale, and art that.

Category 4. The Cliffhanger
Simple. Art what it was that left you inconsolable that another episode isn’t around the corner, panting for another episode not next week, not in a couple of months but RIGHT NOW!

Rules:
- Every piece must be connected in some way to a finale.
- Please state what category your piece fits into.
- Promos and manips don’t really fit into an episodic challenge, but I will allow them as long as they allude to events in the finale.
- Spoiler tags are going to be very important in this challenge – I don’t want anyone to have a finale ruined for them, so spoiler anything that has just aired. Consequently, finales from previous seasons will not need tags.
Fandoms: Any and all, but I have watched all the episodes of the following shows and so will need comprehensive explanations from any others:- BTVS, AtS, Firefly/Serenity, Supernatural, Doctor Who (the new series), Bones, Heroes, Tru Calling, Life On Mars (Season 1 only though), Friends, Gossip Girl. I won’t allow movies as they don’t fit into the challenge criteria – except in the case of Serenity - I’ll class that as a finale to the Firefly season as it didn’t really have a standard season finale.
Sizes: Go wild!
Closing Date: 17th June (4 weeks)

Please post your entries as you do them and don’t forget to credit your sources/inspiration. And finally:-

Have fun!!

EDIT

I've caught up on Moonlight now, so those pieces won't need a lengthy explanation, unless of course you feel it needs it!

Spoilers for Moonlight Season Finale...

I have been waaaaiting for these caps for the last few days, just dying to get them! And finally! From what I've read in your rules, all shows are accepted, but with a fancy explanation. Prepare yourself... :p

In the season (yes, season, because dammit, we will get a second season!) finale, the entire episode was about the relationship between vampires and humans, the danger and the excitement and what you will do, how far you will go, for love, i.e. changing another person into a vampire. In this episode, a vampire is brought into jail for killing another human being - in the "throes of passion", if you will - and Mick and Josef and the rest of the vampire community must find a way to get her out, or else she'll start singing about every vampire in the L.A. area, thus exposing their secret, which is a big no-no. So they successfully retrieve her from going to jail, but she has to be killed for threatening the exposure and her lover of 150 years (she fell in love with him when he was human, and changed him so they could be together forever) dies with her in the end (death by fire extuingisher) because he can't live without her. It's really tragic and lovely the way they executed it, IMO. Alas, by the end of the episode, Beth - the human in the relationship - and Mick - the vampire in the relationship - talk. Beth tells him she doesn't want to have to make the decision to turn into a vampire in the future, she doesn't want that hanging over their heads because obviously they are stuck the way they are, and she's really not ready to be a blood-drinking woman. But Mick has a beautiful speech about how it's not about being a human and a vampire, but about how they feel about each other, how they have to live in the moment and be with each other (a huge revelation for him because he was the one seriously holding back in the relationship) and then: kissage! Lovage! The magic words! :thud:

This was a HUGE moment for Moonlight fans (or to be more specific, McBeth fans) because they have been dancing around each other for the entire season, just because of their natures and what that means to each other, so when they decide to just go for it, it was definitely a fan-squeeing moment. Plus, a great ending considering CBS cancelled the show and we're all walking the line of waiting for another network to possibly pick it up. So... it's awesome.

Whew, alrighty then. Enough blabbering! :xd I chose to show that exact moment, when Mick tells Beth what she was wearing the first night they met (he remembered! So sweet!) and that he loves her, and then the kissing... so lovely, and pretty much the best moment evah!

Brilliant challenge idea. For my first entry I decided to do a Category 2 piece on the Gift, the only reason being that I remembered Faith's quote to Buffy in Graduation Day Part 2:D

The explainy bit
Basically after Buffy tries to kill Faith and Faith ends up in the hospital, Buffy also ends up their after saving Angel. A dream then takes place where Faith says the line "Little Miss Muffet, counting down from 7-3-0". Depending on where you read it this is a reference to Dawn arriving as Buffy's little sister in Season 5 (Little Miss Muffet) and Buffy's eventual death at the end of said season (counting down from 7-3-0) which is 730 days after the dream encounter in Season 2. Found it really hard deciding what caps to choose to try and represent everything, cause I really didn't want to overload it. So here is an explanation of the caps I chose, kinda boring but hey ho just so you all get it lol. Probably isn't necessary but I'm feeling in a lets bore everyone to death mood tonight:roll:

