Challenge 62: Everyday People

First challenge ever. I gotta say I'm not sure why I havn't done one before, but I am so excited. I've gone through like 50 ideas in my head and I wish I could use a few, but this one I think works and will be interesting to see people use.

The challenge is Everyday People. Now I don't want a wallpaper about the gang from F.R.I.E.N.D.S I want a wallpaper about superpowered/exstrodinary people doing everyday things. Such as Clark Kent at school, or Willow Rosenberg at a coffee shop. Now you can get even more original then that, such as dates, proms, such and such, everyday people kinda stuff.

Also the people don't have to have superpowers, it can just be people who live strange lives (such as the Supernatural brothers) People who live unordanary lives, I am allowing characters like cops or doctors who have lives outside their jobs.

If you have questions feel free to ask, but I think its pretty straight forward.


Deadline: March 29th (4 weeks)

Entries: Unlimited. Standard wallpaper sizes, wallscrolls are more then welcomed.

Fandoms: Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Charmed, Heroes, Roswell, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, Smallville, Supernatural, Tru Calling, Dead Like Me, Point Pleasant, Torchwood, Doctor Who... I know there are a few more supernatural series out there. If you wanna do em, just ask. I just don't wanna see shows like One Tree Hill or The OC.

*Edit: I am allowing shows such as ER, Grey's Anatomy.

So, the plane crash survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 certainly are living extraordinary lives. At this point in the series (Season one) they are living either on the beach or at the caves, building and designing their own shelters, trying to find food and sustenance, attempting to figure out a way to find rescue off the island. So, this is a sweet moment between Sayid And Shannon, an odd couple to say the least. He is an ex-Iraqi Republican Guard military man, a torturer. And she is a spoiled little rich girl. But the island has brought them together. When he required Shannon's skills to help with something he was working on, they bonded and there were some sparks. So Sayid arranges a first date for them. And they share a little about themselves in the moment. :) SO thanks for letting me do a Lost piece for the challenge! I hope to do another entry from a different fandom.

As a note, I have nothing but widescreen monitors now, so I have switched to working in widescreen format now.

So this is when Buffy has to accept that she's also a real person who needs money to survive, so starts working at the Doublemeat Palace. Sort of reminds me of when I worked at Dominos for a while at the same time... bad bad hat.

Entry One: More Special

Though neither of them have powers (well, Chloe does, but at this point in the episode she doesn't know and she's never used it), Chloe and Lana are both very involved in the strange, strange Smallville world. A cute normal moment for them, having a girls night out before Lana gets married.

ENTRY TWO

This is Buffy ice-skating which is a pretty everyday kinda thing. This is from the episode What's My Line, where she tells Angel about her Dorothy Hamill phase and how she used it as an escape from her parent's fighting, hence the Solitude text. This was the first idea that I had but I still can't get it the way I wanted it. Probably due to the cap quality but what the heck it's going in:)

I did my first (and last, cause it's tomorrow :lol: ) entry on the show, "Weeds" about a widowed drug dealer, just to make ends meat. That's not an ordinary thing, just in case ya didn't know that ;) So, I showed Nancy, the main character, falling in and out of love with a man named Peter, who she finally sees who he is at a family dinner.

Really pretty. There is just a great flow and I love coloring. At first I didn't get the sparkler light at the bottom, but once it clicked it I just loved these piece even more.
