I found my old, best enemy: a murderer

The laying on of hands and faces
cheeks to plaster
with a whisker of infinity between them

The ordinary girl: the lonely god
Gone from one another
In an instant

Just as astronauts, ripped into the vacuum
are dead in that moment of
terrible luck

But they roll over and over
it seems like forever
the inevitable drag
into the black.