So I choose a cap from the dream sequence in Season 2, one of Glory (seeing as she was the big bad trying to find the key (Dawn), one of Buffy before she sacrificies herself, one of her dead, the actual moment of her sacrifice, one of the moment where Dawn finds out that she is the key, realises she isn't really Buffy's sister and that nothing in her life ever really happened and cuts herself to see if she is really real, one where Buffy cuts herself and dawn to show that it doesn't matter, Summer's blood still runs through them both, one of the Monk cause they were the ones who put the key in the form of a human to protect it from Glory and Phew finally a big old stock of a key cause well that's obvious.:D

What's to Come - Category 2

WONDERFUL challenge. Everyone loves finales (most of the times :err: )!

So, I arted the latest Bones finale, 3x15 "The Pain in the Heart". I know there was a lot of pain in my heart, and I'm sure that can be said for many others. I decided to art the hardest scene to watch for me in a television show....ever. It made me so sad, it made me cry! .....and, it's the biggest spoiler of the show. So, the rest of my post will, unfortunately, be in spoilers.

Entry One: Flaw

So, you still with me? That spoiler was Zack Addy, one of the most beloved and wonderful characters from the series, is Gormagon's apprentice, the serial killer crazy lunatic dude :( He didn't eat anyone, but he sure did murder someone. He is into logic. He loves logic. And Gormagon used it to his advantage. Just a few episodes before, "The Verdict in the Story", a character said a very rational human being can rationalize anything....including murder. Foreshadowing? You bet your ass. This guy rationalized murdering for his cause, and Zack, with a fragile and weak mind, was manipulated. He did everything he said, mindlessly. Unfortunately, that means he's a killer. He needs to be taken down and taken away. However, Brennan does not give up faith. She has never given enough to love to him, or to anyone, for that matter. But Brennan gives him that. She comforts him; she loves him. And I think it's beautiful. She explains to him that there's "a flaw in his logic," because he set off his bomb late, making it have a bigger impact on him, just to save his best friend in the lab: Hodgins. "You risked everything....to save Hodgins," says Brennan. And that's the redeeming factor in this episode. In a ridiculously weak finale, there was this little glimmer of hope. Zack is not a bad person. Zack loves. Zack forever!

Sorry for the lengthy response; needed to vent ;)

Well, this can go in Category 1: The Finale or Category 4: The Cliffhanger. But I think I will put it in C1 because the cliffhanger is more of an emotional shocker than a plot-tangled one.

Spoiler alert for the season one finale of 24 that aired years ago! :xd

So, this was a crazy ending. I did one of my episodic collages but I only used images from the finale's final moments: Jack reuniting with his daughter and on his way to seeing his wife...his discovery that a close colleague (and former mistress) is actually a mole and a spy and a terrorist who has made his day a living hell...and his last discovery of his now dead wife, killed by that traitorous bitch. I used a heavy blue slant on the piece because I think it works well with emotional angle that I was going for. But I also wanted to play up the gray and blue hues within the CTU building where these final moments take place.

Well, I have two more entries that both also go under the Category 1 guidelines. Both are from episodes that have aired just this past week so spoiler tags, it is! Fandoms are House and Grey's Anatomy. :)

House, M.D.

So House just had a two part finales and these two eps are two of the best of the entire series. Evocative and moving and bringing in a new dynamic....Anyway, this is from "Wilson's Heart" and it encapsulates the moments in which Wilson loses his girlfriend. She was badly injured as the result of a bus crash and she was on the bus because she was coming to get a drunk House from the bar. So I collages images of Wilson and his pain from the ep alongside with his goodbye to his love. I used some deep reds because it felt like a fitting way to capture pain and anguish and confusion. But it also represents blood, our life source, and it represents love as well. Red just seemed the way to go. :)

Grey's Anatomy

If I had to choose a fave ship from the show, it would be Izzie & Alex. I think he's always had a thing for her. Since the start. And he's always pissed because she never seems to choose him and the one time she did, he basically screwed it up by being ass. 'Cause he is an ass. He's the character that we know the least about on the show. Four seasons and we still don't know much. But we learned more in the finale. You don't need to know exactly what he was going through or dealing with in this episode, you just need to know that he seemed to reach a breaking point. And he reaches out to Izzie for comfort. A bold move coming from him as he is not a person to ask for help or comfort. He never lets anyone in; he always has his guard up. So while it appears to be a coupley, shippy piece, it's really more about Alex. Just Alex.

Entry one
Right, so I went with category 1. Because, uhm... uhm..., I felt like it?

The (boring ?) info on the piece
Anyhow, I arted this really emotional and important moment for Meredith and Derek. Derek is married, but his wife cheated on him. He went to Seattle and met Meredith. Sparks flew and they fell in love. Then the wife comes back and he goes back to her. Meredith is heartbroken. However, the attraction between them isn't gone and they can't seem to be able to be "just friends". In the final episode of season two it all breaks loose...

I tried to work in how they both feel so drawn to each other even though they're both with other partners and know that it's wrong. The main emotion I focused on was "despair", but I dunno how well that worked out...

I shall take over your challenge thread! :p

Entry #4. Category 2. The Arc.

Supernatural. Now, this focuses largely on how the s3 finale was formed out of the s2 finale as well as the s2 premiere. The quote says it all really. The Winchester family is quick to offer up their souls if it means saving each other. John's done it. Dean's done it. And Sam would certainly be willing, I am sure; he has even sought out the demon with whom the contract was made to see if he could get his brother out of it. So I don't think much more explanation is needed. I used images from four different episodes: 2x01 In My Time Of Dying, 2x22 All Hell Breaks Loose, 3x05 Bedtime Stories, and 3x16 No Rest For The Wicked. All of the images were chosen with purpose, as they all have some sort of significance in the vents of the demon dealing.

Category 1: The Finale

For my first entry I chose to art one of my favourite scenes of the current S3 finale of Supernatural 'No Rest For The Wicked'. It certainly falls under the category of "tiny little incidents that make me love my show"!

Entry 1:

Gah Loraine I wished you had watched Alias since I haven't seen this ep since it's first airing but I'll try and explain; what I remember at least. Okay so Sydney was in the fight of her life with her so called friend (who was really a doppelganger of her friend), Syd ended up shooting her so called friend dead and then she goes unconscious in this house she was fighting in. Well in the next scene we see Syd unconcious in this alleyway. She wakes up only to find herself in Hong Kong 2 YEARS LATER and has no recollection of anything that happened in the past two years!!!! :shocked2: I know, crazy right?! Anyway I chose Category 4: The Cliffhanger since I have never been so excited for another episode to happen. I mean I was literally shaking with adrenaline. That's never happened to me before with any show so obviously I would've chosen this episode for your challenge. :p

I am sorry. But your challenge has inspired me to take another look at some of my fave finales. So, um. Entry #5. :o

Veronica Mars, Category 2: The Arc. The arc, of course is this mystery of who killed Lilly Kane. And in the finale, "Leave It to Beaver," the question is answered, but not without some tense confrontations and danger. Spoiler alert! The killer resides within this entry. ;) This is just an episodic collage that focuses on the the last act. I also had to include some dead Lilly pictures as it is the connective tissue of the season and consequently, this piece.

No surprises here, I picked my favorite Finale: Chosen.
I decided to do a piece about the Final Fight, and from my perspective, the only way to translate the fury, the excitement, the power of that battle was to use a massive amount of caps. After the blending part, the trick was to not overcharge the piece, that's why I used no textures, no backgrounds, no words, no stocks and went for black&white-y colors.

Entry two
I chose option one and arted a (random?) scene from Grey's Anatomy's season four finale...

OK, so as I mentioned in my explanation for my first entry Meredith and Derek are this big off-again/on-again couple. At this particular moment they're off. Furthermore, they have these two teen-age patients about to go through very dangerous brain-surgery and all they really want to do before they might die is... Well, it's not hard to guess, they're teen-agers after all:xd Anyhow, the girls parents are a tad protective becuase they're afraid of how hurt she'll get if he dies and she survives - so they don't want the girl and boy (sorry, I really can't remember their names!) to spend so much time together. Howver, what the parents hadn't counted on was two very helpful doctors...

I really wanted the two scenes that play out to be seperated. We have the "guardians" and the "deed-doers". I wanted the latter to radiate happiness and joy - there of the yellow. Even though the mood outside the room isn't exactly cold, it's defintley not hot and heavy. Therefore I went with a more neutral colouring there.

This is just one little scene that makes me remember why I love this show so much: creepiness and amazing arcs. While I love the witty banter and the characters as well, the former two I also adore. So, I loved it when Aaron just scared the crap out of Veronica and talked about how he murdered Lilly after he just got released for doing that! It was just...shocking.

Entry 3: The Murderer

Yeah, so this might be my favorite scene of Veronica Mars ever. In this piece, I wanted to show all the things that happened; the sadness, the shock, the action, and the love that happened on the roof, and I didn't want to overpower it with too much text or textures, so I left the latter out completely. It was really fun collecting about 15 caps and blending them all together. Plus, it was a huge challenge! :xd

OK - for my first entry *drom rolls* The GIFT!

Option 1:

Hands down, the gift is my favorite episode. Seriously. I know it by heart.

So, in the gift I chose to focus on Buffy's death and on Spike, and how it affected him right in that moment, where you see her on the ground, dead.

You just can't ignore that, Spike was crying for a Slayer. He loved her. Really.

So I chose to portray that:

Yay! Another entry!!

Again, option one. This time- Graduation Day part 2.

This piece shows two expects of Buffy life in general. Almost every finale she wins, but she also lose (on the personal sense).

In season 2 she had to sacrifice Angel, the love of her life.
In season 3 Angel left her.
In season 5 she sacrifice her self in order to save her sister and so on, and so on.

So, I am showing you two parts in the episode, the fight, and the personal sense of her life. Hope it's good enough :)

Oo! Yay! Season finales! Though very depressing because it's the last time we'll see our favorite shows for months, they're also very exciting and THAT'S why I love this challenge.

So, I've been majorly inspired by the brilliance of our very own Jenni Lou. She's like...my Fanart Hero. And I'm not even joking. I've been browsing through her fanart and I love every piece that I stumble upon. Thus, she inspired me to make the wallpaper how I did (a much larger canvas, multiple caps, etc...etc...). So I owe her MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR thanks for being a fanartist and for inspiring me oh so much!

The piece itself? Well...Here's what went down...

*Under a spoiler tag because it's majorly spoilery for all of season 4 - and especially the season 4 finale - and because it's really lengthy*

"Lost" season 4 was primarily about how the Oceanic 6 (the name given to six of the plane crash survivors who managed to get off the island and to get rescued) were rescued. At the end of last season, a parachutist landed on the island and said that her boat - a Freighter - was only a few miles from the island. After the parchutist was murdered and the Freighter was called, four more people from the boat came to the island to investigate.

As the season moved on, we discovered that the people on the boat weren't sent to find the Island so that they could rescue everybody - they were there to capture Benjamin Linus (the evil mastermind who has lived on the Island for almost his entire life and who leads the "Others" - he's the guy at the bottom of the wallpaper) and - unbeknownst to the four people who landed on the island and to the captain of the Freighter - a group of mercenaries who were also on the ship were given permission by their boss to kill anybody who gets in their way.

At the end of the season, the mercenaries made it onto the island and were ready to attack. Ben, after his daughter was murdered by the men, knew that he had to "protect the Island" or else "everyone on it will die." How would he do this? To find out, he traveled with John Locke (not pictured in the piece) to visit the mysterious Jacob (a seemingly invisible entity who's in control of everything who gives orders to Ben). During said vist, they discovered that they had to move the island in order to keep everyone and everything safe.

Now, if that didn't throw everyone for a loop...well...then you're pretty lame. It was a huge plot twist and led to even more speculation: is it even possible for them to move the Island? Is this all a trick? Are they literally gonna move the island? Is there some kind of steering wheel and gas and brake pedals?

The major plot twist of the season 4 finale, however, was that Ben actually moved the Island. To do so, he went inside a station on the island and traveled deep underground - into the heart of the Island. A long time ago, this station served as a lab for people experimenting with time travel and with moving something between "dimensions." Ben essentially destroyed a wall in this station which created an opening into a large, frozen cave. He then scurried down a ladder, fell off the ladder, sliced open his arm, and then lit a lantern so he can see. Upon doing so, he saw the giant, frozen wheel sticking out of the icey stone wall. Ben knew that in order to the move the Island, he had to turn the wheel. But he also knew (though we don't know how he knew this...) that whoever moves the Island can't ever come back - they are somehow transported off the huge chunk of portable land. But that the price he knew he had to pay in order to protect the place that he loved so much. So, he pushed the wheel round and round and the whole place started to glow.

Meanwhile, above ground, the Oceanic 6 (and couple other people) were in a helicopter that was flying from the Freighter (which exploded, by the way, but that doesn't matter with this piece) to the Island. There was also a boat with some people who were going from the Island to the Freighter (though they didn't know that it had exploded) and there were the people who were on the Island. From the center of the Island, a really freaking bright light began to glow. Everyone turned to find out what it was but they could see. Everyone was blinded by the light (heh) and the entire screen was consumed with the white glow. The real shocked was what happened when the light faded: the Island was gone. All that was left was a large ripple in the vast, empty ocean where the giant land mass had once been.

And so the helicopter (which had basically run out of fuel for the second time), couldn't land anywhere and it crashed into the ocean. The people on the Island were moved when the Island moved. And the people in the boat/raft that was traveling away from the Island? Well...we don't know exactly WHAT happened to them...But it probably isn't looking very good where they are.

Ok, so the artistic portion of the piece...Well...All the explanation is really right above. The technical stuff, though? The composition is how it is for two reasons.

1. When Ben moved the Island, he traveled underground. Thus, I felt that it was appropriate to position the screencaps of him turning the frozen wheel beneath the screencap of the glowing Island. I also made this area blue to show how it was dark and frozen and all that jazz and also because Ben was incredibly heartbroken that he had to leave his home and never come back. I just felt that that was appropriate. And the glowing section in the bottom right corner is there because I just wanted to show how the wall with the wheel started to glow as he turned it and it looked cool.

2. The top half of the wallpaper is really bright for the obvious reason that, when the Island moved, everything was consumed in a brilliant white glow. And, when it faded, the Island was gone. In the top right corner, there's a screencap of the empty ocean with the huge ripple where the Island was but you can't really see it anymore...So just know that the giant glowing section is supposed to represent the Island disappearing and the bright light that consumed everything when it did.

Oh, and if you're wondering the piece is titled "Frozen Donkey Wheel," that's what the executive producers codenamed this huge plot twist (which, they always give a codename for all the major season finale plot twists). What's really hysterical is that, in years past, the codenames were always really farfetched and cryptic but this year? The plot twist literally involved a frozen donkey wheel. So yeah. That's why I'm calling the piece that. :p
The entries so far are ab fab! It makes me giddy when I see a wallpaper that's of a season finale that's still fresh in my mind and that gets me all perky and excited! :D :2party: Great challenge, hun!

2nd entry:

Category 3: The Theme

Another Supernatural piece (what a shocker! ), again for the S3 finale. Serious spoilers ahead, so if you didn't watch it you might not want to look at this one! ;)

The theme: Throughout S3 we see Sam steadily become darker and more ruthless, driven by the fear to lose Dean. This progression culminates in ‘Mystery Spot’, where Sam becomes self-destructive after Dean’s death; in the finale though, Sam accepts that Dean makes the ultimate sacrifice to preserve his brother’s goodness. In my wallpaper Sam honours that sacrifice by preserving Dean’s legacy.

The wallpaper: I tried to visualise Dean's last words to his brother: I positioned Dean in the middle of the wall, because in life and in death, Dean is the central point of Sam's life. To the right we see (future) Sam carrying on Dean’s legacy, saving people, hunting things, taking care of Dean's car, just like his brother showed him to. I blended softly faded Dean caps just behind Sam, where Dean mirrors Sam's actions, to symbolise that a) Dean is always with him, if only in spirit and not in flesh and b) Sam continues the family business, like his brother taught him to. Dean is present in everything he does.

Since Dean's death leaves Sam's life without warmth and joy, I chose a 'cool' blue as the dominant colour, but there's warm yellow light streaming in from the right, showing that there's hope beyond the abyss of black desperation, that dominates the left side. I am quite happy how this piece turned out!

Entry 4 - Live and Learn

Category 2 (although most caps are from finale...just capping all the plots in finale)

1280 (http://differentdimensions.taste-of-honey.net/art/weeds/weeds2121280.jpg)

caps: daydreaming
textures: all over
gradients: all over
text: the cardigans

Well, I know this is a sucktastic piece that's just a complete mess, cause I bombarded it with textures. But, whatever, why not post it? So, I arted all the plots: Silas' criminal record, Shane's graduation, Cat running away, and most importantly, all the pot's gone!  Oh, yes, and Peter Scottson. Evil bastard :p (he's the gun with the gun) I made the cap of him pointing the gun towards Nancy/Conrad kissing to show that he was really bitter and went to threatening them. So, that's basically all my thoughts. Yeah *shrugs*

Since the art I just made sucked, I decided to make another to redeem myself, which I like.

Entry 5 - Belong To You

Category 1 (one of my fav scenes evah)

1024 (http://differentdimensions.taste-of-honey.net/art/weeds/weedsah1024.jpg)

caps: daydreaming
textures: misplaced
brushes: misplaced, more adventurous
gradients: all over
text: from the episode

So, like I said a second ago, I needed to redeem myself for the last piece  IMO, I did. I used more brushes to show the craziness without (hopefully) overdoing it, and the caps were all supposed to show the crap Nancy was going through. Last piece was sort-of-box-style, but I tried to go all-out box style, and it worked pretty well, IMO. All green because when I think of Weeds, I think green (don't ask me!). The text is Nancy on the phone with Silas, and her voice is all shaky saying, "Silas....did you take something that doesn't belong to you?" "I want in." One of my favorite moments. And I put two of my favorite shots every, The Drug Free Sign and the overhead shot of "Drug Free Zone" and all five guys just pointing they're guns at Nancy, with her head looking up towards the sky. Love that, so I included it. Basically, my favorite scene ever in Weeds. I hope I did it some kind of justice.

That's probably it for me in this challenge. I arted all my favorite finales (and one crappy one) except "The Gift". So, thanks!

Entry #6! I couldn't help myself because last night I watched Serenity with my fiance and his son. And his son LOVED it--as I suspected he might--and today he watched the first disc of Firefly. :xd YayZ.

So, not much to explain. I just like to make collages and so that's what I did. And therefore, it may be classified under Category 1: the finale. :)

Explanation:
Okay so this is a mixed Buffy/Angel piece. I adored the whole Pylean arc at the end of Season 2 Angel.... So much went on and Angel went through so much battling with his inner demon and such. So it was heartbreaking when he was so happy to be home, everyone was and then what does he find when he arrives home? Willow... a very sad Willow, so obviously its Buffy, shes dead. This is why i love Buffy/Angel, i love how even when they are 2 different shows they can come together.

Category 1. The Finale.
Final of House MD

These are almost the very last moments of final episode: House is in a comma and he is talking to Amber whose death is partly his fault. In his dream, they are on a bus, and Amber is driving away while House wakes up and goes back to his life, to his best friend who loved Amber and who probably will never forgive House for her death.

Encouragement
http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r191/ciderdrinker/EncouragementAwardcopy.jpg
This is a joint award because both of you have come on so far with your art recently and it needs rewarding. Holypotatoes piece on Alias, conveyed the sense of disorientation well with her use of caps, and Blasterboy's piece on Weeds shows a new direction for him with some interesting results. Congratulations you two and keep up the hard work! :D

Honourable Mention

Man Heather you needed that award for the explanation alone! That really was a herculean feat. I loved what you were trying to portray here, and the colours are really fitting. Also that has got to be the coolest name for any art I've seen!
5th Place

This was such a beautiful moment and is captured wonderfully by the caps you've chosen. I love how clear both Angel and Willow are in this piece and how they look so hurt and confused by the news that Buffy's dead. The colours too are gorgeous.
4th Place
http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r191/ciderdrinker/Award4.jpg
This piece encompasses everything I love in Supernatural, and does so very well. :hf2:The many images show the different events leading up to the S3 finale perfectly.
3rd Place

I loved both of your pieces, but this one is stunning! I get chills looking at it! The way that Dean's eye and Sam's tears stand out is gorgeous, but what really makes me choke up is the caps showing Sam doing everything that Dean taught him. Really lovely, heartfelt piece!

Well that's it from me! I hope you enjoyed entering as much as I did seeing the entries come in!
